My practice philosophy is all about trust and providing a safe and comfortable environment. I know that coming to the dentist can be a stressful experience for some people, so I do everything possible to make each visit stress-free and comfortable.

I was born in Trujillo, a northern coastal city of Peru. I immigrated to the United States shortly after graduating from high school. I enrolled at Florida International University, in the colorful and vibrant city of Miami, where I graduated with a degree in biology.

I continued my professional career by attending dental school at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton. This school made me the dentist that I am today. There I learned to give my best and pursue excellence. This positive experience was enhanced by many devoted teachers, hardworking staff, and sincere friends. It is also during this time that I met my wonderful and loving wife, Trischa.

After graduating from dental school, I enrolled and completed a residency in advanced education in general dentistry at SIU-SDM. This residency exposed me to the challenges of complex dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation.

After finishing my AEGD residency, I completed a one-year fellowship in implant dentistry. This program provided me with the skills to place and restore dental implants surgically, and gave me the opportunity to treat simple as well as complex implant cases, which solidified my restorative and surgical knowledge.

I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in implant and cosmetic dentistry. I have kept and will continue to stay abreast of the latest developments in dentistry by attending continuing education seminars. I promise we will do our best and everyone will be treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism.

Dr. Trischa and I moved to the Monterey Peninsula in December 2010 and have been serving the community since. Our practice provides excellent customer service and outstanding dentistry. Our team is composed of caring and professional individuals who enhance our commitment and strengthens our vision.

In my free time, you will find me enjoying the ocean and waves of this beautiful peninsula. Waking up early and feeling the cold air while watching the sunrise before a surf session is the best way to start the day. We truly enjoy the outdoors and have found the perfect place to call home.

One of the best parts of being a dentist is getting to spend time with my patients: talking with them and learning about their families and lives. I love earning their trust and making them feel comfortable and calm in the dental setting.

When I was in college, I shadowed my local dentist on my summer break and I was hooked! I loved how I could help someone who was in pain or feeling self-conscious. I attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine, and also met my amazing husband Enrique.

In the years since I graduated, Ive taken advantage of numerous continuing education opportunities. There is always more to learn about dentistry it is a never-ending process. I love improving my patients smiles with Invisalign, so it is important to learn as much as I can about it. The more I know, the more beneficial I am to my patient.

Our patients come to us for the entire experience, and we provide nothing less than the best. Our team is the most amazing group that I have had the pleasure to work with. I feel so fortunate to have such a talented husband, Enrique, to share both my personal and professional life with. It is an ideal situation since we are passionate about different facets of dentistry. I have one incredible son, Erick, who brings joy to my life every day. He is smart, curious, funny, and kind. We also have an adorable Mini Schnauzer named Louie.
