Orthodontists are specialists by definition. Every doctor at ARCH has completed at least an additional two years of study in the field of Orthodontics, following four required years of dental school. At ARCH, we believe in expanding upon those already high standards of expertise. Which is why we recently added a pediatric dental specialist to our staff in Stoughton. She, along with our orthodontists, have unique training in patient evaluation, including assessment of growth patterns, familial traits, facial geometry, individual emotional development, and personal expectations. We are also dedicated to ongoing education. The doctors and caregivers at ARCH keep up to date with advancements in orthodontic treatment. We follow current literature in the field and attend workshops, lectures, and hands-on training sessions. In short, we are the experts in Orthodontics and even as the world changes, our level of care remains constant.

Life is full of moments about which to smile! At ARCH, we know that a healthy, beautiful smile can contribute to our patients confidence and happiness. A great smile helps to create a fantastic impression in both personal and professional situations. Whether were working with a young person facing the rigors of adolescence or an adult looking to capitalize on new opportunities, our patients lives are sure to be filled with smiles and success as a direct result of our combined efforts and mutual goal achievements.

ARCH is a community, built upon collaborations between doctors, staff, and the people we serve. We are committed to providing respectful and supportive environments for our team and patients alike. While excellent care and professionalism are key aspects of our practice, we also believe in nurturing genuine feelings of care, concern, and compassion for the individuals and families we treat.

Being the orthodontic and pediatric office of choice in the areas and communities surrounding each of our locations, serving populations who need and/or desire our services and providing a reliable source of specialists where local doctors can comfortably refer their patients. We will continue to learn and improve as our field grows in terms of knowledge and technology, and we will treat each and every patient with the highest level of care. Using SPIRE as our compass for behaviors, we are dedicated to being the best local orthodontic and pediatric group practice and ensuring each patient has an amazing experience with us.

For over four decades, Robert Chavez, has been treating generations of families and their smiles from Boston to Cape Cod. Starting in Stoughton, Dr. Chavez created the flagship ARCH Orthodontics location in 1974 before building the trusted multi-location practice that exists today. He was joined in the practice by his son, Dr. Andrew Chase, in 1998.

While in dental school, Dr. Chavez worked as a teacher pursuing a dedication to education that had deep-seeded roots within his family, dating back to his grandfather and grandmother who taught in Russia.

Theres a love of giving and creating a cooperative society that was exemplified in the old days of education, Dr. Chavez said. This role of teacher translates to the role of doctor as a means of communicating with patients and parents. Its about using my profession as a creative expression of who I am, and what Id like to have as far as healing the world and making sure my team is able to operate effectively, efficiently, and joyfully in their chosen work, he said.

Dr. Chavez has assembled a passionate team, dedicated to providing the most comprehensive, caring, and complete Orthodontic care to patients of all ages. The team is committed to a simple mission: To be the best Orthodontic group practice and give patients the best possible smile for the rest of their lives.

The secret to creating generations of beautiful smiles means treating people so well that they have an exceptionally pleasant experience which they remember. That leads to long-lasting memories, and friendships through which we become family. That closeness and trust starts with our youngest patients.

Dr. Chavez looks to his role of Dad to four fabulous children as the apex of his life. Along with the joy of being a husband, Dr Chavez rounds out his life with golf, fishing, sculpting, drawing, carpentry, metal working, building and remodeling houses. It is a delight working with and enjoying the relationships of thousands of patients, parents and friends developed through ARCH over four decades, he said.

For Andrew Chase, DMD, MSD, Orthodontics is a family affair working alongside his father Dr. Robert Chavez at ARCH since 1998. Together, they have improved tens of thousands of smiles and lives from Boston to Cape Cod.

Whats kept him in the business? The future, more specifically, his patients future. Dr. Chase enjoys the satisfaction of knowing he can change the way patients of all ages experience life by correcting and perfecting something as evident as their smile.

We are improving the lives of people in ways that many dont even realize are happening. Were effectively changing their future, said Dr. Chase. Patients who come to us enter an environment where theyre surrounded by professionals who truly love what they do. We dont approach our work like its a job. Were creating and customizing smiles. We help to create dreams. Call us dream enablers!

Dr. Chase grew up in the Bronx, but eventually settled in the Boston area where he started working with his father, Dr. Robert Chavez, founder of ARCH, and became engaged with patients and their families not just in the office, but also in the community.

Its so rewarding to really get to know who our patients truly are. We spend years with them during treatment and develop a relationship with entire families that is very unique, said Dr. Chase. You see the transformation in their smile and their life. Theres nothing more special than putting a smile on someones face and having such a positive impact on their life. We do that through Orthodontics and having fun in the office.

