Through dentistry, I want to change the direction of peoples lives by improving their oral health. I want them to feel healthy and energetic so they can live life fully. To do this, I will give my patients great smiles so they will feel great about themselves and therefore, great about life!
I attend approximately 150 hours of continuing education courses each year. The subjects range from implants to fast braces and include topics like conscious sedation dentistry and the newest techniques for creating gorgeous smiles. I am a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
I have been married to my wife, Debbie, for almost 45 years! (God bless her!) We have four grown children and nine wonderful grandchildren. I was a worship leader in churches in Arkansas and Tennessee from 1970-2013, but now we support our church through tithes and volunteering. I exercise daily and love spending time playing in the woods on four-wheelers with my grandchildren. I also love to read and go to the movies.
Why I Chose Dentistry: As a dental hygienist, I hope to be more than a healthcare provider by connecting with each and every patient I treat by being an educator, friend, and motivator. I am passionate about my role in healthcare and seek to provide the highest quality of care by bringing brighter smiles to those who need it most.
Why I Chose Dentistry: When i was 12 years old I had my first dental visit. I was kind of scared because I knew I had some cavities. Fortunately, the dental assistant was very kind and didn't make me feel judged. Because my first dental visit was positive I knew I wanted to work in the dental field. I now get to create a positive experience for my patients.
Why I Chose Dentistry: Because Dr. Jones was learning music at our church, and Keith and I were in the choir. Dr. Jones stated he had bought a dental practice in Arkadelphia and was looking for employees.
Why I Chose Dentistry: Dr. Jones has been my dentist since 2004. I have always enjoyed being a patient of Arkadelphia Dental Care so when a job opening was posted I decided to go for it after 10 years in personal injury!
