Dr. Gary grew up in rural Ohio. After deciding to pursue dentistry as a career, he attended the Ohio State University School of Dentistry and completed a residency in orthodontics at the University of Rochester Eastman.
Dr. David, the son of Dr. Gary, grew up in Grand Rapids and completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University. Subsequently, he completed dental school at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Mark is currently on the board of the West Michigan Dental Foundation, an organization that helps give scholarships to students in need. When hes not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five-year-old twins, as well as being with friends and family.

The people are friendly and courteous. Our appointments have always been on time. They provide detailed consultations and pricing so you're never surprised about work being done. This really is a great place. Even our young kid loved going here!

I was able to have both of my girls go through their expander, braces and retainer series at the same time which cut our visits in half with not having to take them separately. The process is a big commitment with lots of visits so this was extremely helpful. The flexibility granted made scheduling so much easier. As far as progress, we couldn't be happier. We were new to all of this and we're 'coached' through every step of the way. Despite being across town with many orthodontic practices along the drive there, we are Definitely happy with our choice in choosing Armbrecht & Wierenga. Highly recommended.

The first time you walk in you are welcomed with warmth and friendliness from receptionist to the clinical assistants and the orthodontists. Everything is explained and they work with you to get the most beautiful results and smiles!

Armbrecht helped my daughter overcome some serious health problems by correctly fixing her top mouth pallet. They also correctly identified most of her medical issues without even looking at a medical chart. They did it by looking in her mouth, nose and at the x-rays of her teeth. They were crazy accurate and have helped her immensely. They say the eyes are the window to your soul? Your mouth and gut are the window to your health.

Friendly and informative staff made our experience great! Worked with our insurance to get the maximum benefit coverage. Appointment process is easy with hours that worked with our schedules. Can not say enough great things.

My daughter is just starting the process of getting an expander. I really appreciate how Dr. Wierenga took the time to explain to her (and me) in what would happen at her subsequent appointments and why. I also appreciate Armbrcht and Wierenga working with my dentist in terms of when to start orthodontics for both of my kids as their dental situations were very different at same ages.

A&W was recommended to us by our primary dentist. I have one child in braces currently, and I am anticipating two more children to need orthodontics. We will continue to use A&W. They're truly amazing to work with, excellent appointment options and the doctors and assistants are very experienced! My 9 year old looks forward to her appointments!

I chose Armbrecht & Wierenga based on prior reviews and had great faith that they would take care of my son while he was in braces. I do not regret my decision. This was the most amazing experience for my son and I. The staff were always professional and just a breath of fresh air to be around. The orthodontists were very personable and despite the number of patients they treated, they knew everyone personally. My son is very happy with the results of his teeth after having his braces removed. I would give Armbrecht & Wierenga 10 stars if I could! Highly recommended!
