Your childs health is just as important to me as my own childrens, and oral care is a vital part of their overall health care. I believe in preventative practices for your childs health, and this care should start from a young age. Regular cleanings and check ups ensure that your child is getting the oral care they need. I look forward to meeting your child and teaching them healthy practices that will last a lifetime.

I want to give DR. K a 5 star rating. She has been wonderful, kind and patient to all 3 of my kids. My oldest has been going to see her since 2 and had to have a lot of work done through these couple years and we have been working through his fever of going and every time we go he gets better and better and now he loves it. My middle child has Asperger's and she is very patient with him and he loves her and is very comfortable being with her. My daughter who is 16 months has seen Dr. K 3 times now and she is so gentle with her. I also love Dr. K because she not only makes my children feel loved and comfortable there but she also makes sure I am ok with everything. I will definitely recommend Arundel pediatric dental Care to everyone.

My children have been patients of Dr. K's at Arundel Pediatric Dental Care since 2015. They have always received excellent, compassionate care from Dr. K and her staff. Dr. K is always calm, caring, and friendly, and so good with children. Thank you, Dr. K!

I was happy to find this dentist years ago when my daughter needed some baby teeth taken care of. Dr K was so great with my daughter and the females at the front desk were a little more knowledgeable and friendly. However the last couple times going here were a complete joke, the females at the front desk are not friendly at all and can't manage appointments if their lives depended on it. We waited over an hour after our appointment time to be called back and taken to the room all the way in the very back. The room wasn't pleasant at all and the dental hygienist wasn't exactly kid friendly, she was very rough with my daughter causing her to be scared and to cry. After the hygienist did a half a** job barely polishing my daughter's teeth she went out of the room and we waited for over a half hour for Dr.,K. Dr.K wasn't nice at all and we were made to feel like we were a huge inconvenience for her. I felt that she rushed, didn't give us that time to actually thoroughly look over my daughter's mouth. Needless to say we won't be returning.

I gave them 2 stars ONLY because they were patient with my child while doing the Xray, which my child is pretty scared to get done. But I was informed at that original evaluation appointment that the parents are not allowed in the room with their child while they get their work done (fillings, crowns, etc.). They have to sit outside the room. They actually didn't tell me, but they told my child while explaining to them how their next appointment would go. "Mommy is going to sit outside the room." Based on the other reviews of people being charged for work that wasn't done/random charges and extra work being done without consent, that's a huge red flag to me. When I called before the original evaluation appointment and after, they said someone would call back within 30 minutes and no one ever calls back. Specifically, I called to say that I'd love for my child to get their work done ASAP because they need it but my child won't have their work done there if I'm not allowed in the room with them. They said they would ask if they could "break protocol" and call me back. No call back. And maybe that's for the best. Seems shady not to allow parents in the room with their children while dental work is done. It's totally unnecessary and something I've never experienced anywhere .. even as a child myself. And when I asked why, the person scheduling had no direct answer about why, just that "only the dentist and the dental technician are allowed in the room". That was the response.

My daughter has a broken tooth and is in pain. I attempted repeatedly to schedule an appointment with their office all day. Their receptionist refused to return my phone calls, lost information that I had EMAILED them and had overall TERRIBLE customer communication. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!

Welcoming and safe environment for the whole family. My five and three-year-old enjoy receiving the special surprise and toothbrush at the end of each visit.

It took over 2 hours for a 2yr old to have a routine cleaning because of poor management with scheduling which I have heard similar complaints from other parents so this is not just happening to us. Somehow they still had my son's name wrong in their system after 2yrs of going there. On one occasion they started talking about another child's insurance to me even though I had just told them my child's name and they have sent out 4 reminder cards that none of them had my child's name but other children. I would not recommend this practice. Edit: they do not inform you of how far they are behind at all. This is a straight out lie in their response to my post. I have called them out on it and have asked several other parents.

Expensive. Felt unnecessary expensive options were pushed. Last straw was when was told child had a cavity. Something seemed off so I went to 2 other dentists recommended. I paid out of pocket as insurance wouldn't cover more visits however it was worth it. Both dentists felt that he did not have a cavity and did not need a filling. Needless to say not a patient anymore.

first off, both my kids were schedule in September, and the lady called me and told me Dr. K won't make it in cause of family emergency and she had to reschedule them, which is fine. So she schedule them 2nd week of October after 12:30 pm. The day I came in to sign in for both my boys they told me I wasn't in their schedule, and I told them someone had reschedule me for that day, so after waiting 20 mins or so the lady that reschedule came out and told me that it was her fault she forgot to put it in the book, but had it written down elsewhere and that they cant take them in that day cause they'r booked!! OKAYY?!?! so I told her I will call and schedule another time. So basically I had my day planned for that and wasted my time because of someone else's error. luckily i only live 10 mins away not far at all. BOTH MY BOYS WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE AT ALL, AND THEY WILL GO ELSEWHERE!!!! One of the lady there was kind of rude anyways. I do not recommend this place if i could give it no stars i would. Edit as of 3/10/2021 I don't know how to respond to them that just responded back today, but that incident was 3 years ago! I have found another wonderful pediatric dental for my boys! And they claim they can't find "patient of records" because this account is under my name and my kids are way underage. They think that I'll just put their name out there. Well like I said they won't be going back and haven't done so in 3 years!

