Dr. Hiroyuki Arima is a well-respected, prominent dentist in San Mateo. He has been serving the community as a dentist in San Mateo for over 30 years. He was past president of the Japanese American Citizens League for two years and speaks fluent English and Japanese. He has also been an active participant and helped organize several Health Fairs in San Francisco and San Mateo. In the past, he was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. He has also been a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He received his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry at the University of California at Berkeley. He went on to complete his training at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he earned his dental degree.
Over the years he has gained extensive experience and training in restorative dentistry including cosmetics, prosthetics, implant surgery, and reconstructive dental care. With his skills and knowledge, he is able to offer state-of-the-art dental care with the latest equipment and techniques.
Invisalign, an alternative to traditional orthodontics with wires and braces, is another treatment that Dr. Arima has expertise on. He has spent many hours attending lectures, workshops, forums, and study sessions to improve and refine his skills and knowledge of planning Invisalign cases. Straightening an uneven bite will lead to a healthier, less troublesome mouth as well as a more attractive smile.
Dr. Stacey Bui is a general and cosmetic dentist serving the bay area and San Mateo County. She is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Mateo County Dental Association. She has been with Arima Dental Care for over 10 years.
Dr. Bui received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. After graduation, she went on to work in semiconductor and aerospace industries. After spending a number of years working as an engineer, Dr. Bui got the opportunity to return to school to continue her training in dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Bui continued to advance her dental training through numerous workshops, seminars, conferences, and study groups. She also received certifications for Invisalign (invisible orthodontics) and dental implants.
Dr. Bui emphasizes preventive and comprehensive dental care. She is committed to providing quality care personalized for each patient. Patients are encouraged to actively participated in their dental care and treatment. Preventive dental care also includes straightening crooked teeth and uneven bites that will lead to improving oral health and reducing complicated future dental treatments. Our State of the Art dental office is equipped with an intra-oral scanner as well as skilled doctors to achieve the excellent results that our Invisalign patients enjoy.

Everyone at Arima Dental Care is so kind and truly cares about their patients. My first visit was after having an unexpected fall where I chipped off a good portion of my two front teeth. They helped me through the ordeal & made me feel really comfortable during what was a stressful situation. Now, you can't even tell it ever happened & my smile is back to normal. Linda has also always been great - whenever I have questions about insurance, billing, scheduling, etc., she's always taken the time to be patient with me & walk me through everything. I will definitely continue to be a patient at this office!

I couldn't recommend this office more! I work with Dr. Bui and she is thorough, quick, and so incredibly pleasant. The whole team at Arima is incredibly friendly and engaged, and they always follow up on anything (medical or personal!) that I mentioned at my previous appointments. I used to absolutely dread going to the dentist, but the Arima team make it a breeze!

Dr. Bui and Teresa are amazing with my children! My kids hate the doctors office and I took them to another dentist before, but they are excited every time we have an appointment. Couldn't be happier that I found this hidden gem of an office. And the front desk Adrianne and Linda are genuinely friendly and welcoming too!

I came here for the first time today and was very pleased with my visit. I had a very thorough and gentle cleaning. My hygienist was very good about asking me if I was experiencing any discomfort and adjusted accordingly. Dr. Bui was very kind and detailed in her examination.
