Dr. Vermani has been exclusively treating Orofacial Pain Disorders in the Valley since 2006.She obtainedher DDS degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, whereshe graduated cum laude and was elected into the OKU National Dental Honor Society.She completedher Orofacial Pain Residency in 2006 at the UCLA School of Dentistry Orofacial Pain Program, which is the premier Orofacial Pain Program in the country. The program equippedher with the knowledge to treat and manage Temporomandibular Disorders, Chronic Orofacial Pain, Headache, Orofacial Movement Disorders, Orofacial Neuralgias and Neuropathies which include Intraoral Non-Odontogenic Pain, and Sleep Apnea with oral appliances.She has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most knowledgeable dentists in this field, andreceived a well-rounded foundation as a result of training with Neurologists, Psychologists, and Pain Medicine Physicians. Having previously practiced general dentistry for a number of years,she also has a good understanding of Odontogenic Pain.
Dr. Vermani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, as well as a lecturer and clinical instructor in the UCLA School of Dentistry Orofacial Pain Program. She also regularly lectures on the various topics of Orofacial Pain throughout the Valley, and has had the opportunity to speak internationally to raise awareness about the subject. In addition,she is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Headache Society.
Dr. Vermanistartedher own practice, Arizona TMJ & Pain Center, in late 2011, after practicing in the valley for 5 years in a grouppractice. Over the years,she hasworked hard to help many patients attain a better quality of life.She is very passionate about delivering quality care toher patients while utilizing a conservative treatment approach.

When you realize the Dr. is a horrible person and change Dr. you still have to pay for your records. I was stolen from to begin with. My information was shared without consent. I do not recommend!!!

I have experienced TMJ, tempromandibular joint, pain for over 40 years! After three arthroscopic joint surgeries chronic jaw pain, problems chewing food, and extreme migraines I decided to have open jaw surgery. A metal plate, 3/4"x1', was placed in my joint. It slipped and fell internally! I suffered extreme pain! I needed a second surgery to remove the plate. An infant cartilage cadaber was placed. Ten years later I started again with constant migraines, limited jaw movement and problems chewing my food. A friend recommended Dr. Vermani, best recommendation ever! I have been seeing Dr. Vermani for seven months. I now have less headaches, increased jaw movement, and I now sleep at night! I've been seeing Dr. Vermani for almost 2 years, she is SO kind and knowledgeable. She has helped me with my TMJ, with appliances and showing me different massages. She will give her honest opinion if you need certain treatments or not, she doesn't want to waste your money if it's not needed. There has been some appointments that the wait time is a little longer others, but, that can be at any office. She is definitely worth the wait!!

Honestly this has been the worst experience I have ever had. The entire medical staff is rude! The medical provider rushed to be in and out.

Had to schedule an appt with this place almost 3 months in advance. Tried to call then a few days before to ask about my insurance coverages and no answer, I left a message. No call back, tried to call again next day, no answer. Tried again the last 3rd time, no answer. And still no call back. Missed the appt because there was no way to cancel or change it since they won't answer the phone.

As a dental specialist myself, I have worked with Dr. Mandeep Vermani for many years. She has treated many of my patients, but it was not until my own daughter needed TMJ treatment that I really got to see her up close in action. My daughter had been dealing with jaw pain for far too long without improvement with a normal night splint. Dr Vermani in an expert in understanding the TMJ, diagnosing the problems with the joint and treatment needed to get the joint feeling better. As a dental specialist myself, treatment of TMJ is one of the most challenging types of dental treatment and I am thankful for her expertise and help with my patients and my own daughter.

After years of pain connected to TMJ I have relief. I had jaw, face, ear and tooth pain feeling like I needed a root canal for every tooth. After several months of treatment, after a full set of X-rays to see the problem, appliances to wear at night to sleep and a set for day wear I feel 100% better. I recommend Dr Vermani and the Arizona TMJ & Pain Center for anyone in need of help. The office is clean, professional and everyone is kind that greets me and does the work needed.

I have struggled with TMJ pain for the last few years. I had daily headaches and had to avoid eating certain foods that left me feeling sore. Recently, the pain became overwhelming but professionals struggled to find a fix. It wasn't until I saw Dr. Vermani where she quickly diagnosed my problem and helped me find a series of events to recover. Dr is great and knowledgeable but they move patients through at a snails pace. I've had 3 Appts and have waited in the waiting room at least 45 min to an hour for each one. It definitely eats up a ton of time in your day. *update* the office manager was super nice, called me and apologized for the delays. She said they will be adjusting their schedules so it hopefully doesn't happen again!

I have been dealing with TMJ for years. As time went on it progressively worsen. While getting my yearly cleaning I told my dentist my problem and was referred to AZ TMJ . I can only tell you from my first visit to getting my appliances, with x-rays and adjustments. I am 100% better. While following her direction with exercise and which appliance to wear. I finally am not in terrible pain any more. I can't thank the Dr and her staff enough.

Dr. Mandeep Vermani, DDS, on Dobson and Main in Mesa was amazing in helping me recover from TMJ and from a very painful neck problem that I suffered for 2 years. I could not turn my head and driving was difficult. I was able to get a back up cameral installed in my car which helped. Because I am in my 70's I was told I had arthritic deterioration in my neck. From June 2016 to January 2018 I was treated by chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, an orthopedic physician, a neurologist, and 2 pain specialists for an oblation. I had CT scans and 8 X-rays, and massage therapy. Over the two years I had 96 different appointments to address this issue. I was finally directed to Dr. Vermani. She was able to solve my TMJ problem in about 2 months and then she began on my neck and I am so please to say after a year of her treatments I have mobility in my neck and I can have a normal life. I am forever grateful to this wonderful doctor and her skills in treating everything from the neck up to bring me quality of life again!

After suffering from a car accident I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Vermani, because she was able to help me heal through a long process of recovery in a professional and caring manner. Her own experience with two vehicle accidents I think made a difference in the way she treated my condition. When I first went to her I was in tremendous pain and with a severely dislocated jaw that I thought I was not going to recover from. She explained things carefully so I could understand and helped me understand that the process to heal was going to take time. Never having been in an accident I had to learn how to be patient through the process, because at times it felt like I wasn't going to heal. Dr. Vermani reassured me that I would heal, but that it takes time, which she was right. I recommend Dr. Vermani and her great staff that needs their medical assistance.
