Dr. Patel and the staff at Ashburn General Dentistry provide the best dental care I have found in Northern Virginia. Dr. Patel is extremely professional and always takes the time to listen as well as thoroughly explain every aspect of their dental hygiene regime. Most importantly, he always makes sure you are comfortable throughout the process and very successfully addresses any anxieties you may have.

The services that I receive from Dr Patel and his assistant is professional and attentive at all times. He collaborates with me to find the best solution for my dental issues, and he explains the corrective procedures in a manner that is clear and easy to understand. He is the best dentist I've ever had, and I've recommended him to my husband who is very pleased with his services as well! I recommend him to anyone needing a good, consistent dentist!

I have been coming to this office for many years now. I love the fact that is small business and I always get to see the same people. I love chatting with Doctor Patel he is very nice, friendly and professional. He has taken good care of my teeth for a long time now and I trust him. The location is great, very quite area and parking always available.

Takes unnecessary x rays with out patient permission. Expect to get hefty bills . Bad service and doctor not good please don't go

I cannot recommend Dr.Patel enough! He is kind, caring, and really sees your teeth and bite for what they are. He has said things to me about my bite that 20+ years of other dentists and orthodontists have never said, so needless to say he is absolutely everything I needed in a dentist. Seriously, if you're in need of finding what it means to have the perfect dentist, then you need to see Dr.Patel.

I had a very bad filling experience. Dr. Patel and his assistant are very friendly so I hate writing this. I had two fillings approximately two months ago, one on each side of my mouth, and one of which was a replacement of a damaged one due to grinding that I was not aware had an issue because it wasn't even causing me any discomfort. Ever since I've barely been able to eat due to extreme sensitivity. I could not take a single bite of anything on one side. Dr. Patel attempted to adjust the bite assuming that was the issue, but it didn't do anything. After the extreme pain continued I was told I might need to wait as long as 6-8 months for them to settle, or he could attempt to refill them or jump straight to crowns. I was not willing to wait that long or have him attempt anything and possibly insist on expensive crowns. There was never an offer to take more x-rays to see if there were any issues. I eventually sought a second opinion and upon new x-rays being taken it was very obvious to the new dentist that the fillings were very poorly executed. There was excess bonding agent and air bubbles in between the composite and the tooth on one causing it to shift against my nerve, and the other had insignificant composite density causing leakage and nerve pain. I had them replaced today with significantly less procedure pain and already I can finally eat pain free again. The kicker is that my insurance only covers two fillings per year so I had to pay out of pocket for the replacement fillings at the new dentist.

Dr. Patel is great, very friendly, and helpful. Going to the dentist is not fun but he and his team make the experience as good as going to the dentist can be. Highly recommend.

Great experience! I am a person who dislikes going to the dentist but Dr. Patel was awesome very gentle and numbed me up so I didn't feel anything during my deep cleaning. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good dentist.
