In a basic sense, our name means moral virtue or excellence of any kind. But its deeper than that, Aret is a lifestyle, it is our constant journey. Bound within this concept is the underlying notion of absolute fulfillment of purpose and function: the act of living up to ones full potential through achieving excellence in all aspects of life. If perfection were the end goal, excellence would be the process, and Aret would be the constant frame of mind.
All we do is focused on you, your excellent experience, building your trust and making sure that you are heard and understood. We are nothing without you and thats not just a slogan, its the truth of what we value.

Literally everyone at Arete Smile Design Center was so incredibly kind and personable! I am beyond grateful to have found a Dental office that I not only have great confidence in but they made me feel so welcome! I had the privilege of having Dr. Carlisle provide my care and he is such a great guy, I appreciate that he really spent quality time explaining various options of treatment. You can tell when people love their profession and that atmosphere definitely exists at Arete!

Absolutely adore the office staff and the doc, they are terrific. Terrible procedure, and the worst anesthesiologist I have ever encountered- very unprofessional. 100% regret the decision to do this- should have saved the $18,000. I did Pure Smile last November, it's now 7 months later and my gums have yet to recover. I try to not smile which is difficult. There is no going back unfortunately.

Dr Carlial Is a great dentist! He makes you feel calm, important and is very thorough with his work. He explains the process and let's you know exactly what he is be doing next so there are no surprises. I personally appreciate this because I'm terrified of dentists. His calm patient down to earth personality as well as his welcoming staff makes it a great experience and helps with my anxiety I highly recommend him and his dental office to anyone

Dr. Davis helped me through some very complex dental work. Other dentists would have given up, but Dr. Davis worked to get it right. He is an excellent dental surgeon-- no one is better at doing implants. And, everyone working at Arete Smile Design Center has been great! This is the first time I have written a review but I just needed to write one for Dr.Davis and his assistant, secretary, and office staff, it was truly a wonderful and amazing experience. From the beginning, taking attention to every detail as far as filming how I talk and figuring out what would be the most natural look that would fit me. The process was not short, but in the end I deeply enjoy my smile. It looks very natural and I get many compliments. I recommend Dr.Davis to anyone for his attentiveness and his ability to find the best natural look for anyone.

This review has been put off way to long after too many years. Short story is that Dr. Davis is a perfectionist and with everyone on his team... they are who you want to have your back. I started coming from California to Dr. Davis because of a issue with my front teeth. I had to receive an implant and we needed a dentist in Utah while I was going to school here. From the very beginning it was impressive the care that we received from doctor Davis and his team and I dont think I could go into all the details about what they have done for me. I still drive an hour to go here and will be the only dentist I will go to while living here in Utah. Even if I live out of state I would fly to have the work needed done by Doctor Davis if it is something other than a teeth cleaning, etc. I have absolute complete trust in work done by Arete Design center.

I'd like to start this review by thanking everyone who has written one. Each unique experience, helped me feel confident in beginning my journey here. I flew in from Orange County, CA July 2021 and it's been the best decision I have ever made for myself and my health. Prior to meeting Dr.Davis I had 8 poorly done veneers that desperately needed replacing. I was able to bring old photos of how my teeth use to look before I had veneers done. Dr.Davis recreated my old smile but a better version! He brought back my bunny teeth but the 5.0 version. Dr. Davis is an incredible dentist; he knows exactly what makes a smile true to your face, lips and personality. I will admit I'm a handful of a patient.I have dental anxiety, I'm a cry baby and I can't stand the noise of the drill. Dr.Davis helped me relax and made sure I felt comfortable at every appointment. For a very long time, one of my biggest insecurities was my smile. Fast forward to today my only regret in life is not meeting Dr.Davis sooner. It wouldn't have been possible without Him and his incredible team. A big thank you to Janet because she is an Angel who treated me like family from the start. Dr. Davis comes from a family of dentists; his father and grandfather were dentists. Which reassures me that I will be seeing him until he retires. He is the true definition of what Arete means, which is excellence! I get so many compliments on my teeth; I do a happy dance when random strangers say they love my smile. I love the way I look in my pictures; my teeth make me feel so pretty! Investing in your smile is the best thing you can ever do. Despite us being our own biggest critics, we also are our biggest investment.

My family has been seeing Dr. Davis for our dental needs for years. The new office is beautiful and staffed with wonderful people. Dr. Carlisle has joined the team and is so kind and genuine. He was so patient with my nervous daughter when she needed a filling, explaining the process every step of the way to help her feel comfortable. I appreciate that when you are there, you feel as if you are the only patient - all their focus and concern is addressing the reason for your visit in the best way possible.

Arete's staff is awesome!!! Dr. Davis is skilled in his work and we always have great conversation whether getting a cleaning or a crown! I've been going to Arete and it's prior iteration for nearly 20 years. There are a lot of dentists closer to my home and my office, but none better!

Team Arete is the best! Great service. Gentle on the mouth. Flexible. And best of all genuinely friendly, great people. Can't say enough good things about them. This was the third crown I have had installed...Dr. Carlisle did a GREAT job. I, more or less, just realized for an hour or so while listening to Black Sabbath. No pain or discomfort during or after! Amazing!

The whole staff is incredible from the very instant you walk in till the time you walk out. The continually ask if you need anything and make sure you are doing well through your whole procedure. I definitely would recommend this place if you are getting dental work done.
