Dr. Gutierrez was born in a small town near Estado Lara, Venezuela. Both parents are Cuban natives. As a young girl she always had a smile on her face, which encouraged her to pursue her career in Dentistry. She earned her bachelors degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1992 at the University of Zulia, Venezuela. She continued her education at the University to receive her Masters Degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1999. After graduating she migrated to Kansas City where she met with the director of the UMKC which helped her get her license from the Netherlands in 2000. Dr. Gutierrez then completed her residence in Aruba. In 1999 Dr. Gutierrez started a convention where she traveled with the students from UMKC to Venezuela to volunteer providing dental services at a local Orphanage named Abansa. She continued this act of charity for 6 years. Dr. Gutierrez then moved to South Florida in 2004 where she attended Nova Southeastern University in 2007 and graduated within two years with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. The last year she was treating patients with Disabilities and Special Needs.
Dr. Gutierrez is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care in a warm, comfortable environment. She is licensed to administer Conscious Moderate Oral Sedation for adults and pediatric patients. She is a member of the ADA, DOCS, and the Northern Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Gutierrez strives to maintain a high level of expertise through regular participation in continuing education courses and seminars. She has dealt with hundreds of cases involving complicated extractions and root canal therapies using advanced equipment.
In her free time Dr. Gutierrez loves the outdoors, dancing, listening to music, boating, and water skiing. She also likes to spend quality time with her family in Florida. Her charismatic attitude is sure to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

From the time you step in until the time you leave It is wonderful . The staff , the doctors they care so much about their patients. They will call and check up on you after your service to see how you're doing. They treat you like family.

From the front desk - X-ray tech - dental hygienist - to the dentist they take their time with you. They don't rush you. Everything is explained before, during and after the process. Dr. Gutierrez is who I saw and this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship. This office treated me like family. Thank you Aquia Dental.

Dont go here unless you want unprofessional service and staff. Does not matter what time you want an appointment they will give you the time slot they want to fill. I asked for an 830am apt they said sure when it's time for my apt its changed to 910am. I said thats not what was agreed upon it was oh well thats what you got, I cancled and left, they seemed not to care. Mr Graham thank you for your response but no there is nothing you can do to fix this. This was my initial visit and I saw how things work. I didn't get into the ladies flipped response; my wife is a clint and was there getting work done at 8am she asked if I could get an appointment around the same time and was told there was an 830 that would work. This was explained to your staff, she snapped back that would not work because the dentist cant be at two places at once. Really like this was my fault you all gave me the 830 apt and said that would work. I was offered no solutions, I said I guess I got no choice it's probably too late to cancel and she responded right away no you can cancel almost like thats best. I agree it's best, I wish you well in your business. Very respectful, Jeff
