Hello and welcome! I am so proud to introduce you to our dental office. I have had the pleasure of following in my father and uncles footsteps and continue their legacy of serving the community since 1962. I was so fortunate to have had two great mentors and I genuinely enjoy being a dentist! I understand that many people find going to the dentist a stressful experience so I focus on giving 100% of my attention to make sure my patients feel at home and their experience is a pleasant one.

I am always participating in continuing education courses throughout the year, not only because it is mandatory, but I truly enjoy it! It allows me to stay current with technologies and treatment options for the best possible results for our patients. The professional organizations I am involved with include:

I am happy to brag that I have a great team! Our front desk staff, assistants and hygienists are all top notch! Not only do we all work well together, but we genuinely like each other and have a good time while getting our work done. Every day is a good day!

On a personal note, I met my husband, Vince Arpino, in dental school. He is an orthodontist in Libertyville. We have one son, Vincent, who is in high school. We would love to have him follow in our dental footsteps, but we will see!

Dr. Kenny M. Gomolplitinant, DMD is known as Dr. Kenny or Dr. G by his patients. He grew up in Los Angeles, CA where he attended college at the University of California, San Diego. He graduated with a B.S. in Human Biology and a M.S. in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine and now calls Chicago his home.

Dr. Kenny continues to nurture his passion for the field of dentistry and to continually stay abreast of all of the latest treatments. He attends continuing education courses whenever possible to stay current with new techniques and ways of making his patients healthier and their smiles brighter. He finds implant dentistry a rewarding field to practice in. He enjoys seeing his patients smiles and lives transformed by the use of dental implants. He also has extensive experience with Invisalign, wisdom teeth removal, crowns, fillings, cosmetic dentistry and minimal oral conscious sedation.

His aim is to provide complete care for the whole family, whether it is routine cleaning and exams, cosmetic dentistry or anything in between. This care includes developing life-long relationships with his patients and their families in order to provide the best care possible.

Grace attended the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015 for vocal performance. In 2016, she competed at ICCA with her acapella group and received an award for OutstandingPerformer. After realizing that a career in dentistry was her true calling, she changed her major to Dental Hygiene. She enjoys singing, calligraphy, and crafting. Her favorite TV show is Friends and she can recite any line, from any episode!

Kellie has been with ASFD since 1999, ask her any of your insurance questions she would be happy to help you out. She has been married for 20 years and has 2 kids. She enjoys camping, canoeing, running, sporting events, and also plays billiards pool with a team of eight. They have won a spot to participate in the words largest APA Amateur Pool Tournament in Las Vegas two years in a row.

Nadia and her family live right here in Arlington Heights. She has a Bachelors degree in business administration which she earned in Bulgaria and recently received her certification in dental assisting. She has two children and in her free time enjoys cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Nadia speaks fluent Bulgarian and even some Russian.

Nicole was raised in the small town of Norridge, Illinois, where she volunteered at the local park district. She was a cheerleader and coached many sports, like baseball and football. After pursuing a business degree at Triton College and relocating to the Mount Prospect area, she changed her major to Dental Hygiene. She hopes to enroll in the Harper College dental hygiene program in fall of 2017.

Sara graduated from dental hygiene school in southern California in 1995. She has been practicing for 21 years with experience in pedodontics, periodontics and public health. After hygiene school Sara moved to Illinois with her husband. They have two college-aged children and enjoy boating in the summer.

Arlington Smith Family Dentistry isa truly handicap-accessible facility. Our single story building with no stairs is equipped with an automatic door at the entrance. The wide walkways connecting the various parts of our office allow for easy travel throughout. Dr. Smith has even been known to work on patients while they remain seated in their wheelchair if moving into the dental chair is not feasible.
