A Tooth Doctor for Kids is part of your neighborhood. We employ neighborhood people. We speak your language. Naturally, we accept Medicaid as well as other forms of insurance. We hope you will make us your dental home for years to come.

In the beginning, there were only four dentists and one office. As word got around, though, the practice grew and grew. More dentists, more offices and many more happy kids. In fact, by 2010, you could find A Tooth Doctor for Kids in Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler and Globe serving more than 61,000 happy patients.

But even that wasnt enough. Some kids still werent getting the dental care they needed. The answer: mobile units! A Tooth Doctor for Kids now has two mobile units, each with two dental chairs, on the road all week. We visit Native American reservations, Head Start programs and schools. We do free screenings at health fairs, community centers, and all kinds of events. Each year we provide free care for hundreds of kids without insurance.

There are two other important things to know about A Tooth Doctor for Kids. First, we maintain local roots. We always staff our offices with people from the community. This helps ensure that our patients and their families feel comfortable. Second, we never stop innovating.

This prestigious accreditation asserts our national recognition for excellence in care and service to our patients.Arizona's Tooth Doctor for Kidsis proud to be one of a select group nationwide to be accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Ouraccreditation tells you that AAAHC's independent team of health care professionals has found that we meet their rigorous, nationally-recognized standards for health care services. Accreditation demands a high level of commitment and effort. It challenges us to always find better ways to serve you, and it is one more way for us to say we care about you. When selecting a dental provider, AAAHC accreditation is one of the things you may consider and ask about. These are just a few examples of what the AAAHC looks for when surveying an organization.Arizona's Tooth Doctor for Kidsmeets all these qualifications and parameters.

  • Does the organization follow nationally-recognized standards in infection prevention and control practices which are established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO)?
  • The AAAHC is a peer-based, not-for-profit organization that is nationally recognized for conducting extensive evaluations of ambulatory health care organizations to ensure the highest quality standards. Health care organizations undergo a voluntary process to measure the quality of their services and performance against nationally recognized standards.

Do not send your children here. They will put your kids through unnecessary pain. Charge your insurance to fill ghost cavities. Also try and pull baby teeth that going to fall out. Save your child the pain and unnecessary procedures.

Doctor explained the risks on anesthesia and the possibility of an adverse reaction, problems breathing, and possibility of not waking up in front of an 8 year old patient who was already crying. When she heard this, she started sobbing and screaming uncontrollably. All staff had no compassion towards a scared child and didnt take into consideration her previous traumas.

Some staff not all staff who work here are very rude and unprofessional they make it seem like they are there to mingle and socialize rather than work like a social hour not a dentist appointment, having personal conversations. Some staff including dentist felt it's necessary to give personal opinions rather than professional opinions. Some of the dentist not all are very unpleasant. They overbook, kids not a priority just about the money never have appointments. My kids have came here since babies, now that they are old enough to speak and explain things they tell me that some of the dentist are mean and aggressive. I would never go back to this office or refer anyone else for that matter. I have finally had enough. its all Unbelievable!

Needs organizational and staff members that actually want to work and have great customer service. When I got to my appointment I waited for 10 mins nobody was sitting in the front. The phone ringing off the hook. A line of other customers behind me waiting too. A staff member looked straight at us and kept on walking. Same thing happened when I had to leave and they made Me wait and sit down to make an appointment. Their was a staff member just sitting their on her phone and after 10 mins I asked her I could just leave and call to make appointment. And she laughed thinking that I was just waiting to get called. The doctor who attended us was very monotone and had no bedside manner at all.

We have been coming here for 10 years and it is always a phenomenal experience. The quality of care at Tooth Doctor is superb. The same staff have been here for years and every time we go we know we are in the best hands, with the most experienced kids dentists and staff around, especially when my kids have needed sedation for treatment. The rooms are always pristine clean and sanitary. I love the fact that they take emergencies and walk ins, so even if we have to wait sometimes in the lobby we know that is because their team is available if we need them in an emergency.

this place is terrible! everyone here seems as if it's only practice for them and not about doing a good job or even caring towards the children. Zero social skills. Zero workmanship. Nobody here ever seems to know what they're doing. My littles only had one or two cavities that were not even close to severe and they wanted to perform dental surgery for something not serious. Seems as if it's only for money for them. Never going back.

Don't even bother going here, when they were cleaning my teeth and whatnot, they kept hurting me, I asked them to stop because at this point it felt like I was constantly being stabbed by a needle, they said no. They really didn't stop and they blamed me for the pain. My mouth is extremely bruised and my gums are swollen. Don't go here. Not even bothering going to the next scheduled appointment.
