Owner, Dr. Betsy Crosswell, has built a dental practice based on providing patients with quality dental care by a team who truly care. Each of our team members are caring, understanding and only want the best for our patients. We each strive to ensure our patients are comfortable and cared for as a whole person, not just your mouth.
We provide a state of the art facility, stay up to date on dental trends and technologies, further our expertise with continuing education and truly care about each patient. We take the time to get to really get to know our patients. Each of us has an important role within our dental practice and we work together to provide you with an exceptional experience each time you visit.
HygienistElizabeth is a wonderfully skilled and knowledgeable hygienist. Liz joined our practice in February 2017. Her skills allow her to provide our patients with pain free professional dental Oral Wellness and Periodontal Therapy visits. Liz graduated from Goodwin College with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is passionate about the dental field and looks forward to creating beautiful smiles with our patients. Liz is outgoing, caring and excited to be part of our dental team. Liz spends her free time with her son and family, loves to read and is currently completing her Bachelors in Alternative Medicine and Wellness.
Practice Manager Jan is the newest member of our team. She comes to us with 15 years of experience in dentistry with extensive knowledge in dental insurance, scheduling and business administration. Jan studied Sociology at CCSU and has worked in healthcare since college. Please feel free to contact Jan with any billing, insurance or scheduling questions. When not at the office, Jan spends most of her free time with her grandchildren, children and family.
Hygienist Jennifer joined our practice in 2018 and is skilled and informative hygienist. Jen takes great pride in her work and is an informative hygienist with exceptional clinical skills. She is driven by her patients' sense of satisfaction after leaving the dental chair and strives to provide high quality Oral Wellness and Periodontal Therapy visits. Born and raised in Stratford, CT, Jennifer graduated from the University of Bridgeport with an Associate Degree in dental hygiene in 2007 and joined our team in July 2018. Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her son Noah, watching animated movies and has been practicing yoga for many years.
Dental Assistant Christina makes our patients comfortable and calm with her cheery personality. Christina joined our team in February 2017 as a certified dental assistant. She graduated Porter and Chester Institute in 2010 with a certification in Dental Assisting. Since then she has developed her skills in many aspects of dentistry, such as working with children in Pediatrics and assisting side by side with an Oral Surgeon. Christina comes to our office bringing her varied experience in dentistry to help provide the best level of care for the patients. In her spare time she competitively shows and rides Arabian horses, loves to read books and comics, and taught herself how to crochet!

I have been receiving continuous dental care at Arborview Dental Care since I moved to Middletown in 1982, first under the care of Dr. Apter and then Dr. Croswell. I could not say enough about the excellent care I have received from both of them and their staff, and I have never considered switching to another dental care provider. As was Dr. Apter, Dr. Croswell is an outstanding dentist, assisted by an equally highly trained and attentive team. Their logo says, "You're not just a patient; you are family," and they've always treated me as if I were.

I had a very positive dental visit and examination at Arborview Dental on S. Main St in Middletown, CT USA. My initial examination and cleaning by the Hygienist was comfortable for me. I had questions concerning toothpaste varieties answered. My clean teeth were also agreed with after the dentist examination with other mouth hygiene examinations occurring. I am set to return again in 6 months.
