Dr. Candace Thomas started her career path in 1998, after completing her Bachelors degree in Science, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. Dr. Thomas received her commission as a United States Army Medical Service Officer in 1998. Dr. Thomas earned the rank of Captain, prior to completing her service obligation. Dr. Candace R. Thomas is a Howard University College of Dentistry graduate, obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008.
After completion of her Doctoral in Dental Surgery, Dr. Thomas was selected to attend Howard University College of Dentistry's Advance Education in General Dentistry program. The Advance General Dentistry program, provided advance training in all phases of general dentistry including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, operative/restorative dentistry, endodontics, fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, implantology, oral surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology, patient management, practice management, conscious sedation, and risk management. Dr. Thomas has been serving this community as a General Dentist since 2009 and currently is a board member for the U.S. Veteran Affairs Patient Care Committee, Stockbridge, GA. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association as well as the National Dental Association.

Lovely staff from front to back of this facility. Very clean and humble atmosphere. Better high tech than most dental facilities in the area. I definitely recommend Arena Dental Group!

My first visit on 11-01-22 and it was professional and phenomenal from the front desk, consultation all the way to the examining room. Dr. Candace has excellent knowledge and care. Everyone on staff treated me very well!

I absolutely love this dentist!. My first visit was amazing. The facility was clean, presentable and welcoming. Everyone on the staff were kind, understanding and very knowledgeable. They happily answered all of my questions regarding my treatment and provided the best customer service experience ever. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about choosing Arena Dental due to the reviews they received. However, after my initial visit, I was very pleased with my decision. Well deserved 5 Stars! Dr. Thomas is outstanding!. Professional, caring and very kind. Happy to make this my new dental home!

Mrs.Esther was a sweetheart I'm excited to make this my new dental home . Seems like a close knit dental office. I came in for an emergency appointment I have a hole in my tooth along with an abscess, very painful. I will say I wish they could extract my tooth theirs elves Vs sending elsewhere. They gave me antibiotics and pain meds and the pain meds didn't stop the pain. Although I still have some issues I feel like I was handled quickly and pray for relief in the days coming .

All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I always feel well taken care of when I come get work done. I just experienced my second visit and was able to get seen really fast and efficiently. Everyone there is a true professional and I will be back.

Dr. Thomas was so nice and all the staff too! Nice and sparkly clean office. I was seen quickly and most importantly, treated fairly after falsely being diagnosed with gum disease and offered a 2600$ treatment plan at a chain dentist (great expressions) Dr. Thomas was honest about the fact it was just gingivitis and that I just need a 99$ cleaning. So happy I found this place and I will 100% be back.

I had a great experience. I was a little nervous at first. I always get anxious when I have to go to the dentist. However, everyone was so polite and made me feel very comfortable. This was my first visit to Arena Dental and it definitely will not be my last. Kudos to all the staff

Absolutely LOVE the professionalism! This was my first visit with Dr.Thomas and she took time to explain my dental situation, she didn't push me off to the dental hygienist to get to the next patient because I was only coming in for the initial work-up. I thank her for caring enough to make me feel comfortable as a first time patient. The level of professionalism was outstanding from the receptionist, to the assistant etc... The environment was super clean and modern! Let me also say, that it was a good even flow of patients. Super proud to be a patient of Dr. Thomas.

Horrible service and I never even schedule my initial appointment. I've been to several dentist office and Dr's office and they have never asked me for a 1800 number to verify my insurance. So you all telling me I got to look up an exact number for you all? You all should be able to do this on your end. And for Jessica and whoever else I've talked to talking about transferring my call to Clayton County police dept was crazy. I can call and talk anyway I want to and don't need anybody telling me otherwise. Would not recommend if this was the last place to go on earth.
