Dr. Anthony Nguyen was born and raised in the South Bay. He is excited to announce his return to the South Bay community at his new state of the art practice, ARTSCI Dentalrevolutionizing the dental experience one patient at a time. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Detroit Mercy. He went on to complete his postdoctoral residency at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center where he had advanced training in prosthodontics and surgical techniques. Currently, Dr. Nguyen mentors pre and post doctoral students in minimally invasive restorative techniques and implant dentistry as a faculty at UCLA in the Division of Restorative Dentistry. He also contributes to the success and learning of dentists across the country as a Digital Advisory Board Member for SPEAR education.
I want to give dental care a face lift, a crafted patient centric experience that is inviting, relaxing, and full of technology. The high open ceilings paired with the glass and wood accents will make you second guess whether or not youre in a coffee shop. We might even have a cold brew for you as youre greeted by our friendly team. Upon meeting the amazing staff, theyll guide you through the process of an exam by taking digital records with the latest digital technology including use of the optical scanner and possible 3D x-rays (if needed). I practice minimally invasive dentistry with a Biomimetic approach. The belief that your own tooth structure is the best material for you can have. If one's tooth structure needs to be replaced due to extensive damage due to decay or trauma, it is best replaced with materials that mimics the strength and flexure of your own natural tooth structure. Being able to use modern technology and materials, the biomechanics we can achieve will optimize the longevity, function, and aesthetics of our patients dentition.
We utilize the latest technology in lasers, digital & 3D radiography, photography, and optical scanning. Leveraging our technology, were able to design, simulate and collaborate with our laboratory to ensure high quality and predictable prosthetic and surgical results.
Holistically, your mouth is not separate from the rest of your body. I am passionate about oral health because I believe the mouth is the window to ones overall health. Afterall, the nourishment we receive begins in the oral cavity. The food we eat is determined by the health of our gums and dentition. It is slowly being uncovered with new research the importance of our oral bacterial flora and overall wellness. There are strong correlations with poor oral health leading to Alzhimiers/dementia and cardiac morbidities. My goal is fo my team to be an oral health coach, trainer, and cheerleader for my patients throughout their life.
I want my patients to feel that they are being cared for in their dental home. I want to be approachable and available to patients for whatever and whenever they are seeking dental help. The ARTSCI team is vetted and hand selected based on their care, compassion and community outreach.
When Dr. Nguyen was young, he was interested in two things: skateboarding and dentistry. As it turns out, one of those interests became a fulfilling career. During high school, he became friends with his family dentist, who let him shadow treatment at his office. Eventually, Dr. Nguyen went on to earn his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.After he graduated Magna Cum Laude, he completed post-graduate training at UCLA School of Dentistry General Practice Residency/Special Patient Care.Dr. Nguyen is excited to open his own practice in Redondo Beach, where he can curate an elevated patient experience and deliver quality care in a comfortable environment.

This place is so high-tech, clean, and overall aesthetically pleasing. The staff are well versed and highly knowledgeable. We had Brooke assisting; she was extremely bubbly and helpful. She helped ease both my son and I's dental anxiety. If you haven't been to the dentist in years just because, or out of fear, the artsci team should be your first stop to getting back on top of your dental hygiene :))

This is the apple or Tesla of dental offices! The vibe is fun and modern, from the overall aesthetic to the friendly staff. I hate the scrapping that comes with regular cleanings; I just had the most comfortable cleaning of my life. My dental assistant, Brooke, did a good job describing all the high tech gadgets relieving anxiety and actually making me excited for my next cleaning. This is going to be my new office for years to come!

Such a great experience from the beginning the staff and the Dentist!! Very professional but fun and Dr. Ngyuen very knowledgeable and explained things so kindly but yet cool! They made me feel welcomed! The office is really Artsci just like the Name, very high tech and very clean! I got to choose my favorite music and was offered water such a cool and upscale environment with good vibes! I highly am recommending this place to all I know!!! Artsci Dental Rock's!!!!

