Office was dirty, staff is extremely rude, dentist assistants aren't very gentle. Scheduling is near impossible with year wait an then schedules appointments and changes them. Not great with kids or understanding fear of needles. Every experience since tyack changed to aarow has been a nightmare. Save yourself the time an anxiety an go to Portland or anywhere else!

I like their service..they helped me out and went above and beyond when I needed dentures. The down side is, I have called several times with a pain issue and it is becoming very uncomfortable. I called numerous times and each time I was told they would either call me back later that day or the next day. Fast forward one week later and I am still unable to get in. I will try again tomorrow but it doesn't look very promising. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Absolutely the worst. The rescheduled my son's appointment. Then 15 minutes before the already rescheduled appointment, they call to say they have to reschedule AGAIN. Son missed school, father missed work. We live 1/2 hour away. Wasted gas and time. They call again and offer us a 9 AM appointment, 5 minutes before 9. Ridiculous. Will NEVER come here again. This isn't the first time we've had problems with these people.

So frustrated my appt took 7 months to schedule and then the reminder call came in the day before the appt. I just got the text reminder just now for an appt in 14 hours with a reminder of their 24 hour cancellation policy. (That's not helpful) Called to reschedule and was told to call back the next day since I had broken their 24 hour notice policy. Wouldn't reschedule, wouldn't listen to me about no reminder sent until the day before. The woman was so rude and I feel so burnt. Now I can't be seen until December. I'm not even sure they cancelled the appt she was just being weird. They are so rude it's upsetting. If the reminder call came three days like she told me they always do I could have juggled things and all would have been well. So frustrated about this truly.

Waited 10 months for an appointment for them to say "They had tried to call to reschedule." No voicemail. Front desk rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. The whole experience on the phone was uncalled for and disgusting. Absolutely could not have cared less

I have been going to this Dental Office 20+ Years. Thought they had growing pains when bought out by larger corporation in 2019, but I have finally had to take my business to new dentist. Can not do cleanings anymore, and receptionists not very helpful, bordering rude. Was told by Front Desk that if I needed cleanings, to look for another dentist in town, they could not help. Did not bother them that they lost a client.

I've only had good experiences here so far. My only complaint is that my appointments are far apart. I've been having to wait anywhere from 1-3 months in between. Everyone is always nice and accommodating.

Update : The new staff is remarkable!!! I'm as happy as a clam in a clam bed !!! Especially through this COVD 19 OUTBREAK. Staff escorts you from your car right to the dentist chair after you call. Spent two years of driving several miles and was refused to treat me because of high blood pressure. In the meantime while waiting. My face swelled up the size of a watermelon. I had a systemic infection...that made my auto immune system attack itself... I lost feeling in extremities ... A Neurologist diagnosed me having Peripheral Neuropathy...I am now forced to go once a week to a local hospital for Infusion Therapy for 4 hours. Corporate released everyone and replaced them with new people. I had to start all over. There are some dedicated individuals there now who actually care. I feel I can trust. And the target date for my completion is end of summer. Urrrrgh! But I like them.

Ok!! My biggest fear has been going to the dentist due to past experiences at this location, but yesterday I had an appt at arrow dental who is no longer Tyacks -had to get 2 extractions and I was so scared/nervous. I'll tell you what Dr Looney is hands down THE BEST I have seen in my whole life, nobody wants to have to get a dental extraction but I made it thru 2, he is so comforting with his words, you can feel his passion of being a doctor. I will hopefully have my whole mouth fixed by him!! He is Great!!

I have had tooth pain for months, but my appointment was pushed almost 6 months out because of Covid, it got to the point that I didn't know what to do anymore, I couldn't sleep, I could barely function at work. They were able to get me in for an exam and subsequent root canal when the pain got severe, and Dr. Looney was kind and did a fantastic job. My tooth looks beautiful, my bite feels good, and I was able to sleep last night. I can not be more grateful for the kindness I was given. Fast professional service. I've recommended them several times since yesterday!

The wait was a bit long to get into my appointment but considering they are the only local dentist who accepts OHP and they are totally booked constantly it's understandable. Once my 7 year old daughter got in they were so kind and, while working quickly, never made us feel like they were in a rush or that we weren't important. The main dentist seems very competent and knows what she's doing. It was a really positive experience and I'm grateful to them for their care and attention even though they are running from patient to patient all day! Great place and great staff. Everyone was professional, kind and very competent. Totally recommend!

Great place for families. I was most impressed with how the dentist treated us. From the time she walked into the room, I felt like she had all the time in the world for us and there was no superiority (that can some times come from from medical professionals). She was down to earth, professional, again I didn't feel like we were being rushed through an assembly line. She had time for us, answered questions, and made it a good experience for our daughter.

Going to the Dentist is cause for a little anxiety, especially when you're bringing your child in and want her experience to be positive. Our nerves were immediately calmed with the first friendly face we saw and were completely gone when the Doctor came in the room. The assistants, Doctor and hygienist were all very friendly and professional. Thank you for taking care of my daughter. We will be back!!
