Never been to another practice so I can't compare but I tell you what...will never go anywhere else to be able to. Dr. O'Neil and his staff are great...Dr O'Neil goes out of his way to make sure your comfortable, does great work and he'll call you himself to check on you after your procedure...I highly recommend!!!

*Updated to add comment* Thanks for the response. You're correct, I've never been there. My star rating was in reference to the video of you speaking to the young man. You have a business in my neighborhood and it's my personal opinion that your practice doesn't represent a positive place here. The owner represents the business and hopefully you'll address what has appeared, which was pretty disappointing to see.

This place is amazing I never have a problem getting an appointment and every one of the staff has the best attitude and the dentist actually seems like he cares and makes me feel comfortable which I have never been able to feel walking into a dentist office I don't have that nervous feeling and that is so important to me when I have someone working on my teeth.

Dr O'Neill is one of the best Oral surgeons in the tri-cities. He is very professional and makes it to point to form an exceptional doctor/patient relationship. He takes his time and explains every step of the process and will answer any questions you have. I have government assistance insurance and I am so THANKFUL that he takes my insurance. For all ages too! He is a true blessing to the tri-cities and I would recommend Dr. O'Neill to anyone. Thank you to his staff for being so kind and helpful with every step of the process!

Dr. O'Neill and staff are always caring and well with explaining treatment needed! They were efficient with getting an appointment scheduled without waiting weeks out. Dr. O'Neill took his time and made me feel like I was his own family he was treating.

*They somehow get 1 star reviews hidden. I've seen them disappear and not too long after a 5 star one appears* You guys have to be kidding me. I guess it's alright to hear the work is okay. Can't say this O'Neil guy is a racist but definitely gives off bigot vibes from that video floating around. I don't know who he thinks he is to talk to people like that. Definitely not someone I'd want to be in the presence of, or work for. It's 2022, if you want to be a certain way towards a certain group of people, maybe you should move your practice outside of a different neighborhood.

Going to the dentist or having oral surgery is never fun but the folks at Appomattox River Oral Surgery made it as welcoming and comfortable as it gets. They explained all available options and walked me through the process so there were never any surprises. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the actual surgeon called to follow up and check-in on my progress during recovery. I will continue to rely on Dr. O'Neil for any future dental work should it be needed.

This has been the best experience I've ever had and if I could give them a 100 stars I would. First I'm a very nervous person when having to go to the doctor or get any type of surgery. They made my experience very relaxing and less pain. I got 4 teeth extracted and stitches as well I have not been in any pain nor have I had to take pain medicine as much. Thank you so much and I highly recommend them to everyone in need of dentist service.

Dr O'Neil did a phenomenal job on extracting my teeth...his staff and others that where there at the time where very professional and did a great job.Dont hesitate to go get your teeth fixed ....Appomattox river oral and facial is one of the best in my own opinion thanks again

Dr O'Neil did a wonderful job taking out my teeth very professional I recommend him to anyone who have tooth problems he explains everything just in case to you have questions and he have great staff so thank you dr.O'Neil and his staff for taking care of me appreciate it.

Dr. O'Neil was excellent when I needed a procedure done. So much so today I took my daughter for wisdom teeth removal consult. He was so friendly and took time to answer our questions. His staff are friendly too. We scheduled my daughter surgery on a date that worked for us. I trust my daughter will be in good hands!

I would recommend Dr O'Neil to anyone, he does great dental work, and he really cares about his patients, he truly has your best interest in mind, if he can save your teeth he will, not to mention the painless and fast removal of your teeth, if you want great service and a caring dentist I truly recommend Dr. O'Neil

Do not be nervous about an extraction. Dr O'Neill operates very quickly and precisely. Only a few minutes between start to finish. He stitched me up nicely with dissolvable stitches. Best part, absolutely no pain after the procedure.

Loved him and his staff...you will need a referral if you need any tooth services ..but he is so worth it....quick and easy....and gets the problem solved ...talked with me through out entire process ...out and in....does take Medicaid and even tho your actual appointment may seem out ,he was. Very accommodating...I had a consul ,my tooth cracked that next week ,my actual extraction was for another 3 weeks his staff fit me in a day after the tooth cracked..lover lover loved...and not saying this will be everyone situation but they did it for me...as usual being nice and having paperwork right always ensures a pleasant experience ...likely to refer

I had 5 teeth extracted with just gas. The doctor put me at ease, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had a quick procedure and knew that the staff would be there if I had any issues or questions at any time. The office is clean and spacious with up to date tools and equipment that makes your visit more comfortable.
