A Glendale, Arizona native, Dr. Steele earned his doctorate from Howard University and each year continues to study advanced family and restorative dental techniques. He and his wife, Mary, have been married 11 years and are the proud parents of three sons (Mason, Miles, & Graham).

Dr. Howard grew up in the small town of Clarendon, Texas. She completed her undergraduate work in Molecular Biology at Wayland Baptist University, while playing collegiate basketball for 4 years. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona, she decided to make the Phoenix Valley her home.
Her favorite part of dentistry is providing patients with a great dental experience at every visit by treating them like family. She understands that not all dental work is fun, so she listens, and addresses any concerns prior to treatment. Dr. Howard can make patients feel relaxed and comfortable while providing excellent clinical care to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.
She stays current on all aspects of dentistry through continuing education to better serve her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Yonan is a Phoenix native. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Biology. After graduating, she spent two years at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research in Bethesda, MD researching the effects of laser in mediating wound healing in the oral cavity.
Dr. Yonans goal is to provide quality dental care in a comfortable and stress-free environment because healthy beautiful smiles start with a happy patient. She strives to get to know each patient and listen to their needs and concerns. Her priority is to make each patient feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Yonan stays current with the latest technologies and techniques by focusing on evidence-based dentistry and taking continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, and spending time with her family. Her favorite hikes in Arizona are Siphon Draw Trail, Locketts Meadow Trail, West Fork Trail and Sunrise Trail at McDowell Mountain Preserve.

This is the best dentistry practice in ARIZONA hands down!!! The office is beautifully decorated. The front desk staff is trained and knows how to answer your questions or problem-solve. Their equipment and techniques are up to date and cutting edge, but the best part of this practice is their Customer service and DEDICATION TO HIGH LEVELS OF CUSTOMER CARE. THEY ARE TOPS! I've been coming here for 3 years and I will Not go anywhere else. Neither should you!!!

Had an emergency chip that turned out to actually being a cavity needing to be a crown and Dr.Steele saved the day! Him and Elda were so kind and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all as a first time patient.

I got my cavity done today and barely felt anything was done after the numbing agent wore off. Also watch some movie as a great distraction. I've always had great experiences there.

Would not recommend this practice to anyone not happy with the care they provided at all. Would leave 0 stars but it wouldn't let me.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I like that they offered in office payment options. Personally the dental chair was comfy and all my questions were answered. Definitely would recommend. Great job guys.

This once was a great practice but I will never go here again. The prices kept getting higher and there were constant inconsistencies in their recommendations for what work was needed and the billing. My husband and I had been getting work ...

I was having really bad tooth pain and no one could get me in, not even my own dentist for an emergency. This place had a 7:00 the next morning so I took it. Literally took them 5 minutes to tell me I have an infected tooth and needed a root canal done. I was in and out in a little over an hour with no pain. They also can make you a crown the same day with a machine they have. No waiting for 2 weeks! Dr Steel and Dr Yonan are amazing!

Dr. Jess is absolutely amazing, made me feel very comfortable. I have had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but everyone I have encountered here is great. During procedures Dr. Jess and those assisting her were always making sure I was OK and comfortable. Appreciate how fast they got me in and feeling better.

They cancelled 30 mins before my appointment at 9:00 am and rescheduled in other time, waste of time.

This once was a great practice but I will never go here again. The prices kept getting higher and there were constant inconsistencies in their recommendations for what work was needed and the billing. My husband and I had been getting work done for a year and half and then a year later they give us a bill for $400 that they "mis-billed" previously. It was confusing and frustrating because we signed off on what was owed and paid in full after each visit. They had no real explanation of this large amount that was all of a sudden past due and were quite rude about it. I have since found a more honest dental practice and will not be returning here, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

Ok Two years later and I still can't say enough good things about this place.. DR. Jess is the best seriously the best dentist I have ever had. Wasn't happy with my dentist called Arrowhead and got an immediate appointment. Everything was ready when I got there greeted with a smile, full exam and clear explanation of any issues and costs. Happy I made the change
