Invisalign is a type of clear aligner that can align your teeth without the unsightly look of conventional braces. Adults who want to get that perfect smile, without the hassle of traditional methods, can now opt for Invisalign and get an orthodontic treatment that is comfortable, efficient and virtually invisible.
Digital impressions will first be taken of your teeth. Dr. Formoli will send the details of your teeth to the Invisalign lab along with a written report of your oral examination and a prescription. Using your teeth impression the lab will make a mold of your teeth so that custom-made aligners can be prepared to fit you perfectly.The images and mold of your teeth will also be used to make a computerized model of your teeth. A special software will use the computer model to predict the course of your Invisalign treatment. You will be sent a copy of this treatment plan. Let Dr. Formoli know if you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment plan. Modifications can be made to the plan, if required, before the first set of aligners are prepared.Once your Invisalign aligner is ready, the clear tray will be fitted for you by Dr. Formoli. The aligners are made of very thin plastic and will feel comfortable once you get used to them. Invisalign aligners can be removed while eating and when brushing your teeth. You will be advised to wear the aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours per day.
All healthy adults can opt for Invisalign treatment after consulting with their orthodontist. Invisalign is not recommended for children whose jaws have not fully developed, conventional braces are recommended in this case. Invisalign might not be recommended for you if the extent of unevenness in your teeth is beyond the scope of treatment.
Overcrowding towards the back of the jaw is not easily corrected with Invisalign aligners, and it might need a different form of treatment. There are no known risks or side effects to Invisalign, but you should consult your dentist if you feel any pain or discomfort during the treatment. If you are suffering from other dental conditions, these might need to be addressed before treatment with Invisalign.
Severe gum disease disqualifies you from getting Invisalign aligners because your gums won’t be strong enough to support the aligners. I came to Arden Park Dental Care to have a crown put on after having a root canal. It was pretty expensive (1000+) but that's what I was expecting. The procedure seemed to go pretty smoothly at first but after about a week I had a weird taste in my mouth around the crown and something felt off. I went back to Arden Park so that they could take a look and see if anything was wrong with the crown but they assured me it was fine. I trusted that they knew what they were doing and went on my way. One year later I went to a new dentist who pointed out in my X-rays that the crown is clearly not situated correctly and has a large gap between the tooth where food can accumulate. The new dentist recommended having it replaced, so I had him send the X-rays to Arden Park and asked if they could replace the crown and they agreed that they would replace it for no charge. When it comes time for the appointment I make the long drive over (I have moved by now) and they only now tell me that when they originally did the crown there was a problem with the insurance and they won't replace the crown until I pay ~250 more. This is one year later and they wont fix their shoddy dental work until I pay more which they didn't tell me for over a year and didn't tell me until I had already driven already over. Edit: They reached out to me again and fixed the crown after agreeing to waive the extra cost. Best I can give is 3 stars because it never should have been this difficult to resolve this. I shouldn't have to leave a bad review to get adequate dental care.

Dr. Formoli is an excellent dentist. She is thorough, honest, ethical, attentive and competent. She ask questions and explains procedures/treatments in detail. I have went to other dentist in the area and she is by far the best. On top of Dr. Formoli excellent services the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Very professional clean good customer service and honest doctor opinion I went to another clinic they told me I need a crown and I have a cavity I came for second opinion to Dr Formoly she took x-ray and give me an honest opinion and told me that I do not need anything my tooth is completely good and I have no problem I appreciate her honesty and her staff good customer service I have recommended everyone if they need a second opinion go to her.

Dr. Formoli and her team are an answer to your prayers for a great dentist! From a painfree cleaning to a painfree tooth removal, I'm completey in! I'm going on to do invisalign, an implant and hopefully at the end of it all, veneers. Its a complete refreshing of my oral health. Thank you to the entire team there!!

The first time I walked into Arden Park Dental I felt comfortable, everyone was so friendly and helpful and treated you like family. I had implants and upper plat that was done for me, I have not been fond of dentist for a long time and Dr. Formoli &Olga made me feel like I never felt before at the Dentist office. They did such great work on my implants and upper plat that I feel like I was born with them and I can't thank them enough for the great work that they have done. I would have no problem referring them to anyone else who needs Dental work done I believe that because they do such good work and treat you like family. I again want to thank Dr. Formoli &Olga for what they have done for me!!

Terrific dentist! Dr.Formoli and staff is very wonderful. Working with everyone has been a pleasure I couldn't ask for a better group of people. I highly recommend this office for anyone that needs dental care. Financially they are willing to help anyone they can. I appreciate the financial advise that they have given. The staff were very nice and helpful. I've been going there for over two years now, and my teeth are much more healthy. My gums no longer bleed and my teeth are way less sensitive to hot and cold food. Doctor formoli is passionate about her work.

A high rating on all of the points that count, i.e., friendliness, professionalism, thoroughness, and efficiency. I'm giving five stars though there were a couple of oversights they should address. One, the 5% discount for paying in full the same day work is scheduled only applies to non-members. That should be stated on the printout. Two, though the cleanings are prepaid, I was not told that the fluoride and irrigation cost extra until the day of my appt. It would be better if this were mentioned at the time the patient pays for the membership so there is no misunderstanding. Three, the discount card included in the welcome package for new patients is intended for a friend or family member whom the new patient is referring, not for the new patient him or her self. I'm a new patient so I thought it was for me, until it was explained to me otherwise. Still a great first appt experience though, so five stars.

I can't believe it took me over 60 years to find Dr. Formoli. She is a consummate professional and her crew is the best . She pulled a molar 4 days ago and I have had no pain or discomfort. She is so smooth and knowledgeable I completely trust her to take good care of me.

People from Sacramento I DO NOT recommend this dentist ! A family relative recently went in on January to fix her teeth they made her sign documents telling her they were going to fix them and after taking out ALL of her top teeth , and making fun of her for giving her a wrong size dental implant and making her pay $12,000 . She returned for an appointment on May and they told her they were NOT going to help her nor put in the top teeth that they were going to screw in ! They told her if she wanted the teeth she had to pay $5,000 for each tooth !! And after the dentist left the room , her secretary told her that she couldn't do anything because of the papers they had her sign !! They only returned $2,000 ! Please do not go her I DO NOT wish this upon anybody ! These people did a horrible job , humiliated her and yet asked her for more money!
