In the beginning, there were only four dentists and one office. As word got around, though, the practice grew and grew. More dentists, more offices and many more happy kids. In fact, by 2010, you could find A Tooth Doctor for Kids in Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler and Globe serving more than 61,000 happy patients.
But even that wasnt enough. Some kids still werent getting the dental care they needed. The answer: mobile units! A Tooth Doctor for Kids now has two mobile units, each with two dental chairs, on the road all week. We visit Native American reservations, Head Start programs and schools. We do free screenings at health fairs, community centers, and all kinds of events. Each year we provide free care for hundreds of kids without insurance.

Received a text message that it was time to bring my daughter in for a check up. I called they put me on hold for more than 15 minutes. Not once was the phone picked up and said we will be with you shortly. I hung up, called again and Kaitlyn answered. I explained to her that I had been on hold for more than 15 min and get response was "Well we're all with a patient ma'am" I said that's understandable but a quick pick up of the phone and let me know that you haven't forgotten about me would be nice. I asked to speak with supervisor Nichole, when transferring the call got disconnected, called back, was put on hold again for over 15 minutes no answer. I will not be bringing my kid to this place anymore.

All they could suggest for my 1 year olds first dentist appointment was to keep brushing his teeth , when his chipped tooth was clearly discolored and rotting . Since then have not came back and switched dentist .

I brought my 2 sons here and during the visit for an exam one of my boy's was called to the back and the other was expected to wait in the lobby without me. When I motioned for him to come back with us, the medical assistant said he had to wait until his name was called, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I will not be leaving my son in a room full of strangers, he is coming back with us and they can call him from the back, as he was next anyway. Medical assistant had an attitude afterwards. We came back for another appointment that was scheduled for 3:00, it is almost an hour into the wait and we're still waiting. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this location for anyone looking for friendly, professional services.

I like this place my daughter has been a patient since she was three 16 now. So I started taking my five year old and my one year old. For the past two years my daughter's has been telling me how they are talking about their personal life wild doing the exam.and how when they do fix any of her teeth the anesthesia is not enough and it hurts her and she let them know and they tell her to shut up and stop moving. Serious! This last time I was there my son made a comment to the dental assistant she completely ignore him.

Horrible place will never be returning and would not recommend. Did not do good job they did everything in a rush and with an attitude that they put water inside my eyes and got mad when I pointed it out. My teeth have been in more pain and really delicate. They told me I had to go back with them to get more work done or I would ruin my teeth when I mentioned I wouldn't be under their service ever again she kept on insisting in a bad way that I had to go with them. I attend the dentist every single month for braces treatment and checkup, they have not mentioned any problems with my teeth.

DO NOT COME HERE! This place is the worst. I came in for a wisdom tooth removal and they did not know what they were doing. I'm 20 and I can take pain but this was ridiculous. I'd rather go to a real tooth doctor and pay out of pocket. Please do not come here, I cannot stress this enough. A prison has better care then this place. I have insurance but this place did not want to accept it because they wanted me to pay out of pocket. If I could give -5 stars I would. This place deserves to be shut down and closed for good. I AM NEVER COMING BACK!!!

I was horrified when I went here. I got my wisdom teeth extracted the Dr didn't make sure I was completely numb! When I told him that I could feel it and it was painful he told me that I could not feel anything! Wouldn't take my worst enemy there! When I started chocking on my saliva they didn't give me a second to recover they just kept cutting into my face.

THEY OVERDOSED MY 47 lb 6 yrold on DEMEROL....50x an adult dose they gave her plus anxiety meds plus local plus laughing gas and strapped her to a board all without informed consent!! They were rude and tried to alter the paperwork in her records!! DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!

Had a bad experience with this location!!! First Lady to take me in starts taking my exams and has me bite down on a tool that is cutting my mouth open. I tell her her it's uncomfortable and I try adjusting the tool and she basically pushes my hands down and tells me to bite down harder. Then I get taken to a room and most of the staff are being trained and I'm not even really sure what was going on half of the time back there because all of the confusion. My main reason for the visit was to get my wisdom teeth removed but after looking at all the reviews about being treated poorly especially things not going smooth with wisdom teeth being removed I will not be coming back here again.

Im sad to say this years later but this office should not be open. I had to walk out on this office as a dental assistant. I have kids and at the time I knew nothing felt right and it was better off to walk away from this company. I couldnt give a reason for leaving because there was too many incidents to talk about. 1. doctors were advising us assistants to talk to parents and tell them they are not allowed in the back because of the "small spaces" for the doctor and assistant. 2. they didnt want to tell the parents that their kids were terrified and once the doctor was in the room the doctors would bring up the levels of "laughing gas" in order for them to "relax more" when more than 50% of the time they would make the kids pass out during the procedure when they should only have certain levels of Oxygen and Nitrous oxide. Once they are passed out they are straped to the chair? But other offices ive worked with kids and disabled patients I never had to get them high and strap them down when the purpose is to relax not make them sleep. 3. all the assistants were completely heartless and had a routine for all the assistants to follow if 1) the child was not able to function on his/her own right after the procedure.2) you do not update the parents on anything thats only for the doctors to let us know what to say. Lastly I couldn't take working their after the office full of patients under Anesthesia with real medical staff had the compressors go out completely and had to transfer sleeping patients to the other office across the hall hoping none of their parents walk outside and see their kids asleep and with oxygen tanks being transferred to a whole different building. I was done with that place all together. I was trained by a home schooled female who had no life experiences outside of her home life? How do you know how to take care of kids since its a tooth doctor for kids? No emotions no sympathy for these poor kids. Please dont send them here Ive been telling my friends and family not to come here!

Horrible service. They didn't clean my daughters. (She is 3) teeth didn't do a x-ray Dentist looked in my daughters mouth said she had cavities had us watch a video and the video made ME cry. Then when i asked the dentist if i could be in the room with my daughter while they were doing the fillings and she said no.. We have since changed dentists. The place was nasty will never take my daughter here again.

I was very hesitant to take my daughter here because of all the bad or mixed reviews. I went ahead and took her even though I felt uneasy about it. My daughter is 12 and she has major anxiety about going because we have had some bad experiences with other dentists having terrible bed side manners and are just rude and not good with kids. She had to have a permanent tooth extracted and I was not sure how this was going to go. My experience there was good. She got a shot in her arm and she passed out in a couple of minutes, which is perfect for her considering the circumstances. She wouldn't have done well any other way. They were very kind and professional. They ladies at the front desk were professional and very nice. I felt comfortable with them. Other than the wait it was a good experience. This place is good for those who deal with anxiety and just need to be put out.
