Outstanding dentist. Have had several procedures here and they are always done with extreme care and great communication. Admin staff is wonderful as well. Highest possible recommendation.

I had X-rays done here. The procedure itself was fine, but when I arrived, the front desk staff were maskless, the dentist was walking around the office maskless, and the X-ray tech had hers under her nose. The dentist put on a mask for our brief interaction, but overall the practice does not feel especially COVID safe, and I would not recommend coming here if that's a concern for you.

I love the dentists here but I have had billing issues for the previous three visits that have never been resolved. After the first time, I realized they were only billing my secondary insurance so I called to confirm they had the correct information and assumed it was just a one time mistake. It then happened again a second time, after I had confirmed my information, which led to me being wrongly billed again. At my most recent visit, they made me pay out of pocket even before my appointment and made me feel incompetent for even asking about the insurance (turns out they were still using the incorrect information). Dealing with this situation three times has been extremely frustrating and I will not be returning.

I've been going to Art of Smiles now for over a year so this review is long overdue. I love everyone at Art of Smiles and Dr. Seleem! I feel like family there. I had a lot of dental issues after neglecting my teeth for a few years and Dr. Seleem and staff really worked hard to correct everything and fix all of my dental issues. I can't recommend enough, 10/10! :) thank you again everyone!

I specifically asked the dentist not to file down my teeth that he said where a bit uneven. I had already told them in the consultation that I just wanted filling and a deep cleaning. The Dentist took it upon himself to steel file my teeth down and charge me for it. I was soo upset and when I addressed the issue the Dentist just dismissed my concern. The Dental hygienist was great. She was kind and listened to what I was actually saying. I never went back since I was so upset about dealing with the Dentist. I felt like they just wanted to charge my insurance for things I didn't actually need. My teeth didn't need to "even out", I didn't need to have them grinded down then have paste added to them. My teeth are now sensitive. Also the filling job was bad. I should have just drove further out to my own dentist

What Can I Say About the Wonderful, Happy, Cheerful and Kind Service ALL THE TIME at Art of Smile and Dr. Seleem I was a person that didn't like the dentist so much that I had a lot of Dental work that needed to be done due to my fear of the Dentist. When I was referred to Dr. Selemm/Art of Smiles by my Sister I thought all of the Wonderful Accolades she was telling me were false. They weren't Listen the ONLY Dental Group I will EVER go to is Art of Smiles/Dr. Seleem will ALWAYS have me as a Patient. I thank him and his Staff for making this Process so Painless. Great Dental Office Staff is Awesome and You Won't Regret Going Promise YOU Enjoy Your First Visit.

Been here for 4 years. Excellent service as always. Bernice, Dr Saleem, Crystal, Mia took great care of me. Previous staffs such as Alex and Brooke were awesome as well. Update 12/2020: Gabby took very good care of me as well. Art of smile is still excellent.

5 star service. Dr. Seleem is a wonderful dentist who puts a lot of care into his patients. They are very accommodating for emergency appointments too. The staff is just as caring and very helpful. I appreciate how well they keep the premises clean and safe. I highly recommend making an appointment to see Dr. Mohamed Seleem for your next dental check up.

I came here for my routine teeth cleaning and despite our current situation, Brenda and Bernice at Art of Smiles are so welcoming! Bernice the hygienist is so thorough when cleaning, i would not go any where else! I will continue to go to Art of Smiles for all my needs and highly recommend any one else to go there, you will not be disappointed!

Had one successful implant, things went bad from there. A failed bone graft on my front lower incisor, led to a permanent bridge that is a hot mess. For $3000, I came into the office every 2 weeks for 3 months to try and get them to match a replacement tooth to the rest of my teeth to no avail. The tooth matching process also involved 2 trips to the tooth lab in Glendale, where on my second visit, in order to take a picture they asked me to put an unsterilized backer behind my teeth to take the picture. When I mentioned this to Dr Saleem and asked him if he'd ever been to the lab, he said no. I've been told I'm stuck with this tooth that doesn't match the rest of my teeth. The work to attach the bridge looks like a bad spackle job. One procedure required additional novocaine. Once when I told him I was in pain, the response was REALLY?. Like he didn't believe me. I'm searching for a new dentist. REPLY: My name is Amy Bourquin and when I called the office and Crystal said there was nothing more that could be done. You knew who exactly who i was.

