Dr. Joe Gerard graduated from La Sierra University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1990. He returned to Phoenix, where he was raised, and started a practice. In 1993, he opened a second location in Sun City. He has worked at both practices ever since, serving patients in the Peoria, Glendale, Surprise, and Sun City areas, as well as Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Dr. Gerard is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In 2006, he earned and received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the ICOI. Dentistry is constantly changing with the development of new procedures and technology. Dr. Gerard stays abreast of these new advancements and research because he is committed to providing quality patient care.

Dr Gerard was the one who was able to restore my husband's smile after other dentists had failed. In addition, everyone in the office is so friendly and down to earth they make the process less scary. We believe in the work they are doing so much that we recently brought my mother in to begin treatment. If you need dentures, particularly if you have had bad experiences in the past, this is where you want to be.

Over the years I have had major dental work because of a broken jaw from years ago. Over the years I have many different dentists & as many of you might know, the shot for Novocain can be very uncomfortable. Dr. Gerard gave me several shots & I never felt one of them. I had to have a bridge & two caps replaced & they fit perfect the first time, I've not had that happen before with ant dentist. I have gone to 7 or 8 different dentists over the years, he's the best!

I am SO happy that I came here! I previously went else where and seriously messed up my bite. I came in due to having horrible pain when biting down and Dr. Gerrad new exactly what was wrong and fixed my situation. Couldn't be more happier with the processes & how I was treated. Would strongly recommend to friends and family :)

Dr Gerard is by far the best I have EVER gone to! the staff is friendly! I feel comfortable knowing I'm in a place that I can trust with something like my teeth that I have struggled for so long with. . So happy with how my teeth are coming out.I still have ways to go BUT by far the best my teeth have ever looked & felt! Thank you Dr. Gerard

Choose Dr Joe Gerard after searching on web and noticing he has a Cactus Rd and Sun City location. Figured he had plenty of experience with dentures (which I needed), most other offices had bad reviews or ones that seemed fabricated. Drove 150 miles from Kingman Az, well worth the drive. Caring, knowledgeable proficient with an outstanding staff. Treated me like a King. Thanks Joe!
