Dr. Acharya was born in Chicago and raised in the Chicagoland area. He grew up enjoying many sports and outdoor activities. For his Undergraduate studies he attended the University of Illinois inUrbana-Champaign and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Physiology.Afterwards he attendedthe University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago and graduated in 1991. He currently resides with his wife, Jodi, and two sons. On a yearly basis Dr. Acharya goes above and beyond by attending numerous hours of extra educational coursework to keep up with the latest in dentistry. The following is a summary of his education:
