Hello! My name is Dr. Gaylen Asay. I had the privilege of growing up on our family's farm in Lovell, Wyoming, learning first hand the value of hard work, honesty and community service. While it was not always easy, it was a childhood full of love and experiences that inevitably helped to shape the career, the man and the doctor that I am today.
So, after completing my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and moved my journey back to Utah to serve the people I had become so close to.
I then decided to plant roots in Davis County, buying not only a home, but also a dental practice and for the last 30 plus years I have loved every moment of treating patients in my own community. Taking part in improving and maintaining many of the smiles that I get to see everyday, in all facets of my life.
The field of dentistry is constantly evolving and I have dedicated to evolving with it. Through continuing education efforts, upgrading our offices to incorporate the most current techniques and technologies and through building a team of extraordinary talent around me, I have tried to ensure that we at Asay Dentistry provide each patient with the best treatment possible.

Came into his office to a appointment I thought I had ... but silly me I made the appointment to the wrong place .. I called dr asay in springville... no one was there besides me and a very nice lady at the desk... she informed me of my mistake ...and I said I'd gladly make a appointment for next week or anything the had available ... she said let me call him first ... and you know how awesome this man is ... he came in and fixed my broken tooth on his day off... no dental assistant ... had to get up over and over to grab stuff but did it all with a smile ... he did a amazing job fixing the tooth and it was as pain free as could be....best dental experience I've ever had in my life... and from now on as long as I live in the area he will be my dentist Thanks Again

Went to get a second opinion and SO GLAD I did! Staff and Dr. Asay were so kind, explained everything clearly and were super detailed! Update: I got a root canal and they were fantastic to work with. I don't goto the dentist alot so getting the procedure was really nerve wracking- they really made me comfortable and put me at ease.

I have grown up going to Dr. Asay, and he has always been there for me and my family's dental needs. Him and his staff are very efficient at what they do. They also are so friendly and hard working. They are always so good to listen to concerns and diagnose the best possible solution. Highly recommend to anyone!

Awesome dentist, everyone in the office is very friendly. I have really bad anxiety, but they were so patient with me, and made me feel comfortable and calm. I had a cavity fixed, and Dr. Asay was super gentle, I wasn't even sore the day afterwards! The best dentist I've ever been to.

I know the dentist is not usually a great experience, but this is as good as it gets. Fast and friendly with modern technology to make it a bit more quick and painless. Dr. Asay is great and Lindsay is a great technician. Best of all, they do not try to talk me into extra things or charge me for services I don't need.

Dr.Asay always does a great job and is always patient. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to dental work and Dr.Asay takes things slow with me and always makes sure I'm numb enough before we start anything. He is awesome! His staff is great too!

The doctor and his nurse are so nice.but unfortunately the receptionist is not. Doesn't make any eye contact when talking to her and always cut me off when i am talking to her.

I would highly recommend anyone here. Service was quick, gentle, thorough and friendly. The art "theme," for lack of a better word, was incredibly charming and memorable and made the experience fun.

I didn't have a good experience with Dentists growing up; but going to Dr Asay's office is like spending time with friends. I really enjoy visiting with the office staff, hygienist, and Dr Asay every 6 months for my annual checkup. When I need more than just a cleaning, Dr Asay does a great job at fixing the problem too.
