Born in Los Angeles, I was raised in the San Fernando Valley and have lived in Valencia since 1989. With a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Northridge, I received my doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) and Bachelors in Dental Science from University of California, San Francisco. Selected for a residency program in Advanced Cosmetic and General Practice Dentistry, I became a certified resident at Loma Linda Veterans Hospital.
In 1989, I married my wonderful wife, Rhonda, and moved to the Santa Clarita Valley to open my cosmetic and family dental practice in the new and growing community. In April of 2007, after many years of practice in Saugus and Newhall, I finished my custom-built, professionally-decorated dream office. The practice is located in a brand new building on Tourney Road in Valencia, where I continue to provide excellent cosmetic and family dental care. After many years of building beautiful smiles in Santa Clarita Valley, I maintain the enthusiasm and motivation that prompted me to pursue a career in dentistry. I am an active member with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am a current fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
My three children are my pride and joy: Ryan (the oldest), Megan (the only girl), and Chasen (the baby of the family). When I'm not working, I enjoys golf, scuba diving, and playing online games. I am also a nationally ranked second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. My main pastime is having fun with my family and enjoying my kids many sporting and club endeavors.
I haveworked as a dental receptionist in general dentistry since 2003. In 2007, Ijoined Dr. Arima'steam, working in both the front and back office. Iwill take care of every need you might have while you are in the office. Ican take care of scheduling and ammasterful at maximizing your insurance. Ican also assist while you are receiving treatment, and amalways happy to comfort patients. Mygoal is making sure you and your family have a pleasant experience in our office, from the time you walk in to the time you leave.
I aman expert at patient relations in the office. I have arelaxed South Carolina demeanor and will strive to make your visit as pleasant and as streamlined as possible. I have been a dental assistant since 2001. I am very compassionate about thetreatment of my patients and havea very gentle hand. I havetwo lovely daughters that keep meon my toes. In my spare time, I enjoyhiking and camping. I also liketo spend myfree time binge watching on Netflix.
I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2005. Im a people person and have a passion for dentistry. I enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and helping with their dental treatment. When I'm not helping others, I'm a busy mom with my daughter and her schedule of activities. In my spare time, I enjoy bike riding and trips to the beach.

Mycommitment to personal and professional development is second to none, andmy passion for continuing education has allowed meto stay on top of the latest industry trends, treatments, and technologies in dental hygiene. My mastery of the most innovate patient hygiene technologies all but ensures Dr. Arimas practice is well ahead of the industry. I graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1991. I ampassionate about mycareer and the health of the patients that Itreat. That care is conveyed by mykindness and gentle touch. I am very active with the San Fernando Valley Dental Hygienists Society. In myfree time, I enjoyan array of hobbies including outdoor activities and singing with the Threshold Choir.
I have over 40 years of experience as a dental hygienist. I was a past president of the San Fernando Valley Dental Hygienists Society. Ienjoyspending quality time with mytwin daughters and two grandsons. Ialso loves going out on the town with my friends, and you can often see me lining up for the newest movie blockbuster or hottest concerts in town.
I graduated from West LA Dental Hygiene School in 2017, and havebeen a practicing Dental Hygienist for over 3 years. Dr. Arima and his office staff are always friendly and professional. The dental hygienist is gentle but thorough, and I trust Dr. Arima's opinion for what needs - and doesn't need - to be done. He discusses pros and cons for any dental procedures. I always recommend Dr. Arima to friends and family.

My family has gone to Dr Arima for decades, and prior to the pandemic, I would've given them 5 stars. Now, I went for a checkup/cleaning and was floored to discover no COVID protocols are in place. Unmasked staff was talking freely over my open mouth, after I told them I was high risk and needed masking. I was then told the Dr. wasn't in and my 1 appointment would now be split into 3 visits. When I asked if they would wear masks on my return visits, they said no and that I could either cancel my appointments or wait outside in the hallway until they're ready for me, each time. I asked how that would prevent me from being exposed while being worked on, and they then said I could cancel and go elsewhere. I'm truly stunned and my entire family will be changing dentists. Now I know they never really cared about us, just our insurance billings. If you're high risk for COVID, avoid this dentist at all costs!

If you want a dentist that is kind and good, you need to see Dr. Arima. Everyone in the office is very nice and makes you feel so comfortable. I highly recommend tis office.

Love the entire atmosphere and staff at Dr. Arima's office. They are very kind and caring and professional. No pressure for unneeded treatment. Always ask if you are comfortable or need anything. I had the most thorough cleaning ever last visit. Now getting a new 6 tooth front bridge and the experience is actually pleasant. Thank you Dr. Arima and staff! I can't recommend you more highly!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Horrible experience with this dentist. Misdiagnosed twice. Would NEVER go back to this place. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I love this dentist. My dentist of 20 years closed his practice and I went to two new practices to find a replacement for the dentist I absolutely loved. It wasn't until I went to Dr. Arima's practice that I knew I found my new dentist. He is a REAL dentist not just a cosmetic dentist trying to make money. He does a wonderful job at keeping your teeth in the best shape. His dental hygienist is really thorough. His staff is wonderful. Not having very good insurance, the staff works with me and lets me know ahead of the procedure what it will cost.

The scheduling is flexible for cleanings, and I appreciate how they value being a family dentistry. I've never had any services rushed, nor have I ever felt unwelcome in their office. I look forward to coming back every 6 months, and highly recommend this dentistry!

I have been seen by Dr. Arima for about 10 years. He always gives excellent care, as does his staff. They are friendly and efficient. Their charges are always reasonable. Today I took my elderly Mom to see them. They all treated her with respect and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Arima and his staff. They are the best!