I found this dentist office on Yelp so I called and set up my appointment. They sent me the paperwork on my cell phone so I didn't have to wait when I got there. Brooke was amazing and kept me engaged the entire time and I was very impressed by her. You can clearly see she loves what she's doing. My teeth were so stained and they did not bat an eye. They all made me feel comfortable and set up a game plan to help in my battle with my teeth. The Dr used his secret sauce lol to get rid of stubborn stains and my teeth came out excellent and pearly. I will definitely be going back to them and if you haven't please do so (not a paid ad). They were just awesome

It should not shock you that dentists have the highest suicide rate of all the professional classes. Nobody likes going to the dentist & since they infrequently teach cognitive liberty at dental collage & student loans are punitive in this country, most dentist's suffering self loathing makes perfect sense. But this dentist has just been elected mayor of my mouth. No! Regent for life of the colony ORIS. Oh yeah! Doctor painless of Redondo is not only cool, talented & charming, but he has the equivalent hand talent of Itzhak Perlman playing Vivaldi on a low dose of valerian root. Cool baby. Also the office is super bitchin' w easy parking & good music. Then there is Dana! Ahh Dana the office manager of Don Draper's introspective self inflating dreams. How you are adored. Truly never been more excited to go to the dentist! This is an all around incredible place - friendly and welcoming staff, patient and knowledgeable doctor, and an all around fun vibe. Before I found this place if you had asked me, "would you ever describe a dentist office as "fun"", and "could you ever imagine yourself being "excited" to go to the dentist"? I would have told you to simply get out. I have always hated the dentist and found it to be uncomfortable, cold and generally terrifying. But there is something about artsci that just makes me feel so incredibly comfortable, that each time I go I find myself booking appointments for things I never even thought I would try because I seriously hated being at the dentist so much before. I have had a cleaning & x-ray done and found this to be a super easy pleasant experience. I liked that they talked me through the whole process and I could even see how weird teeth look in pictures. I came back and got botox for TMJ and have truly found that to be one of the most life changing experiences - I'm sleeping better, less headaches, generally more pleasant to be around because I'm not painfully stress grinding my teeth into oblivion all day and night. This was a super quick and painless process and I will be going back regularly to keep this up. Then I went back for a teeth whitening and can I just say I felt like a movie star when I left! Who knew that white teeth could really make such a huge difference. I'm converted! Will definitely be making that an annual thing. Every time I've gone I have found everyone to be so incredibly friendly and informative. They talk you through every process and really make sure you feel comfortable and understand what they're doing. Shout out to Dana, Kelly, Lily and Dr. Nguyen for changing how I feel about the dentist and making me feel like I can finally have the teeth I want!

I had the best experience at ARTSCI Dental! I called and got manager Dana Phillips who was awesome in helping me get in and get what I needed. The staff at ARTSCI are all so kind and helpful. The music is vibey and the space is super cool. Dr Anthony made me feel so comfortable with my service. I can't recommend this place enough!

Professional, kind, and sincere people! The place has energy great, environment well kept, and everything is new and up to date! If there's any more dental work I need this is the place I'm coming to, as it's straightforward and painless! I wish more dental offices took note!!!! Dana is great, straightforward, and treats everybody with the utmost care (she fed me bc I was running late and didn't eat after my shift before heading over). Lily, I think, the receptionist has a beautiful smile, made the signing in easy! Kelly is great too, soft spoken, and will take the time to see that everything surpasses your standards. Andddd then we have Dr. Nguyen, knowledgeable, professional, and put me at ease which is hard to do bc I've always had bad experiences with dentists... I've never been to a dentist where literally EVERY person comes in and checks on you, makes sure you're okay, puts you at ease, makes the process painless, and answers any questions you might have. The team here is top notch, bravo to whoever did the hiring!

Had a great experience at Artsci Dental. Dana was very helpful with helping me schedule my appointments. I had my teeth whitened and got amazing results. The vibe of the office is really nice and everything feels innovative and new!

I was not expecting such a GREAT experience! When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Dana (office manager). Dana made me feel welcome and I could easily recognize that she loved her job and actually cared. The office was very new age and an overall really good vibe. This is not the dentist office you are used to. Large flat screens in each room where the staff asked what I wanted to watch or listen to. I watched a documentary on raccoons and learned a lot. Dr. Nguyen was extremely friendly and made me feel that he cared for my dental health and appearance. Give this place a try! This place is doing it right. Looking forward to my next dentist appointment believe it or not.

Moved back to the area and finding a dentist is always a pain, luckily I found ARTSCI. Super friendly staff, cleaning was super well done and informative and they treat you like family. Couldn't speak more highly of this place.