For Dr. Chase, being exceptional at what he does is truly who he is. All of our team members approach our lives both professionally and personally with our ARCH philosophy, the acronym SPIRE: Support, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.

Dr. Chase stays busy outside the office with wife Kimberly and their two daughters, Chloe and Mila. He also enjoys boxing, working out, cooking, barbecuing, traveling, skiing, snowboarding, and just being outdoors.

ARCH Orthodontics - Orthodontist in Hyde Park, MA

Dr. David Cabeceiras, a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he completed his postgraduate training in Orthodontics, and a long-time member of the schools Orthodontic faculty, has joined ARCH Orthodontics, welcoming patients in their Bridgewater (Mass.) office.

The announcement was made by Dr. Andrew Chase, ARCH principal and past President of the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists. A 45-year-old practice, ARCH has nine offices from Boston to Cape Cod.

Dr. Chase says, Dr. Cabeceiras has a long track record of exceptionalism that fits nicely with our team who approach our lives both professionally and personally with ARCHs philosophy, the acronym SPIRE: Support, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.

On accepting the position, Dr. Cabeceiras said, ARCH offers a great opportunity to continue a high level of care in a patient-centered environment with the most up-to-date technology including digital radiology and CBCT scans. A group practice allows doctors to share ideas to solve complex problems which raises the standard of care for patients. These attributes combined with great assistants and staff are the reasons why I decided to join the practice.

It was in dental school that Dr. Cabeceiras decided to specialize in the treatment of children: Orthodontics has such a great impact on a childs dental growth and development. No two cases are alike so the challenge of diagnosis and individualizing treatment plans is what most appeals to me. One patient anecdote stands out. In 2006, Dr Cabeceiras read an article concerning a former patient who was selected as Miss Massachusetts. I contacted her and she visited the office. It was a treat to see her all grown up and on her way as we all shared in her accomplishment. She sent me a signed photo thanking me for her smile that hangs in the waiting room for patients to admire.

Actually really love this place! The staff are great, the protocol for Covid provides security when going in, they answer all my annoying questions and most importantly this is the only place that wasn't making me pull out teeth just to get braces. The experience has been flawless so far.

(Translated by Google) My experience with this place was not pleasant, the first thing is the communication which is terrible, they always tell you to call to schedule your appointment and it is not true. The disorganized and unprofessionalism is constant. My son had an appointment scheduled for the braces and after we arrived on time and had everything approved, they told me that the plan had denied it that the medical plan changes daily something that is a LIE I worked many years in a hospital and a medical plan does not change overnight and get me a service. I called the plan directly and corroborated the information in the same place and they told me it was approved and the young woman tells me that I had to start the process again and it was another lie. My son missed the appointment, I tried to explain to her again about the plan and about the mistake they made due to the LACK OF COMMUNICATION among their staff and she told me that she could no longer attend to me that she had more patients. SERVICIO FATAL

They are very difficult to reach over the phone. They have an answering service and try to call back promptly however it's difficult to get a live person to schedule and make follow up appointments via the phone. You have to have the patience for phone tag and must be diligent with recalling to try to connect.

So who do I have to call to get my teeth straight since I never want to get a call back. You guys take off my braces then leave me with a retainer that's hideous and barely does its job and I go back saying my teeth shifted and "fixed" my retainer and the bottom portion is crooked now. I'm even more self conscious then when I didn't have braces. Thanks.

I genuinely wish I could give this place 5 stars but the lack of communication and consistency in which arch supposedly strives for has NEVER been present. My expectations were not met and with me saying this to my one of six orthodontists it was simply disregarded and was hit with the blame as always. Almost three years of commitment and my teeth are not fully straight. It's almost impossible to get or adjust an appointment on the phone since they almost never call you back and you play phone tag for about 3-4 days. I recently got my braces off thinking I was done but I was left with protruding bottom teeth going in 4 different directions and told it was my fault because I wasn't wearing my retainer AND I had gotten my braces off early, but was it my decision on when I get to take them off to begin with? Answer me this arch, if my top teeth are perfectly straight and bottom aren't and you wear both retainers are the same time how could it be that it's my fault? Do I walk around wearing one retainer all day? Do I look like booboo the fool? And just when you REALLY think you are done with wire fear not because even the RETAINERS have them. Please arch review your staff's professionalism and own up to YOUR mistakes, not EVERY patient is to blame. Period.
