Dr. Poornima Talluri is a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) trained, and board-certified General and Cosmetic dentist. In addition to graduating from one of the worlds top universities for dentistry, she provided over a dozen years of highly skillful, compassionate dental care to thousands of patients.
Dr. Talluri is passionate about practicing dentistry as both science and art. She performs complex dental procedures such as full mouth reconstruction, multiple-unit bridges, veneers, etc. She actively attends dental seminars, continuing education courses, study groups, and other specialized events to keep herself up to date on the latest advancements and best practices. She is a professional affiliated with organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS).
Dona began her dental career over 30 years ago as a dental assistant. Her current role is that of the front office manager. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys making patients feel at ease. Dona loves the beach, reading, and dining out. Her daughter is studying at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo.
My name is Kristina P. Dentistry is a passion of mine, and I have worked in the dental field for over 10 years. On my days off you can find me out exploring our beautiful city of Sacramento or road-tripping throughout California.
I love being a hygienist, working with Dr. Talluri, and a wonderful team. I graduated from Dental Hygiene school several years ago and also teach new hygienists locally. It is so important to me that patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene and the impact on their overall health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and adorable little boy, Avery. Hope to meet you soon.

You guys are so low ! My daughter came in and you took advantage of her because she was 18 and without a apparent ! First you took her money and said you couldn't do anything because you needed to check insurance then on Monday when she went in and checked her insurance and knew she couldn't get stuff worked on you took her money again then you referred her to another dentist out of network that took her money you should be ashamed of your self !!

May 2022 Update: I still believe in the hygenist and Dr. Talluri, but the staff there! Frankly, I was surprised that they kept Jackie and the receptionist from the previous dentist. Now try to get an appointment, I was ignored at first and had to reach out 2-3 times only to NOT get an appointment. Dr. Talluri, you need to get your own staff that are loyal to you. These guys are not! Searching for a new dentist and hygienist. Very disappointing.

People from Sacramento I DO NOT recommend this dentist ! A family relative recently went in on January to fix her teeth they made her sign documents telling her they were going to fix them and after taking out ALL of her top teeth , and making fun of her for giving her a wrong size dental implant and making her pay $12,000 . She returned for an appointment on May and they told her they were NOT going to help her nor put in the top teeth that they were going to screw in ! They told her if she wanted the teeth she had to pay $5,000 for each tooth !! And after the dentist left the room , her secretary told her that she couldn't do anything because of the papers they had her sign !! They only returned $2,000 ! Please do not go her I DO NOT wish this upon anybody ! These people did a horrible job , humiliated her and yet asked her for more money!

My husband went for deep teeth cleaning at Arden Dental Care and he was amazed how good the service was. Needless to say he was very happy so I decided to try it for myself. I am so happy I did, Doctor Poornima take really good care of me and her staff are all amazing, they are all professional. You can feel that they truly care about their patient. I appreciate the detailed explanation of everything from treatment to payment. Everyone in this office are very thorough and efficient. Now my entire family goes to Arden Dental Care and we couldn't be happier.

It took me a long time to feel comfortable enough to go to the dentist due to very bad experiences. The minute I walked into the office all my fears melted away I was greeted by people who's personality's reminded me of a hug. My biggest fear was showing my teeth because I'm self conscious and had been made fun of talked down to etc.... But I was able to without feeling Judged and that meant the most to me If I could give a million stars I most definitely would. If you fear Judgment or Negative experiences with a dentist This is the office you need to be at because once you step in that fear really does melt away and are replaced with hope, opportunities, and actions that lead to the smile you see yourself having. I appreciate everyone in the office.

The dentist I think was good and she was very nice. However I made an appointment as a new patient for a cleaning. The first visit they took a bunch of xrays (even though they did say they could see my previous dentists xrays) and determined i lost a filling and needed a crown. i got no cleaning/polishing. i was told i needed root planing. i asked for just a regular cleaning first. i was told my out of pocket is like $700 (i do have dental insurance). i told them i don't want to do the deep cleaning now/too much at one time and went back for filling and crown drill out. My out of pocket around $500. no cleaning/polishing and I said no to more xrays. I asked a third time for a cleaning and polishing and when i went into the office they asked me what i was asking for and at this point, i said "nevermind". i had the crown put on. no cleaning/polishing and i said no to xrays again ( i don't want all the unnecessary radiation) but on the way out,I was asked if i wanted to make a cleaning appt and I said no. Because I felt it should have been done the first visit, when i scheduled it, before all the xrays etc etc. The dentist is good but there is not any attention to basic care. So I will not be going back.

My experience at Arden Dental has been wonderful! These are a group of dedicated professionals who are focused and highly competent yet also very friendly and consciously supportive. The practice is also well organized for and focused on patient satisfaction, with personal and digital contact before and after procedures, along with a "bedside manner" which left me feeling calm, understood, and very well-cared for. What a difference from other dental experiences I've had! I feel very fortunate to have found Arden Dental . . .

I had a cleaning done yesterday and the hygienist Erika is awesome! Erika is gentle yet very thorough in her cleanings you will leave with your teeth feeling so clean. Dr. Tulleri is such a great dentist she's conservative with her diagnosis and shows you with a camera the areas of concern. Definitely recommend Arden Dental care!
