Dr. Brian Judd completed residency in endodontics at Saint Louis Universitys Center for Advanced Dental Education where he served as chief resident and received a Masters degree in Dentistry. During his time in residency, he performed research on some of endodontics most advanced technology and techniques.
Dr. Judd practices the full scope of endodontics which includes root canal treatment, internal tooth bleaching, root end surgery (apicoectomy), and other surgeries related to the roots of teeth. He finds the most satisfaction in alleviating pain, helping to eliminate infections, and playing a part in patients maintaining their natural teeth.
Dr. Judd met his wife, Jamie, while he was completing dental school. She had recently finished her Bachelors degree in Political Science and was working as an intern at a law firm in Denver. They chose Saint Louis, Missouri to be near her family. The two like playing racquetball and volleyball, and have enjoyed raising their 4 daughters: Jane, Lily, Vera, and Grace. Dr. Judd spends time in his local church where he is a teacher for the youth group and helps plan their activities. He enjoys the outdoors and received his Eagle Scout award. Dr. Judd speaks fluent French and has lived in Mexico, Spain, France, and Switzerland.

My dentist had been urging me to get a root canal for several years and I had avoided doing it as long as possible. I had heard all the horror stories. I finally got got the work done yesterday and cannot say enough about Dr Judd and his staff at Archway Endodontics. He was very patient and careful about explaining the process. He communicated throughout the procedure and he & his assistant went out of their way to help me relax. Although he warned of possible soreness this morning I was fine & didn't even need a Tylenol! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

What an amazing group of professionals in this practice. Dr. Judd is the best!! He is kind, respectful and so caring. His dental assistant, Sophie, is so soft spoken and knowledgeable, and they make a great team. From the front line staff who is so friendly, and Amy, who does a fantastic job working with the insurance companies, I cannot say enough. They are exceptional people with exceptional people skills, and I am so glad to be their patient!!

I cannot thank Dr. Judd and his team enough! After experiencing severe pain waiting for a root canal, I contacted Archway Endodontics and they have been nothing but amazing throughout this entire process! I appreciate their responsive communication and compassion for their patients. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking dental care.

Root canals really aren't anything I'd characterize as pleasant or enjoyable but everyone in the office was helpful, professional, courteous and put themselves out to ensure I could get the work done before going on vacation. Everyone came in early because there were no open appointments before I was due to leave. I'm optimistic that the work was carefully done as Dr Judd was methodical, calm and focused, taking care to create a sterile environment for the tooth and using high-powered magnification aids. He answered all my questions without appearing impatient. If I discover that my tooth picks up radio signals or dissolves or explodes or erupts I'll be sure to update this review - but I do not expect this to be necessary.

Dr. Judd and his team are first rate. So friendly and helpful from the first phone call. Dr. Judd is calm and such a caring doctor. He came very highly recommended and I agree with that assessment. I felt my needs were met at every level. They did everything to make me comfortable. I had a root canal on an old crown and Dr. Judd was very skilled in the procedure. I could not have asked for a better experience. Aimee and Tori we're both so amazing, they definitely made the experience so much better! The Doctor who performed my root canal was kind and gentle, I didn't feel anything!!! It was such a pleasure going somewhere that had top-notch customer service.

I'm writing this review to pay it forward to those of you who, like my better half, are suspicious of reviews. Found this place on my own from the rave reviews and couldn't be happier. Amy, who answered the phone was my first point of contact and she was very pleasant and helpful. Actually got me in quicker due to a cancellation. Located inside of a big plaza so parking isn't an issue. Dr. Judd and Sophia took great care of me, explained every step, and numbed me up well. The root canal took two visits but that shows the team isn't trying to get you in and out. They did a great job and made me feel comfortable which isn't always the case when you're having your mouth probed. I was so happy that I asked if they also did general dentistry because I was ready to switch on the spot. Unfortunately, Dr. Judd's specialty are root canals, ha! In conclusion, I'd 100% recommend this A-Team, oh and the Ted Drewes ice cream is true!
