She graduated with a B.S in Biology from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina and received her DMD degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. After working at the National Health Service Corp in Philadelphia, she served offices in the Chester and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania. Dr. Boykin-Miller is a member of the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association.
Hes the best at what he does and he stands by his work. One thing that I really respect and admire about Dr. Higgs is that when he tells you something, you can take it to the bank, it is as good as gold. He was my Doctor and he turned into a good friend
I would recommend coming here to see Dr. Higgs just because hes gonna make this feel like a very smooth and comfortable process. The entire time hes comforting you in a way and talking to you and making everything feel as trusting as possible

This dentist has taken care of my family for over 15 years! Gentle Dawnie is the best hygienist I've ever had. She even got a full set of X-rays without making me gag.

Great service, however very disappointing to be told my insurance was in-network, and then I receive a balance notice and get told it wasn't in-network. Also was trying to get some additional work done but now have to look elsewhere.

We looked for a dentist that we felt comfortable with for a long time, and found Dr. Higg's at Aquila Dental and loved them! They treat you kindly, and are reasonable in their approach and treatment. They became a great dentist for our whole family! Highly recommend!

This dental facility is the best I've ever been to from front the front staff to Josie, and Dawnie warner the dental hygienists, and Dr. Higgs himself. They are true professionals beyond what words can say. I will continue to go every 6 months forever to have my teeth checked out. Thanks again for all you do for my teeth and all of your patients teeth. See you in 6 months for sure.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Higgs for over 10 years. On a recent Sunday, I had a crown come off. Dr. Higgs understood the urgency and was able to accommodate me Monday morning. For this, and the great service over the years, I highly recommend Dr. Higgs without any reservations.

EDIT TO RESPONSE: Offering me a free exam is unreasonable, as the exam is already covered by my insurance. What would be more reasonable was to read your X-rays correctly which would have prevented me spending $130 for a specialist that wasn't needed in the first place. And if you stood by the care you give your patients, you wouldn't have agreed with me that Ashley handled the call inappropriately and promised me that she would be "dealt with."(I'm sure your calls are recorded but if not, I did!) I scheduled an appointment because I was experiencing sensitivity issues in my tooth. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and the environment was welcoming so I expected a great outcome. My dentist took an X-ray and immediately determined that the tooth in question was tooth #19 which had a previous root canal. She told me that the X-ray clearly showed the bottom of the "root" being swollen. She referred me to Ana endodontist specialist whom I would see weeks later. Fast-forward to me visiting the specialist, he takes X-rays and reviews my teeth and says "There's nothing wrong with the tooth which had a previous root canal (#19), the problem is coming from your bite." I reiterated the so-called "swelling" my dentist saw on her X-ray and his response was "That's the benefit of us having 3D imaging. It allows us to see more details and there's no swelling on that tooth." Which means, I spent $130 for absolutely nothing. I called Aquila Dental immediately after leaving my appointment with the endodontist and spoke to Ashley who was snappy at me as if this was her own personal situation and not her job. Honestly, Ashley's response (or lack there of) is what prompted me to write this review. It's cost you nothing to be nice and neutral, especially when your patient is out of $130 with the same issue lingering. Let's hope when I get a call back from their office I will speak to someone with a bit more empathy.

Dr. Higgs and his staff always come through. You're always greeted with a smile and given the red carpet-treatment. Dr. Higgs is an Excellent doctor! He stands by his work and is sensitive, thorough, and caring. The Best!.

Been coming here for a couple of years and have always had a great experience! The entire staff are very friendly and patient. They really take the time to ask about how you are doing and do their best to fix any dental issues. I always look forward to my appointments:) I also recently started Invisalign here and have loved my treatment. They have Ben persistent in checking to make sure the process is going well, and ensuring I get the exact results I want.
