Drs. Bailey and Haghighi have hospital privileges at St. Lukes, Saint Alphonsus, and Treasure Valley Hospitals. However, most of our procedures are safely performed in our office surgical suite. This allows us to provide the utmost in personal care and often reduces patient anxiety.
Dr. Haghighi grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate and professional education. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Indiana University, while caring for patients at four Level I trauma centers throughout Indianapolis. He is trained in all aspects of Oral and Facial Surgery, including: dentoalveolar, dental implantology, cosmetics, anesthesia, trauma, craniofacial, temporomandibular joint disorders, orthognathic, pathology, and cancer treatment. He is published in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America and has lectured on the topic of Oral and Facial Surgery throughout his career. Outside of work he enjoys hiking in the foothills, kayaking, and traveling.
Mike Bailey was born in Tucson, Arizona. At the age of 11 his father got transferred to Santa Ana, California, and his family lived in San Clemente, California. He has a sister who is an attorney and general counsel for a large assisted living corporation. He was fortunate to meet his amazing wife of 33 years in Omaha and they married in 1985. Suzi practices as an anesthesiologist, specializing in outpatient orthopedic anesthesia. They have two exceptional sons Nick, age 27, and Bryan, age 22. Their sons competed at a very high level in alpine ski racing, both ending their careers racing for their respective NCAA division 1 alpine ski teams. He and his wife enjoy road and mountain biking, snow skiing, water skiing, and backpacking. They have lived in Boise since 1993.
