His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and all treatment options. I am proud to provide my patients with the highest standards in dentistry, treatment options, and patient comfort. I am very detail-oriented by nature and fully use this in my profession. It is my pleasure to address all your questions and concerns.

Dr. Bassas is board certified in prosthodontics as well as oral implantology/implant dentistry. He is among only a handful of prosthodontists in the United States who completed dual residency and training in oral surgery and prosthodontics, which makes him highly and uniquely qualified in both placing and restoring dental implants.

In addition, Dr. Bassas is specially trained and licensed to offer IV sedation for the comfort of all patients who desire this service. He performs hundreds of implant and bone graft procedures per year, which has made him a leading expert in the field. His concern, enthusiasm, and passion for implant dentistry set him apart from many of his peers.

He has been living in Minnesota and practicing dentistry there since 2003. He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Prosthodontics (2017) and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) (2009). When Dr. Bassas obtained his diplomate status in 2009; only 359 dentists in the United States have passed this rigorous board certification process since 1969. This honorable title makes him well qualified for all dental implant and bone grafting procedures. Dr. Bassas also holds the title of master in the College of Sedation in Dentistry.

Dr. Bassas received his doctor of dental surgery degree from Aleppo University School of Dentistry in 1998, where he ranked first in his class. He then completed an oral surgery residency and graduate studies at Damascus University, where he also served as chief of residents.

Because of his special interests in implants and aesthetic dentistry, he completed the maxicourse in oral implantology at New York University as well as the postgraduate program in esthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Bassas started in 2003 as an associate dentist at Health Partners Dental in St. Cloud prior to opening his private practice in Sartell in 2006. Despite all the extra training, knowledge, and experience he had gained practicing oral surgery, implant, and restorative dentistry for 15 years, his enthusiasm and interest for more intense education and expertise pushed him to go back to school. He attended the prestigious program of Advanced Education in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Bassas, his wife Rihab and their son, Aboud (18) and daughters Sarah (12), Leena (9) and Jenna (4) have been living in Minnesota since 2003. They love the family-friendly atmosphere and warmth of the community. His favorite activities include bicycling, soccer, swimming, and traveling. He also enjoys history, architecture, and music. Ive visited many states in the US, he says, but to be honest, Minnesotans are truly warm-hearted and friendly. It is a great place to work, live, and raise a family.

Let's start with the basics. Clean and welcoming reception area. Never cramped or overfilled which is nice. The staff is friendly yet a bit overwhelmed. Overall it is what you would expect for a dental office. Next, I have been visiting this office for about 3 years now for basic cleaning and the occasional cavity filled. As far as basic servicing goes the dentist is great. The hygienists are friendly and efficient. My favorite part of my experience here is that when I do get cavities filled I barely even notice that they gave me a shot of Novocain! I have had horrible experiences at other places of dentist numbing the wrong area or being short and cold in their interactions. Both dentists I have had have been positive and great at what they do!

I had an appointment scheduled to have a few cavities fixed. It got really bad a few weeks before my appointment so they were able to get me in the day after I called about tooth pain. I arrived there a half hour earlier then I was suppose to be there and the receptionist said she called me earlier that day to tell me to be there 2 hours earlier. I had not recieved any phone calls or voice mails that day, and I was at work up until I left to head to the dentist. The dental tech then came out. The receptionist told me the dentist had to leave early since there was a snow storm coming. She proceeded to tell the dental tech that she had talked to me on the phone. That was not true. I never once talked to her that day and if I had known I could have gotten in earlier I would have. She then asked if I could come in a week later. I said no way! My tooth was killing me, I'll just find a new dentist. What a joke. After reading the rest of these reviews, I'm glad I didn't get my teeth worked on there!

Staff is very friendly and I loved the dental hygienist. However the dentists there are like a revolving door. Every 6 months I go there it is a new one with different recommendations/findings. Last one I had filled a cavity that he said had been there for 4 years. He said all the previous dentists didn't know what they were doing. After it was filled I had to go back to have it filed down. I still have pain in it 8 months later. I've since left Artistic Smile.

Few weeks ago, I was seen by a woman dentist at artistic smile for an exam. First of all, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The office setting is really nice. The doctor took a lot of time to talk to me and put me at ease explaining the procedures that I needed She did not pressure me at all to do the treatment. I am losing a broken tooth and we talked about all the options to replace it after the extraction. She explained in details about having a bridge or an implant and a crown. Their fees are pretty good compared to other places. I'm usually scared of going to the dentist...They said something about sedation for the surgery. I'm looking into it. OveralI, I had a very pleasant experience and I recommend them.

First off I had an inspection of a tooth that needed to be filled. They immediately said that my gums were so bad that I should set up an appt to get my gums graphted from the roof of my mouth. My gums were about like anyone else's and this seemed severe and I got 2 other opinions and both said it was not that extreme. I proceeded to then get the filling done. With the acid and scraping it was hard to talk but a cotton ball was slowly slipping to the back of my throat and no one noticed. It did then and I had to make a loud noise and hack it out since it was stuck in my throat. It gets better. Then I leave after the work was done and I still have pain there. The dentist although nice didn't even fix the problem fully. And the worst part was I was given a flouride toothpaste prescription. And it was SOMEONE ELSES PRESRIPTION!!! Coborns caught it luckily but wow. Just overall very unprofessional. Will go somewhere that fixes pain and knows who is who when giving prescriptions. 1 star

Friendly office staff (although seem overwhelmed), fantastic dental hygienist. However, when I went I believe they had hired a new dentist--went to this dentist to have some restoration work done. I just had to have ALL his work redone at a new place because of the poor quality--very expensive. I actually received two outside opinions on this to make sure I really needed to have the work redone and both agreed. I tried to have the work redone by the regular dentist at artistic smile and he did not have any appointments open (for the foreseeable future) except Saturdays which did not work for me. This wasn't the first time I couldn't get an appointment schedule either.
