Dr. Araujo graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1995. Then Dr. Araujo completed a 3-year graduate training in periodontics at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia where he received intense training in all phases of periodontal treatment and dental implant surgery.
Dr. Araujo is married to his loving wife Tara, a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for Montgomery County Public Schools. Together they enjoy raising their two sons, Tyler and Caleb. In his free time he enjoys coaching soccer and running.

I saw Dr. Araujo for a second opinion on my gums. He was thorough in his examination and clear in his diagnosis even though I had neglected to bring x-rays from my DDS's office. I would highly recommend him. The office staff was cordial and business like.

The facility is good. Team welcoming, but I had to wait 30 minutes. And the deep cleaning hurt for the lower teeth.

It was a positive experience. Clean office, good protection. The only recommendation I would have is to have an (e)document telling patients what care they need after deep scaling. That is something others do and it is helpful indeed. It saves time (for the doctor) and reassures the patients. MANY THANKS. STAY SAFE.
