Hi, and thank you so much for visiting my website. Let me introduce myself. My name is Dr. Kamal Ahmed. Ive been living in MN for the past seven years, since moving down from Toronto Canada. I have been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years, but my love for dentistry started long before that, as my father was also a dentist.
After graduation in 1994, I started by working with my father for 8 years, then moved to a group practice in Minnesota. Eventually, I left to start my own practice, where I could create an office based on personal relationships and trust. While I am a doctor, I prefer a casual, personal approach, so I encourage my patients to call me by my first name, and I try to get to know each of you personally.
Our practice is based on helping our patients truly understand their conditions, what your options are, and how to prevent problems in the future. I believe in taking the time to really educate my patients on how to keep their teeth and gums as healthy as possible and will gladly answer all your questions.
I keep myself up to date with any advancements in dentistry; in recent years, I have learned and implemented things like Dental implants, Invisalign, Lumineers, laser cavity detection among others. This means we can provide you with many options, rather than having to send you to lots of different specialists were convenient! In my practice quality care is more than just technology and terminology. I always keep patients best interest first.
Outside dentistry, I am married and have 2 wonderful children, plus our cat Lonnie, who take up most of my spare time. One of our favorite activities is cycling around town, so if you see us, please wave and say Hi! I do enjoy things like bird hunting, but I stopped that after my last dog, an English pointer, died.

My appointment was moved twice without my input. The first time, I was told a few weeks prior that there was no assistant available for my already scheduled appointment. The second time, my appointment was moved to three hours earlier due to the assistant having to leave early. It is already difficult to get time off of work and I understand that personal things arise to necessitate rescheduling. But getting tossed around is not my idea of good etiquette with patients. Only after I voiced my frustrations did I get an apology for the inconvenience. I have read good reviews about the doctor and assisting staff, but this customer service and scheduling is a nightmare. Your front of house representative is a reflection of your business and treatment of patients, too.

Only got as far as trying to set up general cleaning and ended up disconnecting the call due to the unprofessional customer service I received. If that's the first impression I get, I don't want to stick around and see what's next. I have 3 kids. For years I have took them all in at the same day. They are stating only 2 kids per family can be seen in the same day. I have someone to wait in the waiting room with the 2 that aren't being seen. This place had really good reviews so I'm shocked and upset on how the phone call went.

I'm normally uncomfortable and anxious going to the dentist for anything but the staff puts me at ease from beginning to end. I've had fillings, a root canal and a crown taken care of and my experience was very good.

I was advised by my insurance company that they were accepting new patients. When I called the office to inquire and told them who my insurance was with and that I needed a new denture they told me they werent accepting new patients with my insurance for that type of service. SERIOUSLY?? IS my insurance not good enough for you people?? I will take my business to someone whom actually TRULY cares.

I don't recommend this place!!! I brought my son in for a teeth cleaning, one of the middle aged dental assistants came out and was very rude right away. My son is a minor and he specifically told her that we don't use flourid for personal reasons and she proceeded to go against what he told her and she said he needed it anyway. She never came out to talk to me as his Mother about the situation which she should have as he's not an adult yet. I talked about what happened with the receptionist afterwards and I could see the Dentist near when she told him the issue, he never came up to me either to apologize or anything which isn't ok when a parent of a child is that upset because his employee messed up he should've talked to me as a professional and apologized for what had happened. Awful experience and very disappointing, all future appointments are cancelled and won't be returning........

These people have poor customer service. If you have a emergency or cancel your appointment when's something's going on they will never see you again. That is ridiculous and really absurd and all the staff were saying were it was the owners rule well the owner has a small minded-head and doesn't think about others everyday emergencies and that it's common for something to happen. All he will due is kick you out if his dental for missing an appointment.

Not good experience with thus clinic. They are pushing their services onto you. Nicle and dime you for everything. You need to pay them to get your x-rays that you already paid for.

I need to express that the doctor and his techs performance was always exemplary. However, the scheduling staff consistently made appointments a stress-point for me. *Four (4) times* in the few years I'd been going to them, they adjusted my appointment timing (by up to 2 hours on one occasion), and then they proceeded to gaslight me that it had always been that time (even though I specifically put it into my phone's calendar when setting it the first place). This would screw me over & leave me scrambling, as I have to leave work for these appointments. If you want an excellent doctor and hygienists, and you have a more flexible schedule, these guys are great. If, however, you're like me and you have a tight schedule & have to take time off work to go, be warned, and maybe try somewhere else.
