I like Dr. Huynh and his staff. Dr. Huynh has a heart for his patients. He is calm and relaxed guy. I enjoyed chatting with him as a human being. He is definitely good at bedside manner. He has his highest purpose of calling, not just dentistry but bringing people to get to know more about humanity, why are we here on this earth. His 20 experience in dentistry serves him well, but his personality as a compassionate man is more important. I would come back to his office on my periodic exam and cleaning. Thank you Dr. Huynh for your dedication to serve the people around this neighbor.

My wife and I moved to El Cerrito a few years ago and needed a good dentist. We found Art Dental Center through searching online and went in there one Saturday to check it out. We immediately fell in love with Dr. Huynh and his staff. They are extremely kind and professional and provide exceptional customer service. Recently I needed a new crown which was quite an involved procedure due to the location of and condition of my old tooth. I'm very happy with the work they did and my new tooth is amazing! Much better than what I had before.

This place has a bad service. and deserve no star at all. First of all, the situation in office is crowded and a lady who talked with me does have her mouth covered. The office also charged every customer $10 for PPE in addition to your copay , that does not tell us when making an appointment.

This place has a bad service. and deserve no star at all. First of all, the situation in office is crowded and a lady who talked with me does have her mouth covered. The office also charged every customer $10 for PPE in addition to your copay , that does not tell us when making an appointment.

We love our dentist, Dr. Loc Q. Huynh, DMD and his staff. We have been with his office since 2009. We truly think he is an artist, his dental work, technical skills and gentleness are amazing. Definitely one-stop-place where you can get your dental implant surgery, braces and regular dental care. Thank you for taking care us.

Dr. Huynh has been a great dentist and orthodontist. When I first stepped in his office to get braces I was In doubt because I didn't think my teeth could get as straight as Dr. Huynh was able to get them. My teeth were really bad/crooked. Now as I look back to two years ago and all the work it took for my teeth to move, I'm in awe of how straight they look and how happy I am with my smile. I definitely recommend and trust Dr. Huynh to work on my teeth or anyone I know. I also want to give credit to his staff. They are very friendly and treat you like family.

My children and I have been with Art Dental for about 8 yrs now. We genuinely feel like a part of that dental family. Doc and staff are very friendly and welcoming. My youngest kid at age 2 used to cry her eyes out and we would have to reschedule every time--- but, Dr Huynh was very kind and patient with her. He never forced the procedure to continue. I appreciated that about him the most. He earned her trust eventually... Now, she's 10-- and tougher in getting the numbing shot than me! He also knew how to care for my other daughter who has autism. She's very comfortable with doc and his staff--- it's a very rare trait in autism behavior. He takes good care of our dental hygiene!! He always shows his concern... and shares his wisdom and advice when I'm at a bumpy road in life. Also, one important thing I really like about Dr. Huynh is that he's a "perfectionist". Because he's very particular in details, I know my teeth will always look smile ready after appointments with him :) Thank you Art Dental for giving me and my children the best smiles

I wrote a review for Art Dental and Dr. Huynh before. I recently completed an implant and as always my experience through out the process was great, from start to finish, from the surgery to finalizing the implant. I highly value time and I greatly appreciated the fact that I did not go from one office to another. The doctor does everything in his office. I am a real patient that tried different dentists before and Dr. Huynh is the best. Unlike other sites, without mentioning a name, google reviews are true and mostly correct. In my experience, cost was explained to me very well and I did not have any issues. Thanks doctor for giving me back all my teeth! Ham When I went to see Dr. Loc Huynh about 6 months ago, I had many problems - pain, missing front tooth, and row of not well taken care of teeth. Dr. Huynh took his time to know me and understand what I wanted to do. After step by step treatment plan, I now have pain free new set of teeth with nice smile. Considering his unique personality, knowledge, and skills, it seems like being a dentist is Dr. Huynh's life's calling and I felt lucky to have him as a dentist. After all, "Every calling is great when greatly pursued." Not only he taught me what I need to do to take care of my teeth, but I was also able to learn many life changing lessons for overall better health. I found the doctor and the entire staff at Art Dental to be very courteous and helpful. They are professional and show the care and attention needed to take care of their patients. I did not find anything to criticize, and they are way much better than the other dental centers I visited over the years. Most of all, what I found to be convenient and worth choosing this center is the fact that the doctor is able to take care of ALL dental needs in the office, right there. No referral or being sent outside of the office to another endodontist for root canal or oral surgery to remove a tooth if necessary. It is my understanding the doctor does implants as well. I highly appreciated the fact that I did not have to go around for different specialized works that most general dentists don't perform, and all the work that needed to be done was finished right there in the office right away. That saved me a lot of time, energy, and headache. They open their doors for business. Therefore, I firmly believe if someone visits them with an open mind to listen to the doctor and work with the staff, this includes willingness to take care of invoices properly, then I don't believe anybody would have a problem. I highly recommend this office to anyone who wants to get excellent dental care. Ham T.

I'm writing this to describe my implant experience with Art Dental in El Cerrito. I waited several months after getting my new implant (a molar) to make this review. The implant took several months to complete. A screw-like cap is first inserted into your gums - this is basically the implant and this will hold the abutment which will eventually hold the crown. The implant took a few months to heal. Afterwards the doctor checked if my body accepted the implant (it did) and then molded the crown. A couple weeks later the abutment was attached to the implant, and crown was installed onto the abutment and I had a new tooth. I was worried I'd 'feel' a foreign object in my mouth, but I didn't. I don't. The tooth feel 100% natural. Just make sure your crown is 'seated' properly against your other teeth, just like you would for any other crown. If something feels strange, too high/too low, any grinding, etc, let the doctor know, he'll fix it. The only complaint I have is for the insurance company. The implant was covered. The crown was covered. However, the abutment was not. This doesn't make any sense. The abutment is what holds the implant and crown together. So that was about $300-something. That's not a complaint about the doctor or his staff. That's the insurance company doing what insurance companies do. As for the doctor, I rate him highly. He's very good and knows what he's doing and knows the most up-to-date techniques. I've been his patient for almost ten years and I know he continues to advance his knowledge. So if you need an implant or are thinking about getting one, I can recommend this practice. They've taken very good care of my teeth.

I've been going to Art Dental for more than 5 years already. Dr. Huynh is an amazing, and friendly dentist. He makes sure all his patients get the best treatment and is serious about his work like an artist for teeth! His assistants make you feel taken care of as well.
