An advocate of continuous learning, Dr. Brawner has completed a range of post-dental school education, including becoming an American Academy of Implant Dentistry Associate Fellow. He is a firm believer in a whole-body approach to dentistry and believes that the patients needs always come first without exception. Dr. Brawner grew up in Bozeman, Montana, and received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University. After completing dental school at Oregon Health Science University and graduating with honors, Dr. Brawner practiced in Farmington, New Mexico, for four years. In 2016, he permanently relocated to Austin to establish Arbor Oaks Dental. Dr. Brawner is an avid sports fan, and in his spare time, he enjoys hobbies including golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.
Brenda obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas health Science Center in San Antonio where she graduated Cum Laude in 2004. She loves helping patients achieve optimal oral health. In her spare time she loves traveling with her husband and daughter.

Every single person there, from the receptionist to the office manager to the dental hygienist to the dentist were extremely welcoming, informative and just a delight! I highly recommend Arbor Oaks Dental!

I had my 6 month appointment with my hygienist and then Dr. Brawner. It went great. I had been needing to take care of replacing and old filling and since they had an opening, I decided to take care of it the next day. It is not a fun thing to do, but Dr. Brawner is so caring and personable, it makes it much easier. His assistant was great and was checking throughout procedure if I was doing okay. The whole team is wonderful and I would recommend Arbor Oak Dental if you are looking for a dentist who wants the best for you and is patient with your timing on getting your dental needs taken care of. They are about preventative care and Dr. Brawner is meticulous with his work and wants to make sure you are happy with your smile and that you have a healthy mouth!!!

If you are looking for people who actually care about your teeth and are honest and fair with cost, this is the place for you. I came here after being disappointed with a previous dentist and Arbor Oaks corrected the issues in my mouth the same day.

I had a chipped tooth that was cutting my tongue and they were able to get me in and fix the tooth all in the same day! They made me feel like a priority whereas other dentists couldn't get me in for two months! The cost was reasonable, even without insurance. I would recommend them over and over!!!

I've been seeing the team at Arbor Oaks for over a year now, after nearly a decade of avoiding dental care out of fear and shame. My personal dental hygiene goals were their priority from the start, as was my comfort. They respect the fact that dental care isn't cheap, with the incredible Megan handling the nitty gritty of provider communications for me to ensure I could afford the care I needed, and there is never a guilt trip about the urgency of more procedures or frequent cleanings. Brenda is truly the most efficient and effective yet gentle hygienist I've ever had. Dr. Brawner is a warm presence, but he doesn't waste your time with excessive idle talk or repeat conversations. The entire office understands that a dental appointment isn't most people's favorite place to be, but they work diligently to make it the best experience possible. If you're someone suffering from anxiety, whether general or regarding dental care specifically, this team is right for you. They explain every step of the process, check-in frequently to make sure you're holding up OK, and they don't waste your time. Genuine thanks to the team at Arbor Oaks Dental. I'll continue to recommend you to anyone in the North Austin area.

Friendly and professional staff. ! Very detailed in his examination. He leaves nothing out regarding your dental health and wellbeing. And the facilities at the clinic are the best I have seen in years... comfortable, clean and state of the art. I definitively recommend! Super service.
