Dr. Zia Rizvi is passionate about the care, satisfaction, and comfort of his patients, and helping them overcome any anxiety that is commonly associated with the dental office. Nothing gives him more satisfaction than seeing a patient leave his office with a beautiful healthy smile, full of confidence and security.

Dr. Rizvi loves developing long-lasting relationships with his patients and their families, and serving the community in which he practices. As he has been in the Ashburn area for many years, Dr. Rizvi has had the privilege and honor of getting to know and treating family members from the youngest to the oldest. Knowing that he is able to make their lives better with the work he does is his greatest joy.

Dr. Rizvi is a graduate of the prestigiousGuys Dental Hospitalin London and earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at theUniversity of Maryland Dental School, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for 20years and has been through several extensive post-graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his dental degree.

Dr. Rizvi loves dentistry and this has let him to complete extensive post-graduate education in hospital-based dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, precision guided implant surgery, smile design for cosmetic dentistry, and the latest CAD/CAM technological advances that have transformed dentistry today. Dr. Rizvi is also one of a few dentists that are skilled and experienced enough to perform implant surgeries as well as complicated extractions. His emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Continuing education is vital to quality patient care, and that is Dr. Rizvis number-one priority.

Dr. Rizvi grew up in South London, Stretham, UK and moved to the US in 2006. When hes not working, Dr. Rizvi is almost always with his family. They love to spend time hiking, going to DC, canoeing, fishing, and bike riding. Dr. Rizvi can speak several languages, namely Urdu, Hindi, Farsi, some Gujrati, French, and Spanish.

Dr. Rizvi is also dedicated to his community. He often treats low-income families who do not have dental insurance and are in dire need of dental treatment. He also belongs to IMAMIA medics, a non-profit organization that provides medical and dental services in areas of need. It gives him great pleasure to be able to utilize the skills he has as a dental professional to help community members in need.

Dr. Beri received her masters degree in oral biology with a focus on research of the salivary protein and Candida albicans from Boston University in Massachusetts. She went on to complete her specialty training in periodontics and implants at Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Beri was also a clinical instructor for preclinical periodontics at the university.

At Ashburn Dental Care, Dr. Beri specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease. She informs her patients about the importance of oral health, provides clear explanations, and offers various proven treatment options.

Dr. Poe grew up in Charlotte, NC, and received his Bachelors Degree from the Virginia Military Institute. He took part in an extensive Spanish immersion program in Bolivia while attending VMI. Upon graduation from VMI, Dr. Poe returned to Charlotte where he worked for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

In 2004, Dr. Poe left law enforcement to pursue a career in chiropractic. He attended the Parker University in Dallas, TX, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic. While attending Parker University he was selected to participate in a chiropractic residency internship abroad in Mexico City, Mexico and was responsible for treating patients at public clinics and hospitals and was present to assist in spinal procedures. Dr. Poe has a working knowledge of the Spanish language and culture due to his experience living in Mexico and Bolivia.

After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, Dr. Poe worked for eight years at the Roselle Center for Healing in Fairfax, VA. Therehe was a regular co-host of the Sunday radio program, Dr. Tom Roselle Live. Dr. Poe was also featured in the Emmy nominated television special, Ageless Health.

Dr. Poe has been committed to the use of Functional Medicine, including Neurology, Endocrinology and Immunology in his approach to the treatment of patients. He is certified as a Professional Applied Kinesiologist and served on the Board of Directors for the International College of Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Poe includes chiropractic, physiotherapy, nutrition and acupuncture philosophy in the treatment of his patients to continually improve their health and wellness. To stay up to date with all the current medical information and techniques Dr. Poe frequently participates in continuing education seminars and is currently working toward advanced certifications in nutrition, neurology and acupuncture.

My name is Aruna Marthi and I did my Masters in Finance and Business Administration. I have been a patient of Dr. Rizvi since 2015. I joined Ashburn Dental Care in February 2020 as an Office Manager. I enjoy interacting and building relationships with our patients. My priority is to ensure that all our patients have a wonderful experience and all their dental needs are met.
