Dr. Victor Rosales career in Dentistry began in 1992 when he graduated as a Dental Technician at Centro Escolar University in Manila. Following this, he completed the extensive 6-year dental studies at the same university and acquired his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1998. Dr. Rosales began his practice in Manila and eventually expanded his work in a second office in Quezon City. In only four years, he treated over 3000 patients; vastly increasing his working experience.
Dr. Rosales opened Arrow Smile Dental in December of 2007. Dr. Rosales continued his dental learning and completed studies to earn his Post-Doctoral Degree in Cosmetic Dentistry at UCLA. Combing his qualifications as a Dental Technician, Dental Hygienist, and Doctor of Dental Medicine with Cosmetic Dentistry gives Dr. Rosales unique perspectives on treating patients and managing a dental practice. He is frequently engaged in assisting his staff to be continual learners of the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Rosales enjoys active membership with the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, The California Dental Association, The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentist, and The Southern California Filipino Dental Society.

Tooth loss is not just a cosmetic concern. If the gap in your teeth is left alone, then the adjacent teeth will drift into it over time, creating other gaps. The tooth opposite the one that was lost, having no point of contact any longer, will grow down into the gap. This is often accompanied by gum recession around that tooth. Tooth misalignment only raises ones risk for tooth decay as well as gum disease.
Its essential, then, that gaps be filled, and this is where removable dentures and dental bridges come into play. Unfortunately, while bridges and removable dentures can replace missing teeth, they cannot duplicate the way those teeth interacted with the jawbone. The alveolar bone, the part of the jawbone that holds the teeth, needs stimulation from the teeth; otherwise, it will be reabsorbed into the body, causing speech problems and distorting ones facial features.
Only dental implants can prevent both tooth misalignment and alveolar bone resorption. Implants refer to the posts or frames, usually made from titanium, that are surgically embedded in or near the alveolar bone to provide a sturdy root for artificial teeth.
Those with healthy gums and a sufficient amount of jawbone can qualify for implants. If too much of the alveolar bone has deteriorated, one will need to get a bone graft beforehand. Also, one must be ready for a time-consuming process; it can take months for the jawbone to heal around the implant. Once the implant and artificial teeth are put in, one will have to commit to regular dental visits and an extensive oral hygiene routine.
There are actually two types of implants: endosteal and subperiosteal. When most people say implants, they are referring to the endosteal implants: screw-like posts that are drilled directly into the jawbone. Another post, called an abutment, is connected to this, and on top of that goes the artificial tooth.
Subperiosteal implants replace missing teeth from a metal frame that lies in the tissue between the jawbone and the gums. Those with too little jawbone who do not wish to undergo a bone graft can choose subperiosteal implants. Endosteal implants, though, are more effective.
The process is fairly simple. Once the jawbone is prepared, the post or frame is inserted. Those who opt for subperiosteal implants will have an impression of their jawbone taken so that the frame fits the bones contours. The implant, abutment and artificial teeth are then inserted. Preexisting dental bridges or partial dentures can be fitted to the abutment. For those without either, a dental specialist can create realistic-looking teeth based on a mouth impression.

So happy with my service! I can't wait to go back for my cleaning again. My teeth feel so cleaned, the office was so nice organized and very clean, they were also so nice and professional to me and my kids they also went too. My son had to get tooth pulled and he didn't feel any pain. His had issues with his teeth for a while now and he told me that they were good and gentle and they loved everyone. I got braces here when I was a teen and he extracted 4 premolars. I now have a sunken face because he didn't take into account my facial profile. I have to spend thousands of dollars to reverse what he's done. Do your research.

Really good service! The staff and drs were very friendly. The dr who did my cleaning did an amazing job and I felt very comfortable. Even when it was closing time and the receptionist was in a hurry to go home (but it's understandable because it's closing time and she has a family) , the owner/ dr took his time to help me with finance options for braces which I was grateful for. Highly recommend this dental office!

Really good service! The staff and drs were very friendly. The dr who did my cleaning did an amazing job and I felt very comfortable. Even when it was closing time and the receptionist was in a hurry to go home (but it's understandable because it's closing time and she has a family) , the owner/ dr took his time to help me with finance options for braces which I was grateful for. Highly recommend this dental office!

I haven't been to the dentist in 11 plus years due to a bad experience with the previous dentist. Arrow Dental was recommended to me maybe 3 years ago and I've been putting it off and wish I hadn't . For the amount of work needed it went very well. I am completely satisfied. Pain free visits and I have my smile back. It's what I expect in a dentist.

Not many dental offices would see someone with no dental insurance on a Saturday to boot and manage to make the pain stop. The whole team made sure I was comfortable, explained the financing to me, and completed a root canal with no prior appointment. The office lady knew I was in pain and went out of her way to help me get out of pain. I will only use these folks from now on.

I would recommend Dr. Rosales and his staff to anyone. I found them via Google search by chance and it turned out to be such a blessing. My elderly mom, who is terrified of dentists, had a tooth ache. They got us in the same day and Dr. Rosales and his staff were compassionate and so patient with her that I had to give him a hug before leaving. This is definitely a great dentistry for any one who has a fear of dentists.
