Dr. Westbrook and his wife, Dr. Phebe Clare Winters, cometo New Hampshire with a deep love of New England and the people who call it home. After spending several years in Maine, they have grown to love the beauty that comes with the distinct northeastern seasons. After searching for a great practice and the perfect place to call home, the seacoast of New Hampshire seems to have it all, naturalbeauty, great people, culturedtowns and cities nearby and an opportunity to carry on a great tradition of service that Dr. Casper started. Dr. Westbrook ishonored to be able to serve such a wonderful community. Dr. Westbrook brings an artistic eye and scientific brain to the many challenges that we face in maintaining a healthy oral cavity. Hehas many interests outside of Dentistry that he brings with him to assist in providing his patients with the most well rounded, thorough and thoughtful care.

Dr. Westbrook studied mathematics at Boston College and has always had a passion for problem solving and engineering. After attaining his Bachelors in Science, Dr. Westbrook went directly into Dental School at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

To further advance his training, Dr. Westbrook completed a one year Post-DocAdvanced Education in General Dentistry Residency to have more experience with challengingcases and more advanced procedures. Under the guidance of some of the best Dentists in the country, Dr. Westbrook was able to refine his skills and build a large repertoire of problem solving abilities to bring to his patients.

Dr. Westbrook has many interests outside of Dentistry. You can find Dr. Westbrookfigure drawing and landscape painting on the shores of Monhegan island, competitively weightlifting at National events, broadcasting and hosting podcasts and commentating at world weightlifting events, playing guitar or even target shooting with a Martin recurve bow. During the summer time he loves to play tennis, golf and swim. Both Dr. Westbrook and his wifelove to travel to places all over the world to absorb new experiences and cultures. While traveling, Dr. Westbrook also enjoys photographing his journeys as can be seen by many of the photos at our site.

Dr. Westbrook and Dr. Winters had a wonderful small wedding in Camden, Maine with theirfamilies. They had a short ceremony followed by asailboat ride to enjoy a beautiful evening. They spent 5 days in Portugal for their honeymoon.

Lishagraduated from Hesser Business College with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. She has been working in the dental field for over 12 years. Her experience processing dental claims allows her to assist patients to maximize their benefits. She helps patients that may need guidance navigating through financial options and has extensive knowledge having worked with Care Credit over the years. When Lisha is not in the office she spends her time with her two daughters, Megan and Molly, often traveling together. Lisha also enjoys reading a good book, camping, kayaking, hiking and snow shoeing.

John is a father of two growing up kids, is a native to New Hampshire and has been a hygienist for over 20 years. When hes not dancing along teeth he likes to dabble in woodworking, fix old sewing machines and prevent his two yellow labs from creating any more havoc.

Jen, one of our dental hygienists, has been with Applewood Family Dentistry since January of 2017. She graduated from the University of New England and has been practicing for 19 years. She and her hubby have lived here in Barrington for the past 11 years. They have four children (two sets of twins) that keep them busy and a little bit crazy. When shes not scrubbing teeth or taking care of kiddos she enjoys outside activities, scrapbooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

My name is Molly and I have been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2019. My favorite procedures to assist are crown preparations and problem focused exams- where Dr. Westbrook and I work together to fabricate a customized course of treatment as well as provide professional guidance and advice in regard to oral health. When I am not in the office you can catch me attending a local yoga class, browsing through the thrift store, reading, hiking, or spending time with friends and family.

Stephanie grew up in southern NH and has lived in Barrington for seven years. She graduated from Seacoast Career schools in 2013 and brings experience from a variety of dental specialties. Her favorite parts of working in dentistry are Implant and surgical procedures and making patients as comfortable and happy as she can while theyre in the chair! When she's not working, she spends time with her 11 year old son, their new puppy, and their grumpy cats. They love to go camping, boating and paddle boarding when the weather allows!
