Originally from Bilbao, Spain, I have been residing in Miami since 1987. I was firstintroduced to the dental field while working in my grandfathers dental lab everysummer in Spain. This has made me become very detail-oriented and enjoy workingwith my hands to create intricate dental restorations. In addition, I have alwaysexcelled in the sciences as a high school student, and thus dentistry soon became agreat opportunity to combine my talents with a chance to become my own boss.
Upon graduation from Christopher Columbus High School, I studied at theUniversity of Michigan, subsequently earning a Bachelors degree in psychology andpre-dentistry in 1995. I then went on to achieve a Doctor of Dental Medicine at theUniversity of Florida College of Dentistry in 1999. I have also spent several yearsworking as an associate at other dental offices, obtaining further knowledge andexperience prior to establishing my own practice in 2002.
As a Miami dental healthcare professional, I believe it is important to remain a lifelong learner. Ihave taken extensive post-graduate courses in various dental specialties, whichincluded endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Every year, I attend avariety of continuing education seminars and meetings in order to be aware of and beable to provide the finest dental treatment options available to patients.
I joined the team in 2008 and, as a people person, my favorite part has been theinteraction with our patients. I also enjoy the hands-on work with the variety oftreatments available at our dental office.

I've been going to Artistic Smiles for almost 18 years and Tay has always been my hygienist. She is amazing. My daughter started with her as well since she was 2 years old. We absolutely love Tay and the office. Dr. Yon is also great and has a fantastic staff. You all rock!! Thank you for everything.

Tay is an amazing dental hygienist! She does a wonderful job and has a lovely personality. It is always a pleasure to see her. Dr Yon is also amazing at his work. A true professional at heart! I have been coming to this office for 8 years with my entire family and wouldn't change them for the world.

I genuinely say that Dr. Yon Elejabarrieta is an amazing dentist. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. You can clearly see he loves what he does and that he is there to help all patients. Besides being an excellent dentists, he is extremely fair with prices. If you go see Dr. Yon Elejabarrieta, I can guarantee you are in great hands. I cannot recommend him enough!

Looking for a phenomenal dentist office? You've found it! Dr. Yon and his team are I've never had to wait long to be seen for an appointment, they've always kept me informed on my dental health, and they honestly care about their patients. To put it in perspective I live in Miami Beach where there are hundreds of dentists but I travel all the way to sunset for Artistic Smiles. Call them, make an appointment; you won't regret it!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Yon and his staff. Dr Yon is amazing! He is so gentle and constantly checks on you while he is working on you which I find super comforting because let's face it going to the dentist is nerve wracking. He also is a magician when it comes to numbing you because you literally feel nothing when he injects you. His staff is awesome and put you at ease at every visit. I am super happy that I found them when I did and have been for 7 years and counting

First of all I don't like dentist because I had so many bad experiences, I needed a surgery to replace a tooth and somebody recommend Artistic Smiles to my wife. I came without reluctance and expecting the worst. But I was wrong, I'm 110% pleased I did not feel pain at all and I left smiling. It is an impressive professional team, and although I do not like to make recommendations but I will make an exception with them... I recommend Artistic Smiles 100%

I had my usual cleaning and I swear Dr. Yon is the most honest dentist I've visited. He's not money hungry! Most dentists tell you a deep cleaning is needed when it's not. He's professional and friendly as well as his staff. Such a pleasure!!
