Dr. Vanstrom has been on CNN, NBC, and ABC as a dental expert and served as a consultant for the CNN medical team for many years. Currently, Dr. Vanstrom is the Georgia Course Director for Hiossen Dental Implants as well as contributing lecturer and spokesperson for Curaprox USA. He has lectured to other dental professionals on dental practice management, non-surgical periodontal care, oral cancer, and laser dental care. He has lectured in the US, Canada, and Great Britain since 2001.
Dr. Vanstrom and his lovely bride Betty have two beautiful girls. When not creating healthy, happy smiles or lecturing around the country, Dr. Vanstrom enjoys golf, tennis, scuba diving, and cooking on his grill. We look forward to serving all of your dental needs.
Kathleen R. Fadler, DMDis a native of Alpharetta, GA and a graduate of Milton High School. Dr. Fadler went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in French. Prior to attending the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta she spent a year working at Walt Disney World in both Disneys Animal Kingdom and the Disney Youth Education Series program as an Educator.
During Dental School, Dr. Fadler was involved in the American Student Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association Student Chapter. While studying she completed a 2 year fellowship and is a Fellow of the American Dental Educators Association. Dr. Fadler, along with numerous community service projects, participated as a clinician in a two-week dental mission trip to Haiti in 2016.
Dr. Fadler met her fellow classmate and love of her life Dr. Gary T. Bishop during their first year of Dental School and they were married shortly after graduation. Following Dental School, Dr. Fadler & Dr. Bishop practiced dentistry together in LaGrange, GA.Dr. Fadler is very excited to be joining Dr. Vanstroms dynamic team as his associate.
Dr. Fadler regularly attends continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest techniques and technologies. She enjoys volunteering her time and dental services to organizations dedicated to helping the underprivileged, and serves as adjunct faculty to Georgia States Hygiene program.
I was born and raised a small town girl, originally from Baxley, which is located in the heart of South Georgia. Baxley is also the hometown to Georgias first Pulitzer Prize winning novelist, Mrs. Caroline Miller. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Administrative Services, and a minor in Speech Communications. After graduation, I moved to Atlanta, where I started out with Dr. Vanstrom as a patient. I was offered the position as his Front Office Coordinator, which I loved for 10 years. I have since been promoted to Office Manager, where I enjoy taking care of all of our patients needs here at Artistic Dentistry of Atlanta. I have two amazing children, Kaitlyn and Walker and am a tried and true UGA fan. Sic em dawgs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, shopping, and adding to my shoe collection.
I was born in Atlanta and raised in Norcross, Georgia. I knew as a little girl that I wanted to be a dental hygienist. So after high school I attended Georgia Perimeter College, (formally DeKalb College) to seek my Dental Hygiene degree. While attending college, I worked as an orthodontic assistant to familiarize myself with the dental field. The year 1999 was a big year for me; I graduated from college, started my profession and got married to the man of my dreams. In 2002, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Vanstrom and his staff as a temporary hygienist.
I was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, home of Robins Air Force Base. I developed an interest in the dental field during high school, and at regular visits to my dentist office. I was encouraged to pursue my interest by a dental hygienist at my church. I graduated from Macon College with an Associate Degree in Science and Dental Hygiene. I have practiced for 19 years. I am a wife and proud mother of three lovely children. I love playing tennis and being outdoors with my children.
I was born and raised in Eatonton Georgia, where most of my family still resides. I moved to Atlanta right after high school then attended Gwinnett Technical Institute receiving a Certification in Dental Assisting. Artistic Dentistry of Atlanta was my first assisting job. I love assisting and love this practice so much that I would never dream of doing anything else. My husband and I have been married since 2000 and have a beautiful little girl, Abigail. We spend most of our free time with each other and our friends going to all the amazing places Georgia has to offer.
I was born in a small town in Zacatecas, Mexico. I came to U.S with my family when I was about 2 years old and have resided in Georgia ever since. I have always been interested in working in the dental field, once I graduated highschool I decided to peruse my career in dental assisting at Dental Careers Institute. A couple months after receiving my dental assistant certificate I got hired by Dr. Vanstrom as an assistant and have enjoyed working with him ever since.
I was born in a small town in North Carolina where I spent the first 16 years of my life until my dads job relocated us to the Atlanta area. I always had an interest in the dental field and decided that dental assisting school was a way great way to get started. I graduated from the Dental Assisting School of Georgia in the summer of 2018 and got the opportunity to work with Dr. Vanstrom at the beginning of 2019.
I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and moved to Southern California with my family when I was four. I attended San Marino High School where I met my future husband, Peter Vanstrom. We both received our Bachelors degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1983 and moved to Atlanta in 1984 so that Peter could attend Emory University Dental School and I could continue my career as a marketing representative for IBM. After five years at IBM, I went to work for Norrell Corporation in various sales and management positions, most notably vice president of the IBM national account.
After 12 years with Norrell Corporation, I made the decision in 1999 to retire from Corporate America and focus on raising our two daughters, Christine and Caroline. Since that time, I have become more and more involved with Artistic Dentistry as business and accounting manager. I love working with Peter and his wonderful staff. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and playing golf whenever I can.
I was born and raised in a small town right outside of Macon, GA. After graduating from high school, I attended Central Georgia Technical College and received my phlebotomy certificate. Although I love drawing blood, I love working with Dr. Vanstroms tight knit team. In my free time, I love playing softball and spending time with my twin sister, my family and my soon to be husband.
