I was a patient of this office for a number of years when I lived in the area. Great dentist. Always on time and explained everything to me in detail. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here to see Dr. Arandia for a few years now. Every appointment I've had, all the staff have been kind, friendly, informative, and overall just really easy to work with. Even after moving out of Brighton, I won't be looking elsewhere. Highly recommend

Dr. Arandia and the rest of the staff at this dental group are amazing! I have had some horrible experiences at other dentists offices, but the staff at Arandia & Meola Dental Group always make me feel comfortable. They are always clear, transparent with procedures and pricing, and patient with me when I am not their easiest patient ;) EDIT: I see a lot of negative reviews here about the receptionists and I 100% disagree with them. I have had many experiences with the receptionists here and they are organized, kind, and very communicative. Not sure where those reviews are coming from.

My $38 charge that was supposed to be billed to insurance instead was sent to collections - and they tacked on a $150 "legal fee" on top of it. Avoid this place completely

As far as private dentists go I cannot recommend Arandia & Meola Dental Group enough. I don't understand the 3 star rating in Google reviews because they are clean, professional, kind, and they know what they are doing. As a cancer patient with genetically screwed up teeth I have a hard time finding dentists who know what questions to ask and how to connect with both myself and all my other care providers. Their reception staff are kind and make it a point to know each patient by name and face. The office are a little small but don't let the shabby exterior fool you. Their equipment is top notch. . The dental assistant I had was polite but not super chatty. But she was attentive, I expressed some discomfort when doing x-rays for my first visit. Ive had enough dental work done to know that this is always unpleasant, she immediately readjusted which went a long way towards making the discomfort more bearable. . One of the things I loved about this office is the lack of judgement. I've put my dental care on the back burner to deal with other health issues. They were both understanding and clearly didn't have any contempt for me over it. I found it quite refreshing as that attitude has been quite rare in my experience.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!!! I myself had an ok experience with he dentist here but an extremely negative one with the receptionist both times I had contact with them. She was extremely rude and incompetent to me and cancelled my appointment and was horrible to reschedule with. I only went because it was close to my house. Now I find out that the same woman cancelled my girlfriends appointment and then denied her care and refused to even let her come. How is this even this receptionists place to be refusing people health care. What she did is both illegal, denying someone healthcare and discrimination against my partner. All I know is I will never go back and I will tell people till the end of time not to go! I would give zero stars if I could!

Do not go to Arandia & Meola Dental Group in Brighton. I just had the WORST experience of my life. I work in customer service so I have very high patience but nothing would prepare me for this shitshow I woke up for today. I haven't been to the dentist in 10 years due to insurance issues. Just got dental insurance this year so I made an appointment on one of my days off. I show up to the establishment and think it's going to be great. Front desk woman is great! She's super kind. It wasn't until I was brought in when shit hit the fan. The Dental Assistant didn't ask me any questions. She just said "we're doing XRays because it's your first time" I didn't fight and thought okay this must be normal. She was super rude when I told her this was my first time in a long time. She SHOVED the X-ray pieces in my mouth, JAMMED them to the point where I was gagging. She couldn't clearly get the right photos because she had to call for help every 2 mins. Hey I've been the new kid before at work, I get it. But this was unprofessional since she wasn't apologizing. Now both of them were shoving this X-ray machine down my throat. This took her TWENTY MINUTES. Something that should be 5 took her 20! She didn't apologize for anything. Then I overheard two ladies talking behind me "where is he? Oh he's in traffic? We will have to cancel her" and then she was gone from the room for five minutes. Just for the receptionist to not say "Hey the doctor is running late" she LIED to me and said he had an emergency and canceled my appointment WHILE I WAS SITTING THERE IN THE CHAIR. After all that X-ray struggle, just to be canceled like that. I simply left by saying this was the worst experience I've experienced in a long time. Coming from someone who has anxiety and is afraid of the dentist, this was one of the worst experiences. Do not support this practice.

TRICARE BEWARE Id like to write a review about the actual service however I never made it past the front desk. Rudely greeted. Lost my paperwork. Clearly wasnt aware with how to process tricare dental, and offered no desire to help in figuring it out. I walked out. Hire a new receptionist.

Arandia/Meola is the best dental practice in Boston. I am a long-standing patient at this practice and mostly see Dr. Arandia. He is a world-class, extremely skillful, and professional expert. Dr. Arandia is 100% transparent and will guide you through every step of the treatment, providing several solution options, yet letting you make the decision that is best for you. Every step of the way you can count on the office and dental assistants to make sure things go smoothly. Overall an exceptionally caring and talented team.

Came here in an emergency last summer after not having visited a dentist in years. They saw me quickly and were friendly, comforting, honest, and non-judgemental. Worked with me on a payment plan and didn't try to upsell me into work that wasn't urgent or necessary. Dr. Arandia and Marisa are great! I saw multiple assistants and they were all friendly too. I feel so relieved to have my teeth finally taken care of, and will ne keeping up with cleanings and exams with Dr. Arandia and his team for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Arandia for 2+ years now and have always had a wonderful experience, especially after going to some other dentists in the Boston area. I have always found him and his staff to be incredibly friendly, helpful and flexible with scheduling appointments, payment, and care plans, and recommend him to all of my friends in Brighton if they are looking for a dentist. He's my favorite dentist of all the ones I've had in 25 years!

The hygienist and front desk staff were nice, and they were well prepared to handle all COVID matters seriously. However, the rest of the appointment wasn't that good. The dentist didn't introduce himself, I had to ask who he was. It wasn't that friendly of a conversation but more-so of a let's get down to business in-and-our operation. I'm used to seeing the dentist at the very end but he came right after the x-rays which were done in the first few minutes and then stayed for a bit longer. It felt a bit rough when he was going though my teeth. There was too much time where he was working on my teeth without allowing my jaw to close from being held open for a while, which is an unnatural pose to hold. In addition, it was very dry-mouth based as not enough water or frequency of it was used. So, I just felt bleeding and was afraid I was going to swallow and choke on it, along the suction tube sucking against my inner cheek to the side. Then when he left, the hygienist was applying fluoride. Instead of several teeth of fluoride followed by some water, water wasn't applied until the very end. So my mouth felt dried and caked with fluoride till the end. In addition, there were a few times her fingernails poked my sensitive gums when applying fluoride. Lastly, the flossing was done a bit harshly, as if she was tasked to floss gums of stone. Mine of gummy, sensitive yet firm tissue not a rock. At the end my mouth was very sensitive and sore. It felt like blood was going to suddenly from all the gums in my mouth. I played it cool to set up a 6 months appointment follow-up but this will be the last of me here, and I'll be going elsewhere where my insurance covers me.