I've had multiple visits since last December and though it's still a relatively new patient-clinician relationship, I'd like to submit my review of my experience so far: - Brenda who is involved in the front office/administrative/patient experience portion of the practice is the star of the team. There was one occasion when I unfortunately channeled the frustration of my prior experience (I'll elaborate more below), together with the built-up struggles of my day/life - into a phone call that unfortunately Brenda had to take on, and she not only provided what I requested for (a billing statement), she did it with utmost poise and grace. The next day when I came in for a visit, she went out of her way to follow up further on my previous points of frustration, answer any questions that came up, and did a simple but critical thing: gave me the extra time and attention needed. Since then Brenda has blown me away on every occasion with her authentic and dedication to my patient care. What I appreciate above everything else is being able to trust Brenda, and therefore the business. Through many interactions, she's shown me that when she say she will follow up, I can trust that it will happen. One more example to provide: during my last visit, I foolishly left behind my AirPods. After a few days of thinking I had left them in my car, I finally called the office and I was relieved when it was Brenda who picked up the call. She offered to ask around. She also offered a suggestion on how to use the Find My feature on my phone. When we connected later in the week, she reported that the AirPods were indeed left behind but safe and sound with her. When I arranged to go by the office to pick them, my brief but positive experience again solidified into a pattern I can come to expect. - The dental assistant, Donna deserves a shout out as well. I had mentioned in one of my later visits that the pain from the previous visit is a concern - and she worked with me with empathy and from my angle, competency. - I cannot say I'm an expert on whether a dentist is a 'good' dentist or not, other than if the pain/discomfort goes away, or my dental goals are met. In my case, I've been satisfied in both areas. However, where I usually find myself observing more often than not, is if a practice is well run, and if the team that operates within such practice work in unity. I have observed that Dr. Saleem has a positive relationship with the dental assistants (I hope I am getting the roles correctly). It's such a dance, for the assistant to provide the tools immediately, and for them to prep the procedure. I've unfortunately/fortunate observed a fair amount of dentist-to-assistant interactions now to be able to tell when a dentist is simply feared, or is respected, and with Dr. Saleem, it seems to be the latter. I felt there was a level of trust given to the assistants, who, at least in my case spent the most time with me, and that resulted in a deeper sense of trust and assurance in the 'entire team' that is hard to come by these days in any business. The one unpleasant experience I've had so far (fortunately smoothed out by Brenda later) - I sent multiple emails at some point, requesting for a billing statement needed for the reimbursement of my out-of-pocket expenses. I never got a response and being a single mother struggling with my other life woes, it was very frustrating at the time. In conclusion, I'd say that entire team has won my business, and I look forward to sharing more of my experiences in the future accordingly. - Nath

I was overdue for a cleaning and x-rays and some dental work. After much research I went to Art of Smiles. This is the most professional dentist office I have EVER experienced. Every step of the process from setting up as a new patient to leaving the office was handled with the upmost care and professionalism. Plus, everyone on the staff seems happy. Dr. Seleem was thorough and took his time to review my needs and explain what needs to be done. Plus, their equipment is state of the art and the latest in the industry.

The staff and doctor were extremely friendly and understanding of my individual dental situation, and accommodated my needs as such! They also have excellent facilities coupled with a high degree of professionalism and confusion-free financial explanations. Would definitely recommend and will be using them as my regular dentistry location.

As usual, Dr. Saleem is FANTASTIC!!! His office had made the adjustments due to COVID-19 and everything is COVID compliant. I was in and out for my filling and am looking forward to going back in December for my cleaning!!! If your afraid of dentists (like I USED to be), head over to Art of Smiles!!! You'll be SO very happy that you did!!
