Dr. Sue Hong grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where she completed both a bachelors and a Master of Science degree in biology. Dr. Hong then moved to the East Coastto attend dental school at Columbia University in New York City, where she was named the Percy T. Phillips Student Scholar. She also received an award from the American Student Dental Association for excellence in leadership.
Following dental school, Dr. Hong moved to Philadelphia, PA with her husband who was beginning his residency in neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. There, she completed a one-year post-doctoral residency in general dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine before returning to New York for her orthodontic residency at New York University.
Dr. Hong had been in a full-time private orthodontic practice in thePhiladelphia areafrom 2005 until 2009, when she decided to move back to St. Louis and open her own practice in Hazelwood. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
As the receptionist and financial coordinator, I am able to interact with our patients on a daily basis to help make their orthodontic experiences positive. My duties include helping our patients with financial arrangements, billing, coordinating with insurance providers, and answering any questions they may have. I love working in orthodontics and seeing what a difference a wonderful smile makes in our patients lives.
My favorite thing about my job is our patients. Each patient is excited to be here, and they always know how to make me smile. We have a friendly, courteous team that contributes to a fun, social environment. I admire Dr. Hong for being such an excellent orthodontist. Her hard work and guidance has helped make my job very fulfilling.
Every day, I strive to treat our patients in a warm, compassionate manner; I want them to enjoy smiling, and to smile often! It doesnt hurt that our practice is such a fun place to be. We are constantly interacting with our patients, and trying to make sure that each person enjoys their time spent at our practice.

Today was my first appointment at 4:00pm . Was told to get there 15 minutes early . I signed all paperwork by 4:00 pm. At 4:24 pm I decided to go to the front to see what was taking so long. Was told that they was finishing up . 4:35 pm I went I the office for an consult. The staff asked me a few questions and walked out saying she will be right back . I waited and waited . Looked outside the office and she was sitting at the front desk on the computer . 4:51 pm I was still waiting so I walked out. Very unprofessional . Don't make a appointment here . It will be a waste of your time . They ignored me like I was a fly on the wall. And when I left it was over 5 people waiting smh
