Dr. Candace Thomas started her career path in 1998, after completing her Bachelors degree in Science, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. Dr. Thomas received her commission as a United States Army Medical Service Officer in 1998. Dr. Thomas earned the rank of Captain, prior to completing her service obligation. Dr. Candace R. Thomas is a Howard University College of Dentistry graduate, obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008.
After completion of her Doctoral in Dental Surgery, Dr. Thomas was selected to attend Howard University College of Dentistry's Advance Education in General Dentistry program. The Advance General Dentistry program, provided advance training in all phases of general dentistry including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, operative/restorative dentistry, endodontics, fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, implantology, oral surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology, patient management, practice management, conscious sedation, and risk management. Dr. Thomas has been serving this community as a General Dentist since 2009 and currently is a board member for the U.S. Veteran Affairs Patient Care Committee, Stockbridge, GA. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association as well as the National Dental Association.
