We are located two miles west of Interstate 430 on Cantrell Road/Hwy 10. Heading west, turn right at the corner of the Arvest Bank onto Highland Drive. The New Balance/Sole Solution shoe store is on the left as you turn. Come to the end of the block. We are the last office on the left, just before the Highland Point Apartments.
Dr. Scott Schoen specializes in the following treatments and procedures: maxillofacial reconstruction, facial trauma, facial cosmetic surgery, corrective jaw surgery, oral surgery, and dental implants (including the All on Four procedure).
Dr. Seelinger received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2016. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Seelinger served as Chief resident at University of Tennessee HSC 2020-2021, is Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) trained, and stays up to date on modern treatment methods and surgical procedures.
Dr. Payton Seelinger is a skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon with experience in wisdom teeth removal, dental extractions, dental implants, pre-prosthetic surgery, bone grafts, gingival grafts, orthodontic surgical bonding/bracketing, oral cancer screenings, oral pathology, surgical biopsies, and facial trauma.
His approach to care is to provide patient-centered treatment. Dr. Seelinger seeks to build relationships and friendships with his patients, looking for common interests and similarities they may share. He favors open communication and has an approachable and welcoming manner, taking time to explain procedures and expectations of future treatment. Dr. Seelinger always treats patients like one of his family.
Dr. Seelinger is a member of the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Arkansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association, and is very involved with his community. He is a Mission of Mercy volunteer, has led Give Kids a Smile screening events in the Memphis area, and is a member of the Bellevue Church Dental Bus Volunteer Clinic.
While not working or volunteering in the community, Dr. Seelinger enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and their four children, Palmer, Greer, Winnie and Grady. In his spare time, he enjoys family activities, hunting, fishing, recreational shooting, and cycling.

Called and asked if they took both my insurances- one is United Concordia. They said yes and even website said yes, so I scheduled my consultation and surgery. After consultation they said they didn't take United Concordia if it was through military. Nobody ever told me that, so I ended up having to pay out of pocket (just for them to tell me about the surgery and risks) and cancelled my surgery.

Called my insurance company and they recommended Dr. Seelinger for oral surgery for me. I made an appt last week for surgery consultation. I was told it would be $109 and I came ready. I told the receptionist what insurance I had and that my insurance recommended them. This office never mentioned they didn't take my insurance until I arrived for my scheduled appt a week today. I was told they wouldn't see me, even after I offered to pay cash! I was told that the scheduler, Amber, made a mistake! They couldn't give me an estimate of the cost to have a rear back tooth that needs to be removed asap. I told them I could pay cash but I was very upset after being told they wouldn't see me. Due to health conditions I'm not in great shape. Because of this issue my Blood pressure and blood sugar are unmanageable. I hope I can find another surgeon soon! I know this is extremely dangerous and life threatening! I told the office manager how I was treated, the receptionist had a really foul attitude and was very rude. Even threw a pen! The office manager assured me that Shay was always pleasant. Not today she wasn't!! This clinic needs to step it up. Do medical professionals not call and verify insurance? Who doesn't accept cash for service? I desperately asked to pay cash and they still wouldn't see me. Go somewhere else! I did.

Our daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Payton Seelinger. It took 10 days for swelling to subside. She has pockets in her gums after a month. We have two insurance companies to cover the procedure but after five weeks we are still waiting for the claim to be received and processed. The office manager told me they do not file electronically and only via US mail therefore we wait and hope they receive the claim! This has been frustrating experience for us. We should have stayed with our son's oral surgeon unfortunately he was booked and our daughter had to get this surgery done asap.

I have to say Dr.Steve. Schoen is a wonderful surgeon. My daughter just had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Dr.Schoen, and I just had a tooth extracted with an implant in its place. We both had very pleasant, professional, and friendly care by staff as well. Dr.Schoen even called to check on us the evening after our surgeries. I would recommend him and his clinic to anyone.

Dr. Schoen and staff are wonderful and puts the patient at ease with sedation. Went to sleep and woke up 45 minutes later with teeth extracted and no pain. Gums are healing well and I will always go to his office for Any oral work to be done. Hands down.

I had my last (impacted) third molar surgically removed by Dr. Schoen and the experience was professional, fast, and painless. I only used local anesthesic and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for my surgery. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Afterwards, hardly any pain and healed up quickly and I had no issues whatsoever. I would recommend these doctors to anyone! Thank you for the best experience possible!

I was sent to see Dr. Schoen by my regular dentist, while there I was treated great. The support staff was very courteous and friendly. Thank goodness I don't have to go back but if I did I know that I would be treated just as well.

I had a wisdom tooth removed last year and this was my experience of going under. In the end there wasn't nothing to it on my part, I slept like a baby on the operating table and at my friends house. The staff here are nice and the Dr. will even call you to check on you after your surgery. This was money well spent for the treatment you get.i will return to have the rest of my wisdom teeth removed.
