Dr. Khan received her Doctor of Medical Sciences from Harvard University. She continued to pursue her graduate education at Boston University Henry. M Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She previously worked as a general dentist in Boston. Dr. Khan also worked in Harvard Childrens Hospital and has great amount of experience working with kids and adults. Dr. Khan is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, Valley District Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She is constantly keeping up with the newest and most current dental practice techniques.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with her 5 year old daughter and traveling around the world. Dr. Khan loves reading books and keeping up with the latest trends in cosmetic dentistry. She loves doing philanthropy and goes every year for 2 weeks to developing countries to spread awareness for the dental treatment needs.
Dr. Abbas Khan was born in Delhi, India. His early schooling was completed in convent high school, and at the age of 16, he started his preparation for dental exam. He cleared one of the most prestigious examinations for the Aligarh University and got his B.D.S (bachelor of dental surgery) degree in 2011. He was a very dedicated student and was top of his class and the university with 7 gold medals including the Presidents medal of honor in Public Health Dentistry. After obtaining his diploma he was offered an associate professor job at his dental school.
But, growing up in India he witnessed the growth of India as an industrial nation which brought with it prosperity, education and world class medical care. Unfortunately, these benefits were limited to only select few living in major cities and industrial hubs. He wanted to create an impact and learn about the public health and got accepted to Johns Hopkins University for the Master of Public Health (MPH). He still practiced dentistry with organizing dental camps and outreach with free dental exams for the socially deprived communities in Baltimore. He was also involved with Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins (SKCC) in designing a treatment protocols for oral cancers.
To finesse his dental skills further he pursued his dental degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2017. He was among the top of his class and was part of the Deans List. He received highest marks in the subject of Pharmacology with a record breaking 100% in the course. He also received highest marks in the subject of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Dr. Khan is avid skier and cyclist and loves playing basketball and soccer. In his spare time, he loves reading books and spending quality time with his friends and family. Chipped my front tooth and Arch contacted on Monday in the morning to schedule me that day to fix. Polite/effective front desk, Doctor was on point and fixed my tooth right then and there. I hate going to the dentist and reading some of these negative comments I was worried but, after going I'm wondering whats wrong with the people writing negative comments and not Arch. Maybe they are short staffed and you have to wait a little longer but it was worth it. Facility was clean, x-rays were handled professionally and quick and the dental assistant moved me through the process providing comfort and information.

EDIT: all of the 5 star reviews are FAKE! dentist is so dishonest they paid for fake bot reviews!! I found the hygienists to be pleasant but the dentists here are insensitive and seemingly uncaring with poor communication skills. I would especially avoid if you have a complicated or unusual medical history as they have little interest in understanding or making accommodations. THEY ALSO LIED about what work I needed done - I assume to get the insurance money!!! AVOID!!!

I've had a few serious medical issues and needed teeth pulled prior to treatment. I had 5 Teeth pulled! I was treated kindly. They got me in quickly and are very responsive to questions. Ty

The doctor I saw was cordial and efficient. Everyone else I encountered was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Teeth cleaning was minimal at best. The large number of positive reviews recently posted deserve your increased scrutiny!

An amazing experience. Felt like a VIP Patient. Professionalism all around the minute I walked in. Top of the line equipment and a thorough explanation of and assessment providing a clear understanding of what to guard against and tp expect in the future. I was well informed and grateful. I have been going to Dr. Khan for a very long time. I started going there when I was a little girl and his dad was the dentist. I have always found everyone in the office to be cheerful, caring, and very knowledgeable. The office is very clean, very comfortable, and I also enjoy the gardens. Today I came in to have my teeth cleaned and the hygienist was great! I recently had my first crown done and Dr. Khan took care of it in the same day. I was expecting some pain, but had none. Thank you Dr. Khan for being such a great dentist, hiring such a great staff, and having the newest and best equipment to service your patients. You are the best!

Arch Dental Care Northampton is worth the drive!!! My family all come from 45 minutes to an hour a way to see Dr. Khan and his staff! We have referred them to many friends and am happy to say that our daughter will be the 4th generation of patients from our family to see the fantastic staff at Arch Dental Care Northamptonl! You couldnt find any place better, and once you work with them you wont want to go anywhere else!

Dr. Khan is amazing!! My teeth are in bad shape and I thought all the top ones were going to have to be pulled but Dr. Khan is saving them from being pulled! I still have more work to be done but I'm actually excited to go back to the dentist

Would definitely recommend Arch Dental Care and Dr Khan! Especially for anyone, like me, who has a lot of anxiety around dental visits and procedures. I've had a lot of dental work in the past including a lot of negative experiences with dentists/dental procedures so I always dread finding a new dentist and having any dental work done. I was glad to find Arch Dental and have been very happy with the care I have received over the last couple of years. Dr Khan very friendly and good at putting you at ease during appointments. I especially appreciate how easy it is to get an appointment when I need one, how I'm always given an understandable explanation of different treatment options and time to decide what is best for me, as well as being talked through what was being done during procedures. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Best Dentist I have ever been too . There so caring and helpful . I'm not a fan of dentists at all but since I've started going here, I don't mind going at all . I actually look forward to going because I know they do such great work and always fix any problems I have . I was in such bad pain and didn't have any appointment . I called on a Saturday and they told me to come in immediately right then and there . Soon as I got there they pulled it and I was finished . Every time I need to go in sooner they let me . Thank you so much guys !
