Meet the DoctorDr. Nse Ekpenyong is a 1997 graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. Degree in Mathematics. After receiving his D.D.S. from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2008 in Washington, D.C., he completed a one-year General Practice Residency in 2009 at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he regularly treated medically compromised patients. His training included aspects of general medicine, oral maxillofacial surgery, emergency room care, and anesthesiology.
Because he is dedicated to personalized care of his patients, Dr. Ekpenyong continues to incorporate the latest treatment modalities and materials that dentistry has to offer in order to ensure that his patients receive the very best care possible.
Dr. Ekpenyong is an avid Chicago (and Houston) sports fan. He also enjoys traveling and photography in his spare time. He is married to wife Tammy, and they welcomed their first child in September 2016.

Tammy- Registered Dental Hygienist Tammy is a graduate of Kennedy-King College and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She majored in dental hygiene, focusing on the concentration of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Her additional qualifications include certification in CPR for Health Care Providers (Type C); certification in the Management of Nitrous Oxide as Conscious Sedation for Dental Professionals; and certification in the Administration of Local Anesthesia. Tammy also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Management from National Louis University.
Jeanine- Registered Dental Hygienist Jeanine holds a certification in the Administration of Local Anesthesia and has been working at Artistic Dental Centre since 2007. She is skilled with patients of all ages. Her philosophy is to help her patients achieve their optimal oral health and to create lasting bonds with them. If you want a clean and healthy smile, come and see Jeanine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her husband and two children. She also enjoys the outdoors and doing crafts.
Amy- Dental Assistant Amy has been a dental assistant since 1998 and joined Artistic Dental Centre in 2010. She has her certification in Coronal Polishing and Sealants. She has the great ability to interact with patients, getting positive feedback and fantastic results. This gives her great pride in her job. She likes to spend her spare time with her husband and two kids.
Claudia- Insurance Coordinator Claudia began her dental career as a Dental Assistant in 2009. She has a thorough understanding of the various dental insurance plans and patient treatment planning. She has outstanding patient skills which helps her to work with a large volume of patients. She enjoys the team approach and the supportive atmosphere that Artistic Dental cultivates. Claudia enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and two children. She is also passionate about cosmetology, applying make-up, and providing nail care services.

I was in so much pain I thought I was going to just go bananas. I needed a good dentist. Thank God I found Artistic Dental Centre. I knew from the first conversation that there was smiles & love on the other side. I believe that you like me will fall in love with the Absolute Best Dentistry Family Ever. This was my first experience with Artistic Dental Centre. This visit was for my boys age 6 and 12 and they were happy after the visit. This is huge. My son's do not like the dentist. ADC staff was exceptional. They were patient and genuinely caring. My family will definitely be back. Thank you ADC!!!!

I will NOT be returning to this place again. Thought I was going in for a simple filling, came out with horrible pain. I had so much pain that I went to my original dentist. (Only went to this dentist because it was more convenient at the time.....big mistake) I had to get my filling readjusted. Also, my original filling was removed and replaced with a new filling. If I knew that was what they were going to do, I would have never agreed to that. I never had a problem with my old filling at all. This place is all about the money. Due to the high cavity now I'm having continuous pain every single day. Again prior to this filling I never had a problem with my teeth.

It was my time once again to go to my favorite place for dental care. As always Service was excellent, timing impeccable and as always great staff and doctor rapport. Also, a very clean environment and safety is practice in this office which I do appreciate. So, if you are looking for a good dentist, a staff that cares and great quality of services Artistic Dental is the place.

I have been going to this office for years. From the time you walk in, you're greeted with great customer service and it only continues as you navigate through the office. The receptionists, dental hygienist, and dentist are all very pleasant and knowledgeable people. In addition, my entire family gets service at this dentist office because they truly care about you as a patient and the work is very good quality. I absolutely recommend this place, they are also extremely flexible and communicative. Thanks for always providing great service.

I have not had a dental appointment in over a year due to a horrific experience with a root canal. Aesthetic Dental renewed my confidence in scheduling and showing up for a dental appointment. The hygienist was very informative and gave me a full understanding of the work she would need to do. I'm not often impressed but I am. Believe the reviews. Although the dentist didn't have any work to do he still made an appearance, & doubled checked my teeth, the exam & X-rays to assure I was good to go.

Ok let's talk about the Dream Team aka Dr. Nse and his wonderful team! I have been with Artidtic Dentak since adolescence (yes, back when I was on my parents insurance lol...those were the days) And now my family has been with Dr. Nse since he took over the practice. There has been nothing but quality dentist at Artistic Dental, and Dr. Nse continues to uphold the core values that have earned the commitment of loyal patients such as my family. From the front desk to the patient rooms, things are clean and organized. You will ALWAYS be greeted with professionalism, met with understanding, left with a solution! This is BY FAR the BEST practice on the south side!

My dental hygienist is Tammy. She was great. I had a deep root cleaning on March 9th. Very very little to no pain. She is very informative about what will happen and what is happening as you are going through the process, as well as attentive and caring about you through it all. Really really knowledgeable and skilled with her job. EVERYONE I have encountered at this office is really nice...receptionists, dental assistant, dental hygienist, and dentist! I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed.

The customer service and personal touch at Artistic has always been good. I was there before the ownership change years ago and Dr. Nse and his team did not miss a beat. In fact they did a great job of adding their personal touch to it and picking up where the previous dentist left off. I don't have any other dentist I'd be interested in going to. They are competent, professional, friendly and responsive. I'd highly recommend.

First, I have so much anxiety and fear going to the dentist. They made me feel so comfortable! They gave me a weighted blanket to calm me and out on Netflix to ease my mind. They talked me through everything. They explained the treatment process well. I would recommend this dental office to everyone
