Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Please listen to the other reviews - this is a chain dentistry. They have quotas to hit and will scam the daylights out of you. I knew something was wrong when a general dentist wanted to reverse orthodontic work and remove nonexistent wisdom teeth. Go support a local family dentistry!

We need to talk about corporate dentistry scams. I saw many red flags during my experience here which culminated in them quoting me over $800 in periodontal work I "needed" done. This didn't feel right and sure enough I just visited a different local dentist today who confirmed my suspicions about corporate dentistry chains. She told me that places like Applewood Modern Dentistry try to appear local and will tell you at you have serious problems that don't exist. I got a cleaning and clean bill of health from that local dentist and will be sticking with established non scam-y practices from now on. Beware!

I have to say that when I go to Applewood Modern Dentistry for my cleanings, the whole team, which consists of Aleece, Brandon, Matt, Lauralee and Dr Carly, they do such a great job! They inform me of anything that changes in my teeth and gums (good or bad). I love this team of people! They are an awesome group!

I was really nervous to go back to the dentist after a couple years (COVID times). I've been searching for a good dentist and I am so glad my friend recommended Applewood Modern Dentistry! Carly is fantastic! She answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, and walked me through everything. The entire team was knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. I was comfortable and cared for, and they got my teeth fixed up. I am just so glad I found them.

My husband and I started going to Applewood Modern Dentistry in early 2022 after almost 3 years without a dentist (moved from out of state and then Covid...). I have been incredibly pleased with all of our interactions with everyone at this practice. The staff is friendly and makes sure to explain everything that they are doing. All of the technology used in the office is state of the art and makes for a smooth visit and experience. I don't necessarily enjoy going to the dentist (I needed 2 root canals and 3 crowns after my dental office hiatus), but I don't dread my appointments here like I have other offices in the past!

I cannot explain how nervous I was walking in here, but let me tell you I had such a wonderful experience! The entire staff, every single one of them, helped me feel comfortable, they were kind, informative, and fun humans to be around (: I definitely found where I want to receive my dental care!

From the moment I walked in here everyone from the receptionists to the x-ray specialist the dentists here were so kind and helpful, the gent that did my X-rays helped take my tongue ring out, made what I thought was going to be a stressful experience a really enjoyable one, I look forward to seeing Dr.Topley again for all my needs from here on out!

Never have I ever had a more enjoyable experience with dentistry than with Applewood Modern Dentistry. Dr. Topley, Alexis, and the team always make sure that I feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of, and they manage to allay my many dentist-related fears and anxieties with their gentle touch and personable, patient-oriented care. Alexis, ever the incredible communicator, has guided me through numerous scheduling and payment debacles and always made it look easy breezy. I'm moving away now and will miss staring lovingly into Dr. Topley's eyes as she gently and compassionately attends to my dental needs - the thought of finding a new provider is crushing after having the very best I've ever met. Dr. Topley made me feel welcome and comfortable after an embarrassing amount of years without seeing the dentist. I never felt judged or ashamed when talking to her even though it had been way too long since I'd been to the dentist. She and Alexis were hilarious and so fun to work with while being kind and professional. The only thing that could have made my experience better is if they had a wine bar ;-) I can't say enough good things about my experience with Applewood Modern Dentistry.
