In the beginning, there were only four dentists and one office. As word got around, though, the practice grew and grew. More dentists, more offices and many more happy kids. In fact, by 2010, you could find A Tooth Doctor for Kids in Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler and Globe serving more than 61,000 happy patients.
But even that wasnt enough. Some kids still werent getting the dental care they needed. The answer: mobile units! A Tooth Doctor for Kids now has two mobile units, each with two dental chairs, on the road all week. We visit Native American reservations, Head Start programs and schools. We do free screenings at health fairs, community centers, and all kinds of events. Each year we provide free care for hundreds of kids without insurance.

Horrible customer service they tell you need more work then you originally do. They make you wait for like 1hr to tell you there's not enough staff. People told me about this place I didn't believe it. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE

Still I'm writing the same review don't send kids here they put me through pain again when I was 15 years old I'm not happy with this service here I think all tooth doctor for kids should be shut down for good no openings just shut down

I don't like that it is not set up for parents to accompany the children during the visit.

My girls (now 17) and Bella (my granddaughter) have been with this dentist since grade school! I recently found out they can see me too! On the dental side parents not allowed in treatment area but we are taken to back room for consultation. The Orthodontist side for braces is a separate department and staff. This review doesn't include them because we've never used thier services. Let me tell you about this location, the dentist and her staff are so professional. They make you feel cared for and thats just thier customer service skills! The dental work is pain free! Trust me I'm scared to death of dentist , doctors etc.! They are use to dealing with children so thier care is extraordinary and extends out to thier adult clients like me. The techniques they use in administering the injections and anything that can cause pain is painlessly effective. I am so pleased with the work I've had to get thus far. They are very honest and will do the dental work needed. If its not broken why mess with it to fix it, is her outlook on life. I absolutely love this dentist and staff! Go visit! Its the 944 N. Gilbert Ste 101 Mesa location.

Took my daughter here at the age of three. They said she needed some baby root canals and had a total of six cavities. I went to seek a second opinion @ NH Phoenix Dental, said they could only find one cavity and was puzzled as to why AZ Tooth Doctor for Kids would say she needed such extensive work. They said they wouldn't trust this office and would not refer their patients here. This company also goes to local schools and social events for free exams, I'd stay away from the waiver and avoid unnecessary dental work on your children.

My son has had issues ever getting braces. Five brackets fell off and now I'm told I have to pay 20.00 for each bracket that I was never told about, I pay 167.00 a month I shouldn't have to pay extra. I don't recommend anyone to go there for braces

Payed cash balance in full at time of services and a month later sent me a bill for same amount I have receipt for. Scammers for sure

FROM 1 STAR TO 5 STARS IN 2 WEEKS!! No need to get into details, however, I did have an issue that was pretty big, something I'd never dealt with before. Having said that, I reached out to upper management shortly after this incident. I got zero excuses, she owned their actions, apologized, and made it right. Customer service is very important to me, Dru is the area manager that handled my issue, she was amazing!! Not only did they recover my business, they made that wrong right, and did it without me saying a word. That is how you run a business. I have been back twice since that initial incident, 2 different locations for different reasons, and everyone has been nothing less than spectacular in those last 2 visits at each Mesa office!! Thanks Dru!! God Bless!!

All the staff are excellent! They were very friendly and understanding. My daughter broke her front tooth and they were able to get her in to be seen the same day I called. They fixed it all in the same day and since I have no dental insurance and a cash paying patient, they gave me a great discount... very satisfied with everything

Rude and unprofessional.. No play area, just 2 arcade games, tv hard to hear for the kids. What I mostly had a problem with is them not wanting parents to go back with their children! It's never a good sign when a dentist is like that, second experience I've had with that. Very crowded and long wait. I believe they also fabricated my son having 4 cavities. He just saw his previous dentist (who was awesome) before we moved here, that was the end of July, then we see this office at the beginning of October for pain in one tooth and a regular cleaning and he all of a sudden has 4 cavities. No thanks, taking my children elsewhere.
