I am a new resident in north Texas and researched dental services in the McKinney area. I was impressed with the Ascent Dental office. I was able to book an appointment easily. Their office and equipment is modern and the staff very competent. Dr. Chang is knowledgeable and very personable. I am now on a good schedule for my dental health. Highly recommended.

They give 5 dollar gift cards if you leave a 5 star review the waiting room is nice but I will never come here again this dentist messed up me and my whole family teeth none of us can chew crunchy things anymore last time I wanted to check on my son and the nice lady in the front let me take a peek in the back and the dentist guy got mad and got on to her for it which is Suspicious to me

Dr. Chang is top notch! My husband and I both changed from a dentist and we both love him! The entire staff is top notch, professional, clean, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Need search no more! Dr. Cheng is and will be our family Dentist forever! He is very friendly, professional, knowledgeble, not pushy, just a great Dentist you'll ever looking for! Throughly explaining to you what needs to the done, up front about fees, work with your needs and concerns. On time! I will bring my entire family sees him, including my two 3 and 6 yrs old boys. The office is very kids friendly.

Update; My grandson is 9 and it's always a happy visit.......Clean kid friendly office. Lovely kind staff members and the dentist is great! My 7 year grandson had a visit and he said " I'm fine granny it was just a mosquito bite in my mouth." He had quite a bit of work done. His follow up visit was yesterday and he walked right in like a big boy. He is always so happy to go to the dentist now. I made an adult appointment and I was treated with great care. I love this new dentist office. I will return for all follow ups!

Very knowledgeable doctor. Very friendly staff. They also clearly review options and pricing BEFORE starting anything so I can prioritize services and procedures more effectively and I know what to expect on payment side.

I spent weeks searching high and low across all of McKinney, Frisco, Allen and Plano looking for a Dentist that was in my network and had great reviews. When I found Ascent Dental, I didn't realize what I thought was going to be a quick fix was going to become my Dentist office going forward. The office staff is so nice and so helpful and Dentist Daniel Chang is absolutely the most caring and thorough dentist I've ever met. Makes going to the dentist not dreadful. If you're looking for a new Dental office I definitely recommend Ascent Dental.

I'm writing this in hopes that it saves someone else time and money. I visited Ascent Dental in 2021. The staff was very friendly though the appointment was very long. After the techs took scans of my teeth, Dr. Chang looked at my teeth for about 20 seconds and told me that I was pre-gum disease, needed multiple fillings and dental scaling. As a young adult who went to the dentist every 6 months for my entire life this was a huge surprise. They took me into an office where they had me watch a Youtube video about scaling. Then they drew up a long treatment plan for me, most of which my great dental insurance didn't cover. They told me they could start the treatments that day. I went with my gut and declined treatment. I left and got a second opinion and that dentist laughed out loud at their prognosis. I was so shocked that a business with RAVE reviews would feel like a scam. Beware: they hand you a target gift card when you leave and ask you to leave a google review. Giving two stars because at least the staff members were friendly.

Very nice staff members, beautiful dental office. It has all of the amenities kids would need to keep them occupied while waiting to be seen. First time there but not our last. Great experience! Great job guys we'll be back soon

It's a great experience for my children every time we come for their dental visit. The staff are very friendly, and professional. Dr. Chang is very patient with my children. He makes sure to explain what he's going to do and advises me of how to care for my children's smiles at home. My children absolutely love the at home feeling as soon as we walk in you see Spider-Man to the right and a movie theatre! YES! A movie theatre as well as video game systems to play while you wait. I'd recommend this place to anyone! 5/5 stars for sure!

I'm very impressed with the way they practice the business. Frist they would contact your insurance company and understand the coverage before your doctor's appointment. At the clinic, the doctor would examine your dental condition in the front section of the clinic and consult you the best treatment plan. Then they would give you a clear picture regarding your financial responsibility. Once the agreement is set between you and the doctor, then you would proceed to the operation room in the back. Whole process is professional, honest, efficient and kind.
