Training and Continuing Education Dr. Argyle graduated from Utah State University where he received his BA in Biology. Following Utah State, he traveled to the east coast where he received his DMD at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Argyle constantly exceeds the number of yearly required hours in continuing education. He feels it is extremely important to always be learning and staying at the leading edge of the dental sciences, technology, and materials. Dentistry, like many other sciences, is continually changing and improving. Dr. Argyle has received specialized training in dental implant placement, dental sleep medicine for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, and TMJ therapy for individuals suffering from headaches and pain. He is one of only a couple of dentists in the state of Utah certified as a Qualified Dentist with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is involved with local study clubs as well as multiple international study clubs that consist of the top dentists in the world in the prevention and treatment of sleep apnea including the Spencer Study Club and ASAP Pathway.

Out of the OfficeDr. Argyle loves to spend time with his family almost anywhere. He has a wonderful wife and two great kids. During the summer he loves to ride his mountain bike all over the mountains of Northern Utah and the rocks of Central and Southern Utah. Recently he has developed a passion for wake surfing and wakefoiling on the lake. If he is not on his biker behind a boat, you can find him standing in the river with his fly rod. In the winter he enjoys snowboarding and skiing. Dr. Argyle is constantly involved in the community. He is often found coaching various sports groups or helping with different service projects. He is also involved in raising oral health awareness in the community by visiting various elementary schools and teaching the youth how to properly care for their teeth as well as continually supporting the communitys events.

The first weekend of June Dr. Argyle had the opportunity to attend the 26th annual meeting for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. This was a quick (and tiring) trip where he along with 3000 other member dentists of the AADSM received extensive continuing education topics related to obstructive sleep apnea. Most of the leading medical and dental experts in the field of sleep medicine lectured. Dr. Argyle gained great training and insight to continue to advance his practice in dental sleep medicine and to be able to better help any of his patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea.

Some of the local areas of interest in Boston including: St. Charles River, Boston Public Garden, Famous Brownstones on Commonwealth Ave, Faneuil Hall, and the Old State House. Dr. Argyle made the best of his Sunday afternoon as he made his way to the airport by foot he was able to catch a lot of the famous Freedom Trail.

Dr. Argyles favorite meal of the trip. If you are ever in Boston make sure you swing by Lukes Lobster and enjoy one of there amazing lobster rolls. If you cant decide on whether you want the lobster, crab, or shrimp roll, you better go with Lukes Trio and get 1/2 of each of them!

Overall, it was an amazing trip with fantastic training and education. All of the major sleep appliance labs were in the exhibit hall along with all of the other leading industry experts to answer questions and display the latest and greatest in dental sleep medicine and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. This was also Dr. Argyles first trip back to New England since he finished dental school at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. New England brings back a lot of good memories for him and his family.