If I could leave zero stars I would but unfortunately that isn't an option. If you want your child to have a positive association with the dentist lasting into adulthood, this place isn't what you're looking for. If you want your child to be scarred for life then this is definitely the place for you. Their claims of easing worries and anxieties associated with the dentist and being patient with their patient's couldn't be farther from the truth. My son was very forcefully held down by two people so that a cavity could be filled after I was told it was "unfortunate" that the laughing gas didn't appear to work on him. Instead of looking for an alternate method, Dr. K and her two assistants appeared nothing but frustrated and impatient with my son and sought the fastest way to be through the procedure even though myself and my son were clearly uncomfortable. We will be finding another dentist and will be warning other families to stay far away from this horrid place. Edit: Not even a month later and the filling came out. Solid work, Dr. K. Solid work! Edit 2: The business responded and said they couldn't verify me as a patient of record. That makes sense seeing as I'm an adult and this is for pediatric dental care. I'll be sure to ask my 4 year old to leave his own review next time.

It's truly a shame there are ANY negative reviews listed here - as Dr. K and her team of just the sweetest ladies have stolen our hearts since the beginning! I have been searching for a dentist to see specifically my daughter on an emergent basis, since March of 2021. The floor is lava made the worst of my daughters teeth, and after two separate dental offices shrugging off the importance of her not only broken, but unfortunately extremely decayed teeth, we finally found Dr.K. The staff made special circumstances for Maisie, and likely saw her much earlier than we normally would have with any other office. I cannot stress the importance of creating excitement for our children in a potentially scary Drs visit. As a new patient, Dr K and staff sent a very detailed video of their premises, where we virtually met Dr K in her normal day to day attire, not in full PPE. She walks us through each themed room, again creating excitement and providing a quick view of the services that could be performed in each room. Both of my children watched her video on multiple occasions before our first visit, ultimately setting them up for having FUN at Dr Ks! Our first visit, both my son Sean and Maisie were able to visit together. Their hygienists went right in and started cleaning away. If your following - Maisie has the teeth a Dr SHOULD question. Unfortunately, genetics have not treated her well. Aside from feeling anxious both children would not be happy during their routine cleaning, as a mother, I feared the worst when it came to our conversation about the condition of Maisies teeth. Dr K did not offer an ounce of scolding towards her condition, and wanted nothing more than to make her teeth beautiful and healthy again. With that, my son Sean needed to have a crown placed, and she was able to take him back and have him in and out without a single tear shed. Maisie's first visit out of 6 to repair her teeth was today. Maisie, is three! Not only do I personally feel confident to totally leave building while my children are in her care and under anesthesia, but never in my wildest dreams did I think she could sit for so long, continue to hold her mouth open, and have some pretty decent work done. Please advise, tears were indeed shed this time. In fact, my heart started to race just a little as we neared the end. I peeked in and caught Dr K giving her love pats and tear wipes during her quick break, had her sitting up to just breathe and refocus herself. She is so full of positive affirmations! "You are so brave! I am so proud of you!" are just a few you can expect to over hear her share with your child. All in all, do not hesitate to bring your child to spend time with Dr K and her staff. We are over the moon, every time we visit. I have never felt so confident in a choice and I am just so glad we landed in the right spot! Sean and Maisie look forward to visiting for as long as we can. Thank you so much to the entire team for making us feel like we are right at home!!! -Sean and Maisies Mom.

I had an appointment scheduled here for today at 11:30 am. I was taken into a back room and told to wait for the dentist. 1 pm came around and there was nobody to be found. I left school for this and for what? nothing.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!! Today, I was notified by Credit Karma that Arundel Pediatric Dental Care sent a $55 balance to collections. I was never notified that I had a balance, never received a bill or a past due notice. I tried contacting the office but you can't call and talk to a real person. You have to leave a voice message a wait for a response. So far, no response to my messages. Credit score dropped over 20 points. Update 4/28/21: A day after submitting my review, I got a call from APDC. They assured me that the bill should not have gone to collections and they would contact their third-party billing company to get this straightened out. It's been over two weeks. I got a call two days ago from the collection agency asking me for payment! Based on office managers comments, I am not the only person dealing with this. I still have not gotten a bill or invoice explaining what the $55 balance is from... Had I ever received a bill from APDC, I would have paid it. Update 5/21/21: Just got a call from the office manager. They contacted the collection company to remove the debt. They resubmitted the bill to my insurance but they declined to pay. I asked if the office would just forgive the debt since they put me through the ringer with this mess. Nope, they expect me to pay them the $55. I still have not received a bill or invoice. Thus far, my credit score has dropped 30 points because APDC's poor business practices. Update 6/23/21: Today, notified by Experian that I have an account in collections....same account. Credit score dropped 25 points. Still have not received a bill from APDC. I've called multiple times. No return calls from the office manager. Aside from this unresolved billing issue, we never had a good experience when visiting this office. We always had to wait well beyond our appointment times. Also, the waiting room is gross.
