Lindsey was born and raised in West Asheville and currently lives in Hendersonville with her husband, Zack. She started working in dentistry in 2013. Lindsey brings many years of dental administration & dental insurance knowledge to the office. Each day she strives to make sure all patients have a friendly & positive dental experience.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending quality time with her family, watching NFL football (GO PANTHERS), relaxing on the front porch with a good book or going on long walks with her dogs Pearl & Enzo.
Amber is a native to the Asheville area. She graduated from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College in 2006, with her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is continuing her education & is working to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Psychology through Fayetteville State University.
Victoria was born & raised in Marion, where she met & later married her high school sweetheart. She graduated from Western Piedmont Community College in 2017, & has been working as a dental assistant for the last four years. Dr. Mooney & Victoria have worked alongside each other for many years, & make an outstanding team. Victoria enjoys helping her patients maintain a beautiful smile & educating them about the importance of good oral health.
Victoria loves spending time with her family. She has two perfect children & a dog named Max. She & her husband are in the process of building their dream home, & are excited for its completion. On the weekends her family enjoys rooting for their favorite college football team Alabama, ROLL TIDE!
Dr. Valerie Mooney is committed to providing excellent dental care. She graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2010 with a bachelors degree in biology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2016.
She has continued her education at the Spear Academy Advanced Treatment Planning & is a member of the American Dental Association, the Buncombe County Dental Society & the Spear Study Club. Dr. Mooney also volunteers her services at the North Carolina Missions of Mercy free dental clinics, which she joined in 2007.

If your looking for a dentist, I adamantly recommend Valerie Mooney!! I drive an hour and 15 minutes from Mcdowell County just to come see her. she is the best Dentis I've ever had. I have a lot of problems with my teeth and I wouldn't trust anybody else with them but her. Her bedside manner is remarkable she makes me feel calm and at ease, trust me you want to go here! The receptionist was friendly and the dental hygienist that clean my teeth was so professional I want her to do it every time. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but I feel a little bit better knowing that I am going to Arden family dentistry!

9/20/22 was my first visit to Arden Family Dentistry, and it was a great experience. Bright, clean, modern office. Friendly staff. My cleaning and exam (with bite wing x-rays) was quick and (mostly) painless. And my hygienist, Amber, certainly comes across as someone who enjoys her job. I definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a dentist.

I hadn't been to the dentist for several years and was apprehensive in choosing a new dentist. My insurance carrier listed Arden Family Dentistry and it was close by so I scheduled an appointment. As soon as I was seated in the chair I told the hygienist, Karen, that I didn't want it to hurt and I hoped she didn't ask a lot of questions while my teeth were being cleaned and inspected. She was perfect - the best hygienist I have ever used. So pleasant and gentle but thorough. Then I met Dr. Mooney who was very personable and professional and not at all "pushy" about unnecessary or future dental work. I am thoroughly happy with my choice of a new dental practice!

My first visit! Dr Valerie and the entire team were very nice, friendly and helpful! Plus the place is clean and tidy. My second of two deep cleanings was done today. Dr Valerie and Karen did an outstanding job of being gentle, kind, friendly and making me comfortable. The entire team from checking in and out were very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Arden Family Dentistry!

First time at this office today. We had a regular cleaning appointment for August, but my kid was having trouble with one of her teeth, and they were able to work us in the same day I called. Nice staff, professional, and not a long wait at all.

Just moved to the Fletcher area and needed to establish a local dentist. Made an appointment with Arden Family Dentistry and I am totally happy that I did. From the check-in desk, through the procedures and back through check out everyone I encountered was professional, friendly and contributed to a most enjoyable experience. First time patient. Everyone I met from the front desk to the hygienist to Dr. Mooney was friendly and helpful. Equipment was modern, office was pleasant, and Dr. Mooney answered all of my questions.
