Dr. Kemps mother was the one who encouraged him to become a dentist at an early age. In fact, shes saved a journal from second grade where he wrote that he wanted to be a dentist one day! Today, orthodontics is truly the perfect field for him because he loves working with kids and seeing them smile brightly.
I feel so blessed to come to our Pediatric dental office every day. I have made so many close friends by working and living in our community. I know our doctors and team members make a wonderfully positive difference in peoples lives, because so many have told me so.
Dr. Kemp received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery and received his orthodontic training. Each year, he completes a great deal of continuing education to stay at the forefront of new advancements and technologies. He is an active member of both the Illinois Society of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Kemp grew up in Washington, IL, which was a community that instilled small town values of supporting ones neighbors and helping each other. He and his lovely wife, Carolyn, met in dental school. She is a wonderfully compassionate dentist with her own private practice! Their daughter Catherine is so dedicated to making the world a better place, which led her to obtain two masters degrees in environmental science, while their son Reed has many talents and brings such an uplifting spirit to whatever room hes in.
When hes not caring for patients, Dr. Kemp is constantly finding ways to challenge his brain and stay fit. One of the greatest days of his life was when he competed in an Ironman triathlon! Hes also qualified for the Boston Marathon twice. He loves to play golf and even won an Invitational tournament in 2019. Some of his other favorite hobbies include riding his snowboard and building furniture/dcor hes currently interested most in stained glass windows/lamps.

Dr. Halls grandfather was actually a dentist, and although the man passed away when he was very young, he constantly would explore his large dental cabinet filled with interesting instruments and equipment. This had a huge impact on him that lingered all the way until adulthood. He also knew that he wanted to have a job where he could help people while being able to work directly with his hands. It was almost inevitable that the dental world would jump out as the perfect place for him!
Dr. Hall grew up in Arlington Heights, IL and attended John Hersey High School. He then attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, where he was actively involved in several honor and service organizations. Dr. Hall received a B.S. in Biology and graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2005.
After college, Dr. Hall began his dental studies at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and quickly realized that he wanted to pursue an orthodontic practice. He graduated from Penn in the top of his class with numerous honors and distinctions. Following dental school, he completed an orthodontic residency program at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Today, he is also a proud Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is an achievement obtained by only 1 in 3 orthodontists. He continues to stay on the forefront of new orthodontics technology (including bracket systems, aligners, 3D printing, and more) through regular post-graduate education.
When he isnt busy working, Dr. Halls favorite hobby (AKA obsession) is golfing. He tries to play a couple of times each week and spends extra time practicing too. Additionally, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family who live locally in Arlington Heights.
